From what I know the entire has never been in any of the shows. Some of the members are spread out across games and stuff though. Like Mercurymon being in Digimon Savers or Apollomon and Dianamon being Digimon World Dawn and Dusk.
@Steel Edge Agreed, it's always the Royal Knights that get all the attention. I mean, I love the Royal Knights, but I really wish the Olympus 12 got more attention, especially since for well over a decade, it was just Apollomon, Dianamon, and Merukimon.
I know this video is very old but I would like to comment about this. Personally I love the Olympus 12 more than the Royal Knights as the Royal Knights (as far as I know from the anime, movies and games) are not co-operative with each other and some of them have a very twisted idea of Justice, some of them are even main villains. But the Olympus 12 seems like they are reasonable Digimons that actually do work together to keep the peace of their Digital World. Now there are some exceptions I see like Junomon who seems only care for Jupitermon and no one else, as well as Marsmon who seems like he will do anything to get victory even though he maybe in the wrong. I guess this is why Jupitermon is the leader, to make sure none of them go out of line. Now for my personal favorites: - Venusmon - Minervamon/Mervamon - Jupitermon - Bacchusmon - Ceresmon Another thing, I don't know whether or not you accept requests, but I would like to request you doing a trivia of the Bancho Digimons if possible.
The two members of the Olympus 12 who are usually portrayed as the leading protagonists are the sister-brother duo of Dianamon, and Apollomon with Dianamon in most Digimon Lore being the calmer, more tactical of the two though she does suffer from a Split Personality aka one personality is the calm, tactical genius heroine we're familiar with and the other personality is a more serious, aggressive, darker intelligent anti-heroine though that one rarely comes out, and Apollomon being portrayed most of the time as a courageous, noble, honorable warrior who tends to act like a stubborn hothead at times. And the two fuse together into one of my most favorite Jogress/DNA Digivolutions the Gundam-esque GraceNovamon a Galaxy-Class Mega Level Digimon who was said to have protected the Iliad Server during it's darkest hour.
I'd agree if killing wasnt normal for digimon. Everyone kills, even the good guys so doing the thing thats "normal" that everybody does and ruling evil with intimidation sounds like batman to me

This was worth the wait; I always knew of the Olympus 12's existence but never really knew much about them, this was truly informative. My favorites are Dianamon, Venusmon, Apollomon, Volcanusmon, Ceresmon, and Jupitermon; and I like Plutomon's design. It doesn't surprise me that they had a DNA digivolution with Dianamon and Apollomon, in roman myths Diana and Apollo are twin siblings. I truly enjoy your videos of digimon trivia; makes me want to research Digimon more. I know for a fact your other videos will make me want to watch any other anime you do videos on. Keep up the amazing work.
Interesting note, In the mythology or the Olympians/Dii Contestes, Hestia/Vesta, Goddess of the Hearth, was originally a member, but she stepped aside and gave her seat to Dionysis/Baccuss. This was to preserve the peace but it had the adverse effect of unbalancing the Olympians/Dii Contestes as previusly there where an even number os seats held by God and Godesses. With Hestia.Vesta stepping aside and giving her seat to Dionysis/Baccus, there where now more seats held by Gods than Godesses. Maybe there will be a Vestamon associated with the Olympos XII but not actually a member in the future. I like your lines, even if most of them aren't curent official options.
That's not actually true as there is no myth of Hestia/Vesta standing aside. That's more a modern take on the myths. In reality, it's simple because the Greeks had different views on which gods were a part of the 12 and it changed over time

Digital World: Illiad is an interesting concept. The Olympos XII versus the Three Gods of Destruction would be a nice change from the oversaturation or Royal Knights and Demon Lords. And it'd add to the 3 Gods history. Right now having only appeared in one game and not having an establshed history, they don't feel like a real group to me.

my favorite Olympus XII member is Dianamon, since I like Lunamon evolution line as well, I like everything based on moon, ice, or blue stuff, her base as a bunny is a point plus to me since it's tied to Japanese mythology for the rabbit of the moon other Olympus XII members that I like as well are Neptunemon, Plutomon (if you count him), and Apollomon Neptunemon because of blue digizoid (same reason as Ulforce V-Dramon) Plutomon because of his method of seing justice is probably the same as LordKnightmon Apollomon because of his connection with Dianamon

Thank you for this video, seriously. There aren't many Digimon youtubers out there, and the little number we have, they don't go over the things you do (which I personally love). I always wanted to learn more about these Digimon from both perspectives: Digimon lore & learn more about their real-life historical origins (Greek and Roman mythology fascinates me, they are some of my favorite). *You're doing amazing job here dude keep it up!!* And to answer your question: Yes, I'd love a movie/series/OVA or something that goes over Aegiomon's story. That would be great. Hopefully they do that and maybe have a video game with a story involving the Olympus 12 now since they already went over the Royal Knights and the Demon Lords (several times, mind you). Digimon has great potential as a series. It is up to Bandai to know what to do with it.
At first I was a bit baffled at why they gave Mervamon a snake theme. Qwl's have usually been associated with Minerva/Athena as they are usually symbols of wisdoms. It also surprises me that they gave the Owl-motife to Jupitermon instead of an Eagle as one would expect. But now I've finally got the ironic joke they made with Mervamon. For those who are familiar with the story of the Gorgon Medusa, Athena was the one who cursed her in the the first place and as explained in the video Minerva is Athena's Roman counterpart. It's a pretty nice nod to the lore of Athena/Minerva.

This seal involved their essence being split across the entire multiverse(infinite number of infinite multiverses with infinite timelines,infinite parallel dimensions and infinitely branching space-time). All the Demon Kings we saw in all media are just a piece of the whole.
They should make a game or movie about a war between the 13 Royal knights and the Olympus 12. I think that would be awesome. Also my favorites would be. Venusmon. Minervamon. Dianamon.

Both royal knights and 12 olympus are influence by imperialdramon paladin mode. They need to do a story of what and why Imperialdramon is important for both world. To me imperialdramon like a great sage for 2 digital world.
In some bios for Imperialdramon PM it states it appeared when there was some sort of cataclysmic event threatening the ancient world. Maybe Imperialdramon PM founding the royal knights and helping the Olympus 12 had something to do with said event 🤔 I'm just speculating of course

I love that the other world's name is Illiad and it's ruler is Homirus or whatever, referencing Homer who wrote the book The Illiad, which talks a lot about the Greek gods. Very nice.
I honestly never knew this was a thing and only knew marsmon and for some reason when I watched this I just remembered and said "OHHHH MINERVAMON HOW COULD I FORGET"
Nice video, always nice to see recognition of the Olympos 12. Just a few thoughts... You take the time to mention that some evolution lines are a guess, but then state other theoretical lines as if they're official. Not really a problem, but some standout, like listing Minervamon's line without mentioning it being a guess, and yet listing Ceresmon's line as a guess even though that one is official. And also, Sistermon Blanc Awakened is still child level. There were some that you listed without mentioning them being a guess that aren't even displayed in official releases. Some of these being Bastemon to Minervamon and Asuramon to Vulcanusmon. I know it probably sounds like I'm nitpicking, but that's just because I loved everything else in this video and these were the only problems that stood out to me, I'm a Digivolution nerd.
I remember obtaining some of these members in digimon world dawn, always wondered who they where I didn't question it just thought they where other megas.
The 3 I remember most from this group are Dianamon and Apollomon as they are the mascots for Dawn and Dusk but... I never knew Minervamon was one and they also make an appearance in a side quest in Dawn/Dusk. Neptunemon I remember being in the games as well as Digimon world DS but don’t really remember them making an appearance as anything other than a Digimon you digivolve. Out of Dianamon and Apollomon, Dianamon is my favourite and not just because Dusk was one of my favourite games. Until recently I’d actually not paid attention to the information in the games on them in the collections.
It would be so sick if these guys where to battle the whole other digital world, like if it came to the worst case scenario then Apollomon and Dianamon would fuse together to make GraceNovamon who is one of the most powerful digimon and has a massive amount of data to battle the one King Drasil for a fight until the end, and the winners side is granted eternal peace. With 13 Royal Knights and The Olympus 12 Digimon fighting for 2 versions of the digital world Chaos is bound to strike.

Actually the main system of the digital world(Yggdrasil),saw the Seven Demon Kings as digimon so powerful that they should not be allowed to remain whole. So he cast a seal upon them. This seal involved their essence being split across the entire multiverse(infinite number of infinite multiverses with infinite timelines,infinite parallel dimensions and infinitely branching space-time). All the Demon Kings we saw in all media are just a piece of the whole.

Both royal knights and 12 olympus are influence by imperialdramon paladin mode. They need to do a story of what and why Imperialdramon is important for both world. To me imperialdramon like a great sage for 2 digital world.
In some bios for Imperialdramon PM it states it appeared when there was some sort of cataclysmic event threatening the ancient world. Maybe Imperialdramon PM founding the royal knights and helping the Olympus 12 had something to do with said event 🤔 I'm just speculating of course

I love that the other world's name is Illiad and it's ruler is Homirus or whatever, referencing Homer who wrote the book The Illiad, which talks a lot about the Greek gods. Very nice.

Nice video, always nice to see recognition of the Olympos 12. Just a few thoughts... You take the time to mention that some evolution lines are a guess, but then state other theoretical lines as if they're official. Not really a problem, but some standout, like listing Minervamon's line without mentioning it being a guess, and yet listing Ceresmon's line as a guess even though that one is official. And also, Sistermon Blanc Awakened is still child level. There were some that you listed without mentioning them being a guess that aren't even displayed in official releases. Some of these being Bastemon to Minervamon and Asuramon to Vulcanusmon.
I know it probably sounds like I'm nitpicking, but that's just because I loved everything else in this video and these were the only problems that stood out to me, I'm a Digivolution nerd.
I remember obtaining some of these members in digimon world dawn, always wondered who they where I didn't question it just thought they where other megas.

The 3 I remember most from this group are Dianamon and Apollomon as they are the mascots for Dawn and Dusk but... I never knew Minervamon was one and they also make an appearance in a side quest in Dawn/Dusk.
Neptunemon I remember being in the games as well as Digimon world DS but don’t really remember them making an appearance as anything other than a Digimon you digivolve.
Out of Dianamon and Apollomon, Dianamon is my favourite and not just because Dusk was one of my favourite games.
Until recently I’d actually not paid attention to the information in the games on them in the collections.
Wait a minute, after watching this for the 10th time, I just realized that Junomon is a straight up yandere!

It would be so sick if these guys where to battle the whole other digital world, like if it came to the worst case scenario then Apollomon and Dianamon would fuse together to make GraceNovamon who is one of the most powerful digimon and has a massive amount of data to battle the one King Drasil for a fight until the end, and the winners side is granted eternal peace. With 13 Royal Knights and The Olympus 12 Digimon fighting for 2 versions of the digital world Chaos is bound to strike.
