I never heard of these X antibody forms but they look absolutely amazing and hope to see more famous digimon get their X antibody forms. Like Renamon or Kimeramon.
Renamon has one. She changes a bit but the most notable is that she has a second tail.

I wouldnt say that the X Antibody makes the Digimon look better or worse. Its more of an alternative form that tends to make the Digimon look more humanoid than they did previously (Wargreymon X and Metalgarurumon X), or at least it was at the beginning. These days its been around long enough where the designs are meant to look cooler than previously such as Galantmon X. Personally, i think that if they revisit Digomon Tamers, they should do this story arc and have X Antibody being a card that the kids can use to modify their Digimon and biomerged forms

I learned about the Dorumon line from Digimon World Dusk (I believe this game is known as Digimon Story Moonlight in Japanese), which was my first Digimon game. It was by complete accident, I was just looking at my Armadillomon's digivolution tree when I saw Dorimon as its In-Training level form, and Dorumon in an alternate path.
I followed the anime's various seasons as a kid, but the Dorumon line was always criminally absent, and I never knew about the Japan exclusive movies (or had access to them) at the time. I practically fell in love with the Dorumon line the moment I discovered it, and I've known about Dorugoramon far longer than Alphamon as a result. Dorumon's digivolution tree in that game is entirely straight forward without any branching paths. It just went from Dorumon to Dorugoramon, it was pretty simple and easy to remember. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that there were branching paths outside of Digimon World Dusk! Heck, I'm pretty sure the Dex versions of Dorugamon, Dorugreymon, and Dorugoramon weren't even in the game.
It doesn't help that throughout my playthrough of Digimon World Dusk, Dorumon and its digivolution line constantly pulled amazing clutches, which made me love the line even more. Every time I saw the next form my digimon was going to take, I was always so giddy and tried farming for it as soon as I possibly could. My excitement was through the roof when I saw Dorugoramon for the first time, though. Easily my favorite Mega! Wave the Dorumon line in front of me, I'm guaranteed to bite. It's a pretty big bias of mine. lol
I always thought Dorugoramon was a cool Digimon and wished it appeared in the games outside of the online games and Hackers Memories.
Out of the Ones that have X after their names I noticed Angewomon doesn't get an X antibody as I only saw Salamon, Gatomon and Magnadramon done.
Always sorta bugged me how the X Antibody types were basically put on the chopping block due to the x antibody. Also Gazimon X kinda looks like a Gazimon going through the werewolf transformation. As for Hacker’s Memory kinda bugs me that none of the X antibody versions like with the Knights were put in
Both DSCS games are vanilla when it comes to available Digimon. No Olympus Twelve, no Sovereign, not all Banchou, etc.
I guess they were limited with their Digimon, even though the games themselves aren’t going past 15GB.

For the most part I like the x antibody Digimon more than the normal ones, but some like Gallantmon X just feel a little bit over designed, like there was just a few to many spikes jutting out of places. Also I'm really happy to learn that TigerVespmon is a natural x antibody, it's one of my favorites so finding out that it's actually pretty special is cool.

Btw, why didn't you bring up the difference between X Antibody and Death-X Antibody? Far as I know, Dracmon line is the natural carrier of the Death-X Antibody, with DEX Dorugamon line being more or less natural.

It is usually shortertened to Dex, like DexDorugamon etc. Its bit hard to explain since there isn't much information about it, but some x antibody digimon that die turn into their Death-x counterparts.
HORRIOR It's literally just an alternate digivolution line. It's not it's own special thing, it's just the X-Antibody still but is more like a corrupt form of Dorugoramon.

I’m not shore if the Destiny Stones are somehow tied in to this subject but that’s what I got when I saw the second season.
My personal favorite X Antibody Digimon is DORUgoramon. I really like Alphamon a lot but DORUgoramon holds a special place in my heart.

Rather than just make him a black colored Gallantmon X, they should make him appear more demonic and make his lance into a gun. He'll keep his shield since he is a knight. That would be so cool.

Thank you for the serious update I started back playing Digimon games last year this year I bought cyber sleuth this month beat it this month and now playing hackers memory and I needed a serious update now I know how to get out form on all 9 or about the Ruger mon but more importantly basically what I saw that all the X-Type Digimon are basically the Remake versions of seasons 1 through 3 that I grew up on a digimon that's all that basically X Evolution was restarting the Canon line over I still prefer the original though and I hate how they don't f***** up on Omnimons character

in my opinion it's both a 50/50 win-win type situation when I look at the designs the X antibody Digimon and original digimon
Digimon World Dawn and Dusk gave me Dorugoramon, so much power
I always considered Dorugoramon to be Dorumon’s final form mainly because of Digimon World DS where that’s the only available final form of the Dorumon line.
Meanwhile I considered Knightmon to be the ultimate before Alphamon due to dawn/dusk.
I’m sure the explanation there would just be limitations for memory or a purposefully trimmed roster.

I really like the royal knights x antibody forms.
My favorite X-Antibody Digimon has to be the new BlackGreymon X because it looks like the Digimon Fusion design for Greymon, which I always thought was just a better design than BlackGreymon/Greymon (Blue) for a Virus-type Greymon variant to match BlackAgumon, MetalGreymon (Virus), and BlackWarGreymon. Otherwise, I tend to prefer the normal forms over the X-Antibody forms, but I do like Hagurumon X, Lopmon X, Terriermon X, Angewomon X, LadyDevimon X, Gankoomon X, and HerculesKabuterimon X. though not necessarily more than the originals, just as alternatives. I also really like MetalGarurumon X as an alternate Mega for the Garurumon line since the fact that Gabumon Digivolves from two legs to four legs to two legs and back to four legs is weird, so MetalGarurumon X might actually be a better Mega for WereGarurumon Sagitarrius Mode than CresGarurumon. I think there are a few I do like better than the original, though. I do really like Myotismon X better than Myotismon, and I really like Beelzemon X as a Digivolution for Myotismon X (even if I think the original Beelzemon is also flawless); Myotismon X also makes sense as a great alternate Ultimate for Sangloupmon since Sangloupmon is an X-Antibody carrier, but Myotismon isn't. I'm okay with the trend of using UlforceVeedramon X as an alternate Mode Change for UlforceVeedramon in some media since UlforceVeedramon Future Mode is apparently in copyright limbo.

Dorugreymon looks like it was designed to become Alphamon. Look at the wings. They are the same color as Alphamon and the golden spikes match the trim on Alphamon.
The other line physically resembles him only in that they are both humanoid and in armor. Otherwise the color and overall design look drastically different.
Digimon usually carry some color or design elements over between wildly different forms and the wings on Dorugreymon are the link design wise imo.

To be honest, I have nothing wrong with both Dorugoramon and Alphamon sharing the Dorugamon line. That said though, I can definitely see your argument for Reptiledramon and Grademon, so either or's a'right with me. Guess it'd depend on what kind of digivolution tree you'd wanna set up for Dorumon, provided you don't stick with the linear approach the anime usually goes for. Again, all good.
LOL. I am laughing to listen this. Antibody is a special word in biochemistry and biology. But, this word is also used in game. Funny but interesting. Game can introduce science with joyful method. I like it.
