I was watching a special on designing rings for diamonds. Something I had never heard before is that whatever you use for the ring, white gold, silver…. The main diamond should be set in platinum because it’s the strongest. I thought it was interesting.
I loved watching Rose. Everything that happens at home, happened to her. It gave me confidence. Perfect heading does not happen. We drop things, lose items, and have to start all over. Thank You!
I found this video more informative than any other video I have watched. She not only shown me things I was doing wrong but also other things that made me more interested in using more than just stretch cord. Patty was a real joy to watch and listen to. I usually get bored quickly, but I had to watch till the end. I also bookmarked it to be able to watch again any time.
I know this is an older video. But I found it now and I would like to thank you for having my jewelry looking considerably more professional from today! Besides I enjoy your sense of humor a lot. Made me stick with the video until the end without allowing anything to interrupt me😊
Just watching this 8/3/2024! Glad I came across this tutorial. I have tried using crimps but now I see how easy it is and how professional it makes your DIY jewelry look! Great video!😊
I, too, use sterling silver 2x2’s for all of my crimping! It was only by personal experience that I came to this valuable conclusion! Stronger, bendable and not brittle!
As a newbie to Crimps this video was my greatest find, it's brilliant thank you. You made it fun, I love how you teach, thank you since. I had to watch it twice though because I couldn't stop staring at how beautiful your hands are 😊💕
Thank you for this demonstration of the different crimp beads and ways to use them. I appreciate the info regarding the silver crimps being more secure - I hadn’t heard about that before but it makes sense.
I love your personality when doing these videos!! I just starting making jewelry a few months ago with decoupage and wood. But this week I started using the gemstones. This video has been so informative and detail oriented that I am more at ease about branching out to make more jewelry pieces for my business. Thank you so much!!
Love watching you do these! It's just like visiting with for real. The floating necklace, with those very handy cut straw spacers and crimp- bead- crimp beauties! I'm fascinated by your color changing nails! Where'd you get that?
Thanks Rose for an informative and entertaining tutorial on crimp beads! I've never used chain before but after watching your tutorial, I might consider using it in the future instead of wire.
I am watching eleven months after your Live but it is perfect timing for me! 😊 I am getting ready to figure out what to order and your crimp tutorial was so helpful! I have a few magnetic clasps because I personally need those since I have issues with other clasps, but, yes the magnet wants to stick to the needle nose pliers! 😮 What a challenge. But worth it!
I wish I had seen something like this a couple weeks ago, but nevertheless, this will help me in the future! Thanks for the tute, the joyful laughter, the singing and I hope you catch you live!
I’ve never beaded anything before and I’m about to start on a big project - this was so helpful! Your energy and joy for beading is infectious and is reminding me to just have fun with it 😊
It's almost Aug 10 in a few mins. I love your nails too. I did a floating necklace years ago but I didn't know that is what it was called. I don't remember the type of wire but what i used was a golden wire that seemed like thread. With my skin tone it made the beads look like it was on an invisible wire. I really enjoyed watching your video you sound so fun.
I love your videos! This was very informative. I have trouble easily closing jump rings so I’m going to look for your video on that! You are so informative and fun to watch and listen to!
I love real life creating videos. Everything doesn’t have to be exactly picture perfect. I learned a lot!! I had no idea there were that many different types of covers!
Thanks so much for watching! We have some great options for crimp covers and crimp pliers on our website, so let us know if you have any questions. We would love to help! 😊
I am so engrossed watching and reading the closed captions as I have trouble hearing - so I can’t write comments as you go. But I love your videos and find them incredibly helpful! Come give some weekend or weeklong in-person workshops in NYC. I bet you have a huge, albeit not commenting, following here!
Thanks for the informative video! It was fun watching you. I do more jewelry repair, but often need to find a way to tighten a sagging necklace. I'll definitely check out your store for items I can use.
Thank you for this. Wish I had these videos when I first started beading. But I have managed. I love sterling crimp beads, and wire guards. Never seen the screw crimps. I will check those out. Big fan of Fire Mountain!
I was told sterling silver crimps were the most secure by a trusted store. They really are the most secure. Well worth the cost.
The sterling silver crimps are great! 😊
Thank you so much. Great video. I have no experience but learning is so much fun and with every video I feel more comfortable.
❤
Thanks for watching!@@donnamoore7554

Definitely not true..this grandmother has made jewelry for 50 years..tube ones are the most sturdy..not necessarily silver but tunes always are best
Your instructions are a gift to an ADHD learner ❤
