I am normally NOT a seed beader but seeing some of the bracelets has really made me want to give it a try. Really looking forward to the tutorials on those bracelets!!
Hi Christy! That's wonderful to hear! I love that it really inspired you to try something that you are not normally into. I'll come back with more tutorials soon. Thanks for watching! 💜
OMG ! three years later i find this AMAZING video tutorial for the most gorgeous necklaces and bracelets (earrings too ) made out the gemstone chips i have a ton of ...i'm getting busy today
WOW, fantastic ideas. I will be watching this again. Chunky beads, large hole beads and chip gem stones are all challenging for me. Thank you so much. HAPPY THANKSGIVING- Blessings
What a cool and smart way to use the flower charm links, to double them up in the white chip necklace! To spend 5 minutes in your brain would be a joy!
You say your ideas don't come easy?I think your very creative. I have had gemstone chips for almost 7 years just not knowing what to do with them, well because of your video, I'm finally going to use them all up. The bracelets and earrings & necklaces are so pretty, thank you for all your ideas! Beautiful work!
All the pieces are very cute...Especially the pink bracelet and the collar made with the cord. Thanks for sharing. These videos are very inspirational.
Hi Gina, you are definately an asset to the jewelry making community. Your designs are always so beautiful and I always look forward to your tutorials. Keep up the wonderful job. You are an inspiration and a joy to watch. Thanks for all your beautiful work.
Hi Diane! Thank you so much for your sweet comment. I am so happy to have you here, and so happy that you have been enjoying all of the videos I have been putting out. It's my pleasure to share these things with you. Thanks so much for watching! 💜
I LOVED everyone of your designs but I must say my absolute fav was the boho necklace. I am a teenager of the 70's so anything boho will immediately be my favorite. I just recently came across your videos & they are totally amazing! THX for sharing your talents!!
Great ideas! I really liked the amethyst cluster ear rings and the amethyst necklace. And the shell necklace is also gorgeous. I loved how you used the flowers in pairs so it doesn't matter if they get flipped over.
Thank you Gina. Never used the chips. I have been blessed with a gift of beading supplies( stash) that just was no longer wanted. There's chips in there!!! I had no ideas for them. Then Gina to the rescue!! You have inspired me see them in a different light.
I saw this video some time ago.... I have been asked to redo a gemstone chip necklace as they were bored with it I’m so glad I remembered this video....thank you
If I could give three thumbs up I would. My faves are the multi strand bracelets, the rose quartz bracelet, the cluster necklace and the last necklace!! Wonderful ideas 🤗
Oh my gosh Gina, EVERYTIME, I watch your finished up jewelry videos, I’m in clapping mode. Love all your 10 ideas for chip stones. Thank you again for your videos!! You really do rock Gina!!!! 👏👏
You are absolutely right Laurie, I've never seen Gina's videos before and she is such a brilliant jewellery maker. All these pieces are outstandingly beautiful. WOW Gina!
You do beautiful work. I ♥️♥️♥️the black brick stitch bracelet. I have 11 14-16” strands of 2-2.5 faceted black spinel I have no clue what to do with. I’m very much a beginner & have sooo many supplies with no idea what to do with. I have 4 strands of matte rough gemstone beads I also have creative block with. Thank you for your video 🤩
Thanks, Roberta! I love using the tiny faceted gemstone beads like that in place of similar sized fire polish beads sometimes. They also look great on fringe earrings due to the bit of sparkle. I hope this helps! :)
I don't know if you'll see this but I thought I'd found a pretty good deal on a kit like this until I took a look at the Amazon link for the chip beads and it's a better deal plus the stones are 7mm-8mm instead of starting at 5mm-8mm. I don't even know how they put a hole in the ones that are 3mm-5mm so hopefully I'll have a set closer in size thanks to you. Plus the set comes with aquamarine which is my mom's and my birthstone so hopefully I'll be able to learn how to make something simple by the time March gets here. Thanks again!!!! You're stuff is beautiful!!!
Plus the one I was going to get only had 8 colors and I'm pretty sure the clearer colors were fake and this company seems to have a great reputation to I'm hoping they are real like they seem to be. I know it's an oddball favorite but I am absolutely in love with fluorite (sp?)!!!! Polished or rough, it has so many variations in color its amazing!!!!! Thank you for taking the time to share your talent and knowledge!!!
Oh My Gosh Gina, ALL these pieces are sooo beautiful, you're amazing! I mean WOW! I love all the different ways in which you used the gemstone chip beads. I've always loved the nice, big chips that are available, but I've never known what to do with the small ones. But you've given me a ton of ideas with this video. I have to say that the Rose Quartz Bracelet with the small, matching, pale pink Czech glass flower beads is just SO STUNNING AND ELEGANT! That was the perfect way to include something different, but subtle, to the rose quartz. I'm in awe,I really am. Lots of love from Amanda in Australia xoxoxoxox
You are truly gifted!!! Please, please, please do tutorials on ...... EVERYTHING! Pah-Leez?!? I am sure other beginners (like me 🙋🏽♀️) would definitely appreciate and support Orchid and Opal Jewelry Making for Beginners. Everything is just gorgois (as Mally the make-up would say). Please and thank you.
Hey Robbin! I love your comment, you totally made me smile!!! I will keep the tutorials coming as quickly as my little fingers can get them out to you beautiful viewers! I promise, I'll keep a good mix of basics and more complex, and I won't forget you beginners! 💜💜💜Thanks so much for watching!
Wow! I have to say great job! You have a great eye for color and design! I’ve not been a huge fan of gemstone chips, but I would wear any of your 10 creations! Great job. No wonder these companies are always sending you stuff!
You really nailed it Gina! the bracelets, esp the rose quartz one have a graceful almost fairy quality to them. I just thought everything you did served to enhance the gemstones' colour and quality. Kudos for rising to the challenge and can't wait for the tutorials!
Hi Carol! Thank you so much! I was really trying to do that; show off the different gems in their own way, and elevate them beyond basic stringing. I appreciate you watching! 💜
You are just so doggone creative--thank you so much for sharing your ideas with us!! Every piece is absolutely beautiful in its own little way. Very clever trick with the one sided flower connectors.
I love chip beads! They’re an automatic “screwup fixer”! Any beading that looks a little wonky-throw some chip beads in there to fill it in or even to contrast it-it makes it look beautiful! I also love to make the various tree pendants using only chips...I make my own frame and tree, then use the chips to signify whatever a person may want...(4 seasons, family birthstones, etc). Then, of course, I make any other wire additions (moon, swing, flower, etc), check again that all wire ends are secure, cut, hidden, not poking, polish it all up, & that’s that! I am going to “borrow” your idea of using the concave metal [rose] findings back to back & attaching with a jump ring, if you don’t mind! Now THAT might be cool to back with chip beads or even seed beads! 🤔 I wonder...
Hi, dear Gina! I keep saying, you always surprise me with beautiful new jewelry designs & ideas, and how to combine and play with gemstones, and beads in general. My favorites are the bracelets, specialty the pink quartz with little flowers, and the cluster necklace! Thanks much for sharing your beauties! GOD bless you always _/o\_ ♡
Wow! You seem to always surprise me with your beautiful jewelry. Eva (my g'daughter 7) & I love them all. Thank you for sharing your video's. We love you from Arizona.😊
Love all of your creations! It’s hard to pick a favorite item. I love the purple cluster earrings and all of the bracelets, and the cluster necklace with the leather cord. You’re so creative and such a great designer!
I always look forward to watching your videos. Your ideas inspire me. I have been making jewellery for a few years now and its always wonderful to find more inspiration. As you know sometimes inspiration hits frequently but sometimes i find myself struggling so thank you for your videos!
Hi Amanda! It's always great to get a fresh dose of inspiration, isn't it?! We can never take inspiration for granted because I know all too well, it can come and go. When we have it, we have to take full advantage whenever possible. I am glad that I could inspire you, and you enjoyed the pieces! Thanks so much for your kind comment, and for watching! 💜
I loved these! You make amazing jewelry. Fav- 💜 Amethyst Earrings 💜. And the long necklace. And the rainbow 🌈 set. I live in Florida- it would be lovely here. 😃
These pieces are gorgeous. I have had gemstone chips in my stash for a long time and had no idea what to do with them, so this video is definitely inspiring. I would love to see a tutorial on how you made the multi strand pieces using the brick stitch. I am curious to see how you did that. I know that I have told you this several times, but it truly does make my day much brighter when that bell rings on my phone telling me that you have posted a new video. Awesome job as usual.
Hi Lynn! Knowing that I inspire you, and that it makes you happy when the notification comes up, truly makes MY day! You all keep me creating, and inspired to share. I knew I wasn't the only one who struggled with ideas for using the gemstone chips in a way that elevated their look. It was a great exercise for me, and I am so glad it is helpful to so many others as well. More tutorials added to my list, and coming as soon as I can crank them out! ;-) 💜 Thanks again!
Oh, you are so sweet!! I am so glad you enjoyed, and I totally know what you mean about hating chips before. I am happy to say I look at them differently now, and so glad you can too. Thank you so much for watching! 💜
Wow!!! So many fabulous and inspiring jewelry pieces! Each piece is beautiful and unique. I love the rose quartz and flower bracelet--so gorgeous! Love the boho necklace too! Great tip for putting the connectors back to back! TFS and I hope you have a wonderful week! 💕
Hi Willow! I am so glad that you love the rose quartz bracelet as well. I look forward to sharing how I created it in the near future, so stay tuned. Thanks so much for watching! 💜
Great job! I can’t wait for the brick stitch tapered tutorials what a great idea for multiple strand bracelets using a standard clasp. I’m really interested in learning the rose quartz bracelet technique too! Gemstone chips are so challenging but you came up with some really creative ways to use them! Yay! I have lots of them and am psyched to try these once you do those tutorials!
Hey there! I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed the ideas and different ways to use these challenging chips! I knew I wasn't the only one who struggled more with those shapes, so I think it's great to be able to see so many different ways they can be used, beyond basic stringing. They really can be fun and beautiful! I will crank out more tutorials soon. Thanks for watching! 💜
awesome pieces...I do have a small stash of gemstone chip beads in assorted colors...you just gave me some ideas thanks, I always look forward to your tutorials...2 thumbs up..
Hi Joselyn! I certainly was, and I hope it helped others as well. So fun to do a little challenge like that and see all of the ways something can be used. I may have to do a part 2 in the future. Thanks for watching! 💜
Wow, Gina, you really rocked the chips! All of your pieces are beautiful and I love them all, especially the rose quartz bracelet and the aquamarine and leather necklace. I've always shied away from using chips but I have 1 strand of turquoise chips that a friend gave me years ago and they've been collecting dust ever since. I'd played with them a few times but I hadn't come up with a design that made me happy so I put them back in my stash to collect more dust. Thanks to you sharing this video I'm inspired to rescue that one lonely strand...and introduce it to leather ;)
Thankyou Gina! Terrific ideas! I have made some single strand chip bracelets (on wire) mixing chips with balls. These look lovely and organic and you only need to string 4 to 5 chips together at a time (they fit together easily this way) as they are then seperated by a ball bead. Crystal Quartz balls look great to seperate pastel coloured chips. You can also use metal beads to seperate the chips.
Wow! Thank you for the all of the ideas. I have tons of gemstone chips. Love the thumb ring, and found your video for that. Also love the tiny hole punch, it's just what I've been looking for. Thank you!!
Hi Cindy! You are very welcome. I am so glad that the ideas are helpful for you! It is even count flat peyote using 11/0 delicas. I have a tutorial on a striped version of it, but it sounds like you might already be familiar with peyote? Thanks so much for watching! 💜
Ha ha, I was editing my comment while you were replying. Yes, I know how to do flat even count Peyote and I found your video for the ring. :-) Thanks for sharing your tips on bead storage, etc. I'm visual too, and keep my beads in clear acrylic boxes with non-movable compartments and keep the boxes on a shelf, and frankly, it's a pain because I have to stack them. TY
Hi Amanda! I am so glad it could help give you some ideas. I knew I wasn't the only one who struggled a bit with the gemstone chips. Thanks for watching! 💜
Hi Gina, I love the rose quart bracelet. They are really pretty. The last necklace is really cool it is really summer. Thank you for sharing. I love the cool ideas that you come up with i wish i could do it.
OMG I have a ton of rose quartz and black obsidian chips and had no clue what to do with them! I would LOVE to see a tutorial on that rose quartz bracelet, it is beautiful!! Also the black bracelet! I get so intimidated by projects with tons of headpin dangles as my wirework pretty much sucks ☹️ I am SO glad I found your channel Gina, you are so talented and creative I love all your work. Thank you very much for another great video! Danielle 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😍
Hi Danielle! I am so glad to hear that I can inspire you, and that you enjoy my videos. You all truly keep ME creating and sharing with your wonderful support, and I am so grateful to have such awesome viewers like you to keep me so motivated. I will definitely do tutorials (as soon as I possibly can) for that rose quartz bracelet, and the black obsidian multi-strand bracelet. Thanks so much for your kind words, and for watching! 💜

That's so awesome, Shirley! I'm glad you're feeling inspired 💜

Thanks so much for watching! 💜
Very nice your ideas. I' am really happy to be your site. See you from El Perú South America.
Thanks so much for watching, Julia! 💜😁
Love your ideas, I have tons of different natural chips. I'm gonna try to get busy now. Thanks for sharing
I am so glad to hear it, Pam! Thank you!
i loved that last necklace the "Boho" i think you called it, so beautiful!
Hi Lilian! I am so happy to hear that. Thanks for watching!! 💜
I like all of them! You were definitely inspired!!! Great job Gina!!👍
Hi Rosie! I totally get it because I had felt very similarly about them. I am so happy this video was helpful for you! Thanks for watching! 💜
Thank you Gina. Fantastic video. Loads of great ideas. I would love if you could do a video on how to make the
Brick stitch bracelet 💕
Thanks, Annete! I have the video tutorial available for that one here: th-cam.com/video/1JDHy9OG4CI/w-d-xo.html
I love that idea, Mark! Thanks so much for sharing! 💜💜💜
Wow! Sooo many clever and creative pieces, you are amazing! Especially love the rose quartz bracelet and would love a tut on it!
I am so glad you enjoyed all of the pieces and ideas! I will crank out more tutorials very soon. I really appreciate you watching! 💜
TY
Oh I really appreciate this video as I always have trouble knowing what to do with gemstone chips...love all your wonderful pieces. xox
Hi Amanda! I am so glad it could help give you some ideas. I knew I wasn't the only one who struggled a bit with the gemstone chips. Thanks for watching! 💜

OMG I have a ton of rose quartz and black obsidian chips and had no clue what to do with them! I would LOVE to see a tutorial on that rose quartz bracelet, it is beautiful!! Also the black bracelet!
