I have set in my computer bios to auto start when the power is detected, I am also using a smart plug which I can set the the time to turn on, and the computer does turn on. using a a app on IPHONE works great, I do manual switch off the computer. no need for fancy USB switches.

Cool. Good to know there are other solutions out there. Might not work for someone that only has one outlet though and wanting to connect multiple other things like a lamp, printer and various other things. Would not want those on a timer or app.

Why are u pointing the remote to the mobo? its 2,4Ghz not infra red.
