  • Hamstring strains and the bruising and color changes that can happen after. Why does a bruise change color as it heals?
Logan Paul reportedly suffered a hamstring injury while competing in the Challenger Games and has shared some pretty wild pictures of the bruising. This video will be an overview of the evolution of bruising and what evidence supports or goes against Logan Paul's injury being real or staged.

I had this recently happen to my right leg after working out on my rower. I usually feel it in my hamstrings when doing it. The difference I think was that I exercised (did not stretch out, I know, dumb) in the morning instead of my usual evening routine. After I finished, I had the most excruciating cramp I ever had that would not go away even by trying to walk it out! That evening I saw a bruise similar to Logans, except it, was on the back of my leg near the knee bend. I freaked out and thought I had a clot and my blood vessels blew out or something!

Hello everyone hope your all doing well, I’ve never seen one of these videos before but it just recommended. Recently when I’ve been playing sports when I plant my left foot I feel a sharp stabbing pain or like a bubble popping pain at the bottom of my foot at the arch. I don’t know what is causing this and I don’t know how to make it better or what to do. Is it because my footwear is inappropriate eg. Shoes too small or big or is it something else. If any one could help that would be greatly appreciated.

It has been happening for 2 months like literally every week or 2,3 times a week by Hong Kong during the protests. Erythema and blisters are presented where the skin is exposed.

Never thought I’d come to this guy’s defense but I’m inclined to believe Paul. Not because of any expertise but because it fits well with my own anecdotal evidence. Basically I suffered the same thing, it started with an awkward hit/fall in hockey and I continued playing on the injured leg for about a week until I couldn’t get out of my car after a soccer game.
There was no single “pull up” moment, just a degrading injury. I was diagnosed with partial tears in quad and hamstring, and the bruising/bleeding pattern was pretty similar to Paul’s - a lot of pooling on both sides of leg, some trickling up, a gap, and then more pooling at the top of my leg on either side. The front had less of a gap and the back of my leg had a large gap and two distinct pooling areas similar to here.

He said that he pulled it 120 seconds before getting onto the track. When he was on the field that's when he did it. You can see him suddenly jump up as if he wrecked it hammie but he tried to play it off, you can then see him walking around trying to feel it out.

But its the fact that this bruise is a result in a hamstring tear that makes it un-playable. Sure it takes some balls to play NFL football when you're already bruised that severely but the hamstring is in-tact, just some damaged blood vessels which cause swelling and pain as well as some damaged tissue which makes it difficult to move
