Having Drone Issues (Hubsan Zino Pro)

- Occasionally my drone will start flying in circles on its own while hovering. The longer it does that, the wider the circles get until I turn it around, then it usually figures itself out. It usually starts flying in circles when I fly it to the east and then hover it.
After I turn it around, the gimbal keeps turning and sometimes the drone also yaws slowly. The gimbal has always had that problem, but it gets worse after it flies in circles.
It also likes to fly diagonally for some reason which it always has done, but it seems to be worse now.
I've tried reinstalling the firmware, re calibrating and changing a slightly damaged propeller, but nothing seems to work.
I still really like this drone. It flies nicely and it's easy to control (when it behaves), and it records great footage, but it seems to have a mind of its own. Even more lately.

Hey thanks for this video. You should have another video of the drone without the TBE (toilet bowl effect). I just recently got a zino pro. It came with v1.0.20. It flew amazingly stable. I upped to v1.0.23 and started getting TBE every flight. I downgraded back to v1.0.20 and issue has gone away in 3 test flights. If I get it again I will go to v1.0.18. Video was a life saver since I can't find much on zino pro on the interwebs. Thank you again to all who helped!!!
Install 1.0.20, go to middle of a big field do all calibrations fly around for 5 mins high low , come back land shut props down keep switched on do calibrations again make sure controller is in line of drone fly again and see difference. worked for me
I have exactly the same problems with my zino pro. In addition, the balance charger module is also defective (it doesn't charge the batteries any more, red lights are blinking every 1 second).
I will do the fw downgrade to 1.0.18.
I had this exact behaviour on my Hubsan Zino 1 in both FC 1.2.03 and FC 1.2.05. I haven't seen it since my upgrade to 1.2.08.
At least it's still talking to the controller. It's a Hubsan product what do you expect. My Zino 2 has been junk.
It was fine before so something new must be causing it to behave oddly. It was doing better on the last flight I did so hopefully it figured itself out. I'm still happy with it, but it definitely seems to have a mind of its own.
@@kilaueaproductions4210 My zino 2 flew away after a firmware update and luckily it hit a tall tree to stop it. I will never touch another Hubsan product.
My Zino had the same problem sometimes and yerterday it get lost in the mountains. I will not buy a Hubsan drone again.
Interesting. I wonder if Hubsan can fix the issue with a firmware update.

If you are running the latest version of the firmware did you try and reinstall an earlier version?

If that does not work download an rearlier version and go through the same process
can you specify the firmware ? the 1.0.18 is good
It's 1.0.20.
I just realized there was an update. I'm installing it now.

I see You have not been able to record with audio. Me neither.
Try FC Firmware 1.0.18. I had over 90 flights with no Problem. After update to 1.0.20 i had toilet bowl circles in almost every flight. After downgrade to 1.0.18 it goes great like before. It also circles with 1.0.23. go back to 1.0.18 and it will fly great again.
How do I download older firmware? I've only seen the most recent version on Hubsan's website.
