- There's an order of operations when it comes to chopping a roof... especially if you want to make it look good. The first step was lining up the B-pillar, then we manipulated the back to fit the belt line. Now we need to make the rear quarter window fit. This step is crucial for making the chop look good and guess what?... we nailed it 😏

I love how you do not hasatàte to start chopping a car and you did this Plymouth so quick with just a bar minimum of cuts so many other people would have over though it and made a mess out of it I think your confidence level is way above average you have chopped so many different types of car that you make it look so simple and you look at the job different then the average person does you know when you make a cut where the panels are going to land and I know your all about doing it as fast as you possibly can and if you had ever been nervous it sure does not show or if you ever second guessed I could never tell great job Chad and Jolene. I am very impressed with this hope great job again guys can't waite to see tĥè a Pilars and windshield done I'll see yall tomorrow night

Instead of cutting the piece for the window to length cut about half from the bottom and half from the top. Then the piece is closer to the same size and gaps will be smaller. Also could take from narrow end and split it on bottom . Split on the flat and make body lines match then fill the gap in the flat area. I know everyone does it different. That's just 2 ways I'd consider doing it.

Chad u did a great job on the chop I have the same one my windshield folds out cost me 1200 dollars to have glass put in it.then I put the vent back in but it just swings back and forth if I had a picture of it then I could see how it goes together and works I'd be in good shape I'm sure I have the peaces somewhere if I knew what they look like and where they're under the vent it would take Jolene 30 seconds to video it would really help me out Chad I watch all your videos so I could check it out then thank u so much ken from auburn wa

Fitting these window sections demonstrates your incredible skill - it's really entertaining to watch. Please knock those roof dents out for me - they're driving me crazy, can't help but be distracted by them 😂😂😂

Chad this is just a comment. The back window would definitely look better if it was bigger. The negative side is it would be more work,but a 2” bigger window might be nice and look better. The side rear window looks good
I kinda like the chops that have a mailbox slot back window. Getting ready to do an A and I’m planning on a small rear window. Just like the look. To each his own I guess.

I have to say it looked very cool when the windshield was lower but to make it bigger by laying it back was sharp I like to see out the front as well. Nice bud

I still say those back fenders and running boards off that car next to the hoist and find a set of front fenders and make a hood and painted it like the California kid car for the flame s anyone with a big enought printer can make them like a wrap you have the luever maker to put them in the hood it would look cool and then you could give it to me hahahehe I am short so I would fit

You should think about lowering the engine mounts. It would really help on the interior and floor.
Chad is a master chopper! Makes it looks easy, which is what masters do. Really coming together nicely. Metal work this nice deserves a nice paint job! How about a candy color !

No one believes you're good at welding just because you make comments about welding that you think makes you look like you know something. Even my 5 year old knows rust makes it hard but if you would look and listen the metal is so thin it pointless to clean.

Chad, you bought a new welding helmet and didn't get auto dark?
Auto-darkening helmets do away with the head bobbing flip. I wasn't even interested in welding until auto dark was invented. The continuity of your vision really makes it easier.
I do the same thing though. I have an auto darkening helmet but I like to open the lid so I can see what I’m doing better. Too tinted for my old a$$ eyes.
