I too like the look of the taller windshield frame. I think it looks more sinister like a smaller head with bigger aggressive eyes kind look. Looking good Chad and Jolene, keep-er-chooin Hiltz Auto Co. Thank you for your content, I enjoy it!
Despite my earlier misgivings, this chop is starting to look so much better than I originally thought it would. Providing a wee bit more forward vision through the front by transplanting a windscreen frame from another car is a clever idea. Well done Chad and Jolene!
Thank you for giving Chad a compliment when he deserves it. Too many people on this channel only look for something to pick on and run him down. You are a true trooper and I thank you for that. ✌🏼😊
@@BruceWitcpalek-ws1rh Thank you! I was worried when Chad said he was going to chop the roof by 4" because I could foresee the forward view through the windshield was going to be very cramped. I live in the arid west where cars don't rust, but I'd still probably spray the entire car with Gibbs. The great thing with Gibbs is that the surface is still paintable after being sprayed with it, but it will preserve the metal. The car can always be painted in the future if one changed their mind and wanted to paint it though.

This car absolutely has patina and it looks badass. I'd personally just spray it with Gibbs which is similar to WD40 but leaves zero sticky residue behind. The amazing thing is that it's still a paintable surface after it is sprayed with Gibbs. Incredible stuff. I spray all of my magnesium wheels with it.
At that point of no paint I’d say it’s more rat rod than patina. As someone else already said it’ll just end up in a shipping container if not in the yard it’ll never see the road.
Bad Chad the chopper! Back at it again!! 😂
