For Sure !
Just imagine If everybody had an uncle like BOB!
It's a fun journey watching you learning and working with fiberglass. You are brilliant Bob!
Looking Good Bob
Looks great Bob
Nice work Bob!!
Looking Great ! It’s a Rat Rod !
Great work Bawb you're getting IT
Excellent work Bob. I'm diggin it.
i see why you chose this body to work with. the way they chopped it and raked it really has some beautiful body lines on it. now that the door is hung, i can really see the beauty you are creating!
Thanks! The 33-34 Ford Coupe build is a dream come true for this country boy. Been waiting for the day to see the doors fitting ... next milestone will be the front cap.
Fine job Bob !
Like makin' a silk purse outta' a sows ear,
from two different sows (or kits)🐷
Thanks for workin' through all that heat & humidity...👍🏁
Awesome work Bob!
I used to work on fibreglass life boats here in Norway, and I just hate that stuff! I get itchy just when someone mentions fibreglass!
Dam Bob there's nothing you can't do good job thanks for bringing us along with you
Fine job you be riding soon Bob thanks for sharing
Looking good bob fiberglass is a pain in the ass to work with.
Outstanding results master at work
Looks so good Bob. I’ve built a lot of aircraft simulators out of fiberglass, your doing a great job. Another fantastic build in progress. You are getting it. Stay safe in that Mississippi heat. ✌️😎👍
Hey Bawb, Looks like you figured it out and r gettin er done!!!!
You must have the patience of a saint bob, ya gittin it 👍
Try using thin aluminum sheet for molds. The glass won't stick and you can peel off the aluminum. Works great.
Looks good keep on keeping on
Getting it done ✔️
I watch many different guys build cars but in the end I would not buy one after seeing how they deal with issues and overall details and quality! I would however be interested in talking to you about buying this hot rod!
Fuk yeah BOB you build stuff 🤘🤘
Money!
Bob I own a 34 and you are doing a GREAT JOB ! Just curious, where do you keep all those cars you have built or do you not keep them?
I only have the Mini Chopper, the JunkYard Dog and of course Dirty John which is at Wesley's. The others I have let slip away. You can follow me on FaceBook to see them still in action here: facebook.com/bob.coates.9693
Looking good Rat Rod Bob.💯🇺🇸✊👍
I think yer doin' arrett Bob. Or whatever you said.😅
Hey it's not done yet! Hot rods are never done!
I would cut over the belt line and make it fit the body , doors are cheap . Haha
Hey Rat Rod Bob ! I thought you were building a rat rod. What is all this fine tuning stuff.
I hear ya ... I keep asking myself the same question. Just gitter dun!
Bond some rusty metal on it to fool people.
Really good work, Bob.Thanks for letting me watch.
Glass Rodding Bob!!!! Amazing How You Have Saved These Mismatched Part's!!!
Keep Rocking It Out Brother!!!
Doing great work here for a supposed fiberglass rookie Bob, Glass Rat is coming right along!
I like this project... Completely different and unique!
You are kicking that 34 's butt ! Great work .
Bob I'm always impressed with whatever your building. Fabrication isn't easy. Lot's of patience! 👍
Must be hard at times. Can't just beat it into submission! Don't know if you like to work with the material or not. But you are working with it fine, it seems. What does Red think?
Where's Red?
Id say your doing a fine job Bob, getting those doors into shape took some time and work but your fabrication is awesome, I'm diggin it
Hey Bob, the doors are the hardest thing on the car to get right. You are the master.
Bob, you're definitely not a one trick pony. You can do it all, Boss.
Bob, you work in fiberglass and metal like some artists work in clay.
looking real good Bob... Might be the best one yet!
Looks really good. The steel ones are never, without a million hours of work, perfect. Your gettin', very close. Keep goin',,,,,,DUBS,,,,,
You know me, I ain't afraid to cut something.
Makes me laugh every time you say that Bob.
Looking good Bawb. I like your attention to detail👍👍👍
Well ...I am very impressed with your progress on these doors. Everything was mismatched, the wrong size, askew, jillflirted and whopperjawed. I'd say once you whoop these doors into shape, you are qualified to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.
What if you like sows ears?
She's looking good Bob!! I hate to think what August is gonna feel like!! Keep cool and we Preciate ya Professor !!!
You’re doing good Bob!!
I remember using fiberglass primer before paint. It said on the can to use it in a well ventilated area. So I used it outside. No wind that day. Ended up sick with the biggest headache ever for two days. My buddy was sick too. We had no mask. But the paint stuck really good later
This build is coming along nicely, you certainly are a master of builds 👍.
Hey Bawb,
Ya have become a fiberglass wizard !
Those doors, in fact the whole car is lookin like it is post to.
You are gonna be lookin for another project afor the first snow fall.
looks good bob = you doing a bang up job on them doors--
Looking good Bob, you're getting there.
Looking good Bob 👍👍
Bobby Slowly but surly , You becomming a Glass Man .
Looking good Bob ! Day off with pay ! Put Red to work lol😂 !!
You are getting it. I thought the doors were going to be a problem but, you have almost whipped them!
Awesome job bob👍
That's some fitment right there ! Great work Bob 👍
Doors are coming along. Thanks for sharing with us.
Buy a kit car and just bolt it together🤣
Coming along nicely Bob Great job
She is looking good. The fiberglass is a whole new game in itself. Nice work!
Awesome work! Keep it up.
Bob your the man!!
Nice job Bob!
Good job Bob. Coming right along. My 29 is painted and liscenced
Hey Bob you got those doors looking really good. Lots of work but man! Starting to look like a mean hotrod. Keep up the great work and stay cool with a glass of good ole sweet tea. To darn hot down there take care brother 👍🏻
Looking nice Bob, you just aint there yet! But I know you will pretty quick at the rate you are knocking it out!!
Just found your channel, B'Azz! I love the Falcon, Comet, Cyclone, whatever, it's awesome, beautiful body rake. You are going to by me new virtual YT friend.
Bob do you ever put stuff together for the purpose of continuing the early rat rod spirit? Rat rods started to be cheap. You just got back from the war and had no or little money and they bought cheap unwanted cars, many from the 30’s because antiques had no market then and they got engines and body parts from wherever and put something together and it has since been seen as an art but the art needs to move forward. We are in 2024, all the “rat rod” channels only want to use replica 30’s chassis and replica 30’-50’s cabs and it’s like you all follow the same script. Chip this body roof this far, put this steering kit on this chassis etc etc etc etc etc. Anyone out there turning 95 wranglers into something of value? Or 2000 model pickup cabs? I get it them early ratrods we’re awesome but the 30’s cabs have all dried up. I don’t want to pay $3000+ for a cab, $4000+ for a chassis and however much more for the parts to make it move and stop and steer. Just wondering if there’s a reason everyone keeps doing exactly the same thing.
You're doing good, but what's red? Think about it. But he's not working at fiberglass. Itchy itchy.
Hey bob, you know what would be cool ( and red would love) is an off road rat rod! Like with big tires and Kc lights and whatnot. But hey, sweet build, I Learn something every time I watch your videos
Spectacular job considering what you started with and where it is now. Those are crazy temps. Look forward to more on the '34 Coupe. Be safe and stay well.
Bout time. I look for you Brother Bob. Best background music out here. Not to mension the builds. 🤜🏽💥🤛🏼👍🏻✌️
For someone that had no prior experience with ‘glass, you sure catch on fast. You are doing some very calculated work.
Gonna call you the “‘Glass Whisperer “
Hey Bob when I was messing with fiberglass on my pirouette I wet sanded everything. Messy as hell but no mask dust free. You don't want to be breathing that. Hey we love you man. Just so you know. There's that.
I like the way you look at things, especially when you said I’m not scared to cut anything, looking forward to seeing the results. Thanks bob.
I know that Diff from Rat Rods of Africa watches your stuff. Don't know how to get in touch with him but hopefully he will read this. Love his content and wish him a speedy recovery. I miss watching his content.
Impressed with your fiberglass work. Completely reshape those doors with a saw n a little fiberglass.
Yea working in the mornings here in Texas is the thing too Bob. By 2 its time to find some cool air.
but hey, Your hot rod is coming along just fine.
The heat is putting me behind on my projects too. 73 Camaro and a 87 LS swapped Silverado.
Love ya man. Hello from Colorado. Keep the good work sir. It ain't metal but your working right through it.
You're doing a great job working with the fiberglass big block hot rod.
Custom fiberglass doors require a lot of finaglin'

Looking forward to see you put the windows and regulators in. Im diggin it Bawb.
Cool stuff! E enjoyed watching ✌️😎
Looks great Bob, that work isn't the easiest, it's the hardest. Take a long break and cool down.
its prolly to late to say, but window regulators from a mini cooper work really well in chopped cars with thin doors. and they are on the shelf parts. i love the way work through problems. keep it up
