    Using S23 and S23 ultra last 8 months and it was smooth wonderful experience till now. Never got any hiccups on these devices nor a single software glitch i have faced till now. Few feature on these devices like call recording, watching TH-cam without annoying ads and zoom capability and dex mode makes these devices indispensable for me.😊😊

    10:07. I like that you have 11:11 on the screen. Over the years that number keeps coming up for me, over and over again. A good sign, I think. AND ---- I like your dog. Thank you for addressing the heating issue. I was wondering whether it had been resolved.

    • @AlexGTech
      @AlexGTech  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh thank you so much! Yeah, fun fact: I was abou to record it and I noticed the time was 11:09. So I waited 2 minutes just to get 11:11 🤣 Yeah the iPhone does get really hot still, but the error message is gone. I am wondering if Apple actually fixed it or simply removed the error. 🤔 More testing is needed, will make sure to keep it up to date here.

    The issue with iPhone for me that I will never switch is that you cannot have two apps open at the same time and video apps like youtube, twitch do not have the picture in picture mode. I think it must be a must when you are using the most 'powerful' A17 Pro processor.
    I am really happy with my S23 Ultra and S20 FE. 😁

      2. To turn on, tap Start PiP Automatically.

    It’s actually the last software update to blame for the overheating. When I updated my iPhone 14 pro max a few days ago my phone started overheating although that was never the case before. It’s not the new phones fault but the software’s. looking forward to the next update so I get rid of the issue , although I am soon getting my 15 pro max 😢

    My 15 Pro Max dropped from 92% to 78% in about 20 minutes the other day with zero explanation. It's been totally fine for me otherwise except for some weird setup issues when I first unboxed the phone. Battery has in general been maybe SLIGHTLY better than the 14 Pro Max. I'd be lying though if I said that aside from the camera I didn't prefer my Z Fold 5 in literally every way.

  • @medounelo4417
    @medounelo4417 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    When u talk about the iPhone there’s almost no gimmicks to talk about… the phone pushes u to talk only about concrete things because that’s what it is about. I have a fold 4 along with an iPhone but I don’t like the feeling I have with the fold of really a never ending seas of possibilities. So much customization so much things… for someone like me who like to know my hardware and have full control the iPhone experience is better for my sanity 😂. I mean I never waste a minute of the year thinking about what can I make better. With the fold every little avenue can lead u to an endless wandering street. Take launchers for example, I’m so torn between all these amazing ones and then u always have to come back to the default launcher because even tho it’s not the nicest it has the best integration. That’s just one avenue where u can lose those precious minutes of ur life… and there are many more. I can’t live without a foldable anymore but it comes at a price of never ending never quenched thirst. I know none of this made sense but couldn’t put it out another way…

    • @AlexGTech
      @AlexGTech  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think you nailed it on the head, the foldable hardware is incredible, but he does rely a lot on good integration with the software.
      And absolutely, the amount of customisation options we have on Android can be quite overwhelming and sometimes confusing. I’d find it hard to let go of it though, I do so much on them now (S23U and ZF5)

  • @sviraci

    Your videos and the way of presentation are next level ! I'm sure your subs will growth quick.
    i notice that the iphone has also lot things the s23 ultra doesn't have (for example, when i use apple watch and walk away from phone it turns off AOD because not needed so it safes energy) Also when it is in Pocket (not sure if s23 Ultra turn it off in pocket?). and i loved split screen on S23U but in my apps it didnt work properly because there was then scrolling issues or the app struggles with the smaller size. so exactly this apps i needed it on Samsung for splitscreen didnt work and i had also to switch between the apps. both has its pro and cons and are strong devices so winner is the consument ;) Sorry for my bad english

    Good look at the 15 Pro Max and some neat wallpapers 👊🏻Is your optimised charging working yet? Having had mine from release day I would expect it to be doing optimised charging overnight and it's not yet. 👍🏻I think for you, having had such superb Android devices and the foldables too, I don't see how the 15 Pro Max is right for you either. I may well have to splash out on the next Samsung Fold and I know I'd love it already but can never come out of the Apple gear as I do enjoy it all. Cheers 🍻

    I appreciate all tech reviewers take on products for their own personal use/usage; but I don’t expect any “Man Made Products “ to be perfect because that’s not possible with imperfect people who are not able to do such a task now nor ever has. But I do expect that the product be as exceptionally successful for the tasks it’s supposed to handle to a satisfactory reasonably degree. And I love Samsung products and iPhone products and I think each company does an extremely well job in the process and product development they produce and provide. All things can be better but again, it’s a “Man Made Product”, there’s no way it’s going to be perfect that’s utterly impossible for anyone who is human to do so…!!!

    Great video man! How do I make the Siri shortcut for the True Tone times of day? Totally agree with you.

    • @AlexGTech
      @AlexGTech  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! So, to make that shortcut:
      - go to Automation tab, withinthe Shortcuts tab.
      - Click the + sign
      - Select when you want the True Tone to turn on (e.g when Wind Down Starts)
      - In the next screen, search for Set True Tone in the next screen, under new automation
      - The default is ON so leave that like that for the evenings for example.
      Then repeat this, but this time, instead of Wind Down, select Waking up or any other time you like. And instead of ON, set it to turn OFF true tone.
      Hope this helps, I might make a TH-cam shorts about this.

    Years ago I used Samsung only and I didn’t understand iPhone users. Then I moved to a mac ecosystem. Recently I tried to move back to a Samsung as well and I know android varies in different things but oh my I want to strangle the Samsung! The number of pressed and lack of intuitiveness and the fight to make settings stick! Far out!! So my issue I’ve worked out isn’t specs (let’s face it they’re all amazing spec wise and the tend to be as good as or better then lower to mid laptops!) it’s just the basic software. I won’t automatically give up on very slowly learning an android Samsung based system. But I will have my main phone staying on the iPhone irrespective! I don’t want to fight with my phone!! I’m a simple user so I appreciate the more intuitive action of the iPhone.

      I think I know what you mean. I've been predominantly an Apple user but in the last two years I don't know what it was, maybe it was boredom but I think I found a decent setup. The iPhone and ios17 seem to back to being great again, but to me could do with a couple more features. Basic stuff really, like an updated file manager given the prores challenge... and a Stage manager of sorts so that its easy to connect the phone to a monitor if we ever need to. It's a niche thing, I know but I think Apple would win a lot of hearts and minds with that.

Yes, specs are important to me (CPU, GPU, battery, camera)... but what is also very important is the look and feel of the device. I just don't resonate with the new design. Everytime I try to hold the S23 ultra at the store (and believe me, I tried many times because I thought I must be going crazy lol), I just don't like it. Too boxy, annoying curved screen, very sharp corners that dig into your palms. And all in all, something is off with the design, even though it is a premium phone, it doesn't feel like it to me. It feels like a tiny tablet, which I don't want in a phone. I want my phone to look like my phone and my tablet like my tablet. Ergonomic design is a big factor to me because I'm holding my phone for a long time during the day.
    I don't really care about the s pen (never really used it even when I had it on previous Samsung devices) and I've never ever used multitasking, I hate having a split screen on a small smartphone screen. I'd rather have just one big screen. I'm still happy with my S21 ultra (the last design I liked from Samsung) but I'm really debating about switching to apple. Something about the 15 pro max does it for me. Strangely, the opposite reaction can be observed on most other people, who are iPhone users that switch to Android because of the S23 ultra. I guess there are two fundamentally different types of people.

      I totally get that. I have to say I’m with you on the design of the S21 Ultra. I LOVED that phone. I still can’t bring myself to selling it. But the S23U has been such a beast for me. Like you suggest, sometimes a change is all we need, I always try to keep an open mind about this stuff. These are only tools after all. Thanks for sharing this, love hearing different perspectives. Have a great day 🙏🏼

      @@GBamaBoy why would an adult with a job spend time to fabricate something to make Samsung look bad? I have better things to do. By the way, I still like Samsung. I have their TV as well as a Samsung washer and dryer. It's just their recent development in the smartphone segment that doesn't resonate with me anymore.

      I honestly don't think we will ever get 100% perfection. You're right. I just feel like the old Apple wouldn't just ship software as bad as iOS16 was when it first came out for example with lots of bugs, or an iphone with the overheating issues we saw recently.

      Except idk what it rules in. iPhone has the better display, better CPU, battery, camera. And it has its own technologies like facial recognition, satellite connectivity, innovative RAM management for better backgrounding, and a solid UI that Android consistently copies every single year lmao.
      I think Samsung rules in… GPU? I think that’s like the only upper hand it has. But I’m not even entirely sure

      @@Mistygio In real world usage the chip doesn't matter, the battery on the S23 Ultra lasts longer than the pro max, the pro max takes slightly better video while S23 Ultra takes better photos and allows you to control more camera settings. Samsung display is far better and bigger and lets not forget Samsung makes apples display.🤷🏾‍♂️

      @@Mistygio and Samsung copies apple?? 🤣🤣🤣 Please stop with the shanigans. Picture on picture, USB-C, action button, 120 hertz refresh rate, reverse wired/wireless charging has been on Samsung for years lol. Apple just started adding these features. Apple really has people thinking that they invented these features 😂😂😂 that's hilarious. And even with the addition of these features, they still have a lot of catching up to do.
