  • I often times hear from people that have put together a hydraulic clutch for their car and are having a problem with a stiff pedal. There are many causes for this but the two main ones are pedal ratio and hydraulic ratio. If you get either one of these things wrong it can dramatically increase the effort required at the pedal, but with a little knowledge you can easily correct those issues and get a clutch pedal that is easy to work and a car that is pleasure to drive. In this video I explain both concepts so that you can understand how they work and give you the information required to correct any issues you may be having with these two ratios so that you can reduce pedal effort.

Any idea what headers / car is in the 94+ example picture?
1965 Mustang here, and the headers I have are really close. I've massaged the collector so there's about an inch of clearance. Hoping between that and the DEI hear shield on the collector, it will be enough.

20 years of selling them I have only had one person have header clearance issues. He had a set of try ys but I ran a set with no issues so I think it depends on the brand. The headers need to clear the bellhousing so there is a void behind the leading edge for the hydraulic slave and bracket.
Email me through my website and I can send some pix with measurements.

Hello, does the 2-amp variac device with a diode bridge operate the treadmill and not break down?

most treadmill motors are 15-20 amps so a 2 amp variac is going to be WAY to small

Have you ever tried to use some of your kits in older trucks ? I have a 83 F100 so I’m just curious. Looking into doing a 5 speed swap to get rid of the 3 speed no overdrive trans.

I personally have not but I have sold lots of kits to F100 guys not sure the years. usually they buy the universal kit specific to their transmission, the master cylinder and the line kit with the 36" upgrade. Not sure what was involved in mounting the master to the firewall and connecting it to the pedal but I know it can be done.

@@dazecars I’ll definitely be in touch then the 83’s have an outline where the clutch master goes on the firewall. I’ll just need a pedal assembly and a kit. I was just curious. I appreciate the reply !

sounds good, I also am good at trouble shooting should the any issues arise.
