    The best way to eat them eggs is to soak them over night in salt water then rinse them well until they run clear it will take that stickiness out of them ...

    I've fried my share of fish eggs through the years; bass and catfish mainly, but I've never scrambled them with chicken eggs; you never get to old to learn something, thanks Micha and family.

    My dad always fried catfish eggs when I was a boy. He would put a little grease in a skillet and cook them. I ate all he'd cook.

    On our trips on Pussom Kingdom...Troutline days..My aunt would fry them up 1/2 chicken to catfish...She would serve with hot tomatoe relish from hee garden...Mix it in after eggs were finished...so good...that was early 60s...Great memories you bring back...thank you so much...

      Oh man I almost got to go fishing there when I was 15! But just so happened that I got hired on with a house builder and missed the trip! That was a tough decision!😂😂😂

    Awesome video, you definitely open peoples eyes about is actually quite eatable and delicious if they just drop their paradigms/opinions about what can be eaten from the wild, during good and bad times. Great teaching the skills to stay alive.

    I’ve also heard of people frying them in hot oil. Just a quick dip.
    Haven’t tried it myself.

      I did it with pike eggs one time, i dont recommend. They became very hard and crunchy, like soft bbs with a worse flavor. Catfish may be better though. Salmon eggs smoked are good

    Mix about a cup of water in the eggs. The steam will fluff them up. We have deep fried fish eggs, similar to filets, leaving membrane on. You have to puncture the membrane, or they will pop! Buffalo eggs are best fried this way.

    I always soak the fish in milk for a few hours before I cook it, that takes the ultra fishy taste away.

    That’s a big cast iron fryer I’ve got one that’s 17”🤙🏻🙏🏼🤠❤️ I love fish eggs My PaPa Peebles caught a Bass in Keys Mill Pond that weighed 14 4 n 3/4lb in 1968 on a Devils Horse lure we ate her eggs n all🤙🏻😂❤️ we always ate ours fried🤙🏻

      I think smoking and drying the eggs would be better. Then you grate them on pasta and sauces. Much better that way. They love it in new York and LA
