Not a minute. Not three ingredients. Great recipe. You don't need to lie.
It's a real shame about the lying, because now they've demonstrated they're not trustworthy. Copying the recipe down, and blocking the channel. Simple as.
@@elastoblastointegrity? never heard of it. @op You don't need to lie on this platform to create good watchable content that appeals to the algorithm, there are plenty of other recipe channels that are doing better and don't stoop to this level. Stop lying, be better than trash clickbait. Just my daily dose of disappointment in humanity... Channel blocked.
Salt and sugar arent ingredients, they are staples you can safely assume everybody has on hand at all times. Every recipe does this, they dont count salt, spices and often don't count the levening either.
Even if your right your still a jerk .this person is out here creating things and putting themselves out there for you to enjoy Scott free. Other than negativity what do you bring to the world?
@@evil1by1you're right, he wasn't being negative though. He did say this was a great recipe so they didn't need to lie. That's a compliment to me, not a negative comment.
The other two comments here were indeed negative though, very much so.
@@evil1by1 I hold people to standards which are higher than yours, apparently. 7 ingredients and several hours is not 3 ingredients and a minute. Why are you defending someone who is so dishonest that they lie about common ingredients and time involvement? The very definition of negativity, to consider critical judgement to be negative. Grow up, child.
"Only 3 ingredients." I'll count zest & juice as one, sure. But let's count: 1. lemon, 2. sugar, 3. corn starch, 4. salt, 5. butter ... which 2 ingredients were you not counting?
😂
She is counting 3 ingredients beacause everyone have sagar and salt
Come on, don’t be a hater ☮️
Come on! Don't be fussy!!!!
gracias KAREN
Actually, five ingredients, lemon water, sugar, cornstarch, butter, and salt, but still switches and easy to make treat
In the USA, we have a candy we call gum drops that have a similar texture. They are chewy and fruit flavored or flavored with licorice. Your version seems very wholesome, with only a couple of ingredients. Thanks.
Interesting!
Rather than butter, I would suggest using olive oil. Butter blocks some of the fruit flavor, whereas olive oil doesn't, and olives also have a fruity note of their own. The end result is more lemon flavor coming through.
I think Just the other way round...olive oli has too strong a flavour It would cover all other flavours... Butter Is just fine!!!!
@@linaribaldi3829once heated olive oil has zero flavor. try on french fries. butter is overwhelming when heated.
@luke_fabis that was useful
I’ve seen another video where they used oranges. Something about it is super satisfying to me, I’ve probably watched it 20 times. But I love lemons even more so I think I’m gonna make this. Thanks 😊
I accidentally put WAY too much cornstarch in a lemon sauce I was making, so I’m going to try turning it into this so it’s not a total waste! Can’t wait to try it
Good 👌👌😍😍😁😁

Thanks. Glad you like it. Cheers 😊😊😋😋
In Egypt we have a similar candy named "malban" and it could be any flavor, normally we eat it in religious festivals
Should certainly also be possible with lime or grapefruit. ... Which would also be worth to be shown, bc we already had orange, now lemon, ... More other colours please. :)
Guys this is so good and a must try it’s like a lemon jelly
Estan deliciosos.
Saludos

Many kinds and colours and shapes.
Fantastic, making this tomorrow
Looks delicious
It doesn't stop getting stick to the pan and making bubbles
ok
i mean it's basically a lemon Turkish delight (not that that's a bad thing, it looks yummy)
Delicious recipe! I would just sprinkle powder sugar over it before cooling it! 😋👍
Looks delicious! Thank you

Is it possible to skip the butter or replace it with olive oil?

Must be yummy and delicious 😋🤤
So 3 ingredient Turkish delight!! Great time saver if you’d want a Turkish delight but are feeling lazy like me
Why do you use 60g of cornstarch with the lemon and 120g of cornstarch with oranges?? Is there some type of reaction or something like that?
idk why
Very delicious and easy thanks

• 200 g (1 cup) sugar
• 60 g (1/2 cup) corn starch

Figured I needed to write them down anyways so hopefully this helps someone
only takes a minute "let sit for a few hours" lol
It reminds me of turkish delight. Does this sweat in storage like that does?
Magnifique dessert !!
In developed countries, whole frozen can orange juice very good-price.
Hello Kien, thanks a lot for your support I really appreciate your help thanks 🥰 have a good day
Mine didn’t thicken. Did I do something wrong?
Mine didnt thicken
I actually love making this its addictive
Sugar is very addictive....!
Resembles a Turkish delight
Saludos
Pyszne :)Dziękuję bardzo za przepis...
Pyszny deser Dziękuję za przepis Pozdrawiam serdecznie.
Witaj Henry dzięki za komentarz 🥰
Is this a recipe similar to turkish delight?
Can I use limes? Oranges? (I'm not that weird, but why not... Grapefruit?!) Thanks for the video!
It’s 4 ingredients 😉😆😂 can you substitute coconut oil in place of the butter? Do you turn off the heat at the end?
Yes you can!
How long will it take to thicken up? Excellent but won’t thicken
it takes some time depends on the pan and stove, you have to keep stirring over low to medium heat until thickens as you see in the video
Do we have to cool in fridge or just normal room temperature?
You can just let it cool down for a few hours and when it is set you can cut and coat in sugar
I made them the night before bringing them to work and there's like a bunch of liquid in the bottom of the container. Is this normal or a way to prevent that? I put them in the fridge if that matters
Whenever I see something and think "that is basically magic, how could anyone make that!" turns out the secret is corn starch lmao
I noticed other flavors use 1/3 cup starch and lemon uses 1/2 cup. Is there a reason for that?
Music is great 👍🏿
Is this called Yokan? Where is it from?
Yes in the US, it looks like lokumi/lokum. US is a huge country with people from all over the world living here. You will find it, just got to look or make it yourself.
Interesting, have you tried making lemon Jello and adding the ingredients less the corn starch?
@VARGASAVPUR RECIPES
I'm not sure but I would say lemon bars in the US are the same. I don't know how to make them and I know they usually have powdered sugar on top
Muy bueno
Muchas gracias Amailia. Me alegro que te guste. Saludos
Very delicious😋😋😋
3 ingredients?
Lemon zest
lemon juice
sugar
corn starch
salt
butter
water
I count 7 ingredients, 5 if you discount the water and put both lemon products under "lemon"
Se puede hacer de kakao
can i use sunflower oil instead of butter?
You just made lemon Turkish delight
Can I not use the butter or it will affect consistency?
yes I think you can use butter
Isn't this basically solidified lemon curd?
I'd suggest replacing the corn starch with gelatine.
