What a great interview. I love the design. He is a legend and I believe he would only put his reputation on the line if he believes in the Fisker Ocean. I’m buying.
Will this be as good as it sounds and look? What do you think about the #FiskerOcean ? Let me know in the comments 👇 EDIT: warranty is 160 000km not 16 000km as stated in the video. Sorry for the typo and thanks Marcus fot pointing that out.
@It's Only Electric (Tech & Tesla Sweden) I have an Ocean One reservation. My lock in date is February 20th. That meaning I won't be able to change my color choice/interior after that date. Still no delivery date, but I'm guessing before June.
It´s very clever using mekonomen in combination with a very long warranty. They will have service available "everywhere" (in theory anyway). Wonder other niche manufacturers will follow?
Very big questions. 🙂 Warranty is 6 years or 160 000km. That's good. And during that period probably close to 0 in maintanace cost. Lifespan of good batteries seems to be longer than a lot people thought. I have looked at 9 year old Teslas with over 260 000km on the meter with 93% battery capacity left. So with longevity in mind a good car should hold as long as combustion cars do.
I am between Maliblue and Black abyss. I am in Canada and we didn't have the chance to see the Ocean yet. Lock date is 13th March.! The Ocean that you saw is a final product? How was the interior/Maliblu material? Thanks
No it's still a prototype and not final product. But very close to end product as I understand it. MaliaBlu looked good, I liked it. Black Abyss is probably the safest bet. You can never go wrong with a black interior.
I had the same issue. Can’t decide on interior or exterior colors. Black on black vs. matte exterior and Maliblu interior. Ultimately I think I will choose Big Sur blu matte and maliblu interior. Can’t wait!!!
I'm so confused, I want offroad vehicle, but I reserved an ocean because it will be my first ev, and I was told the resale value will be strong. But NY charging stations is harsh on the ev world, only likable by tesla, not that many non Tesla's on the road in NY. You have to pay for charging spots, and the longer the wait, the longer u get charged by private owners of those chargers. Idk bruh, its either this or the 2023 ZR2.
@It's Only Electric (Tech & Tesla Sweden) Can you explain why? I don't think it can get me out of 3 feet of snow like the Colorado Zr2. I'm not going to have to wait for someone to be finished at the gas station. Then, paying for your spot to keep your car operational. That's robbery, but NYC is good for that. Like I said, Idk bruhh, it's a 50/50 chance. I'm not seeing the love for Ev in the city.
I don't have the experience of how it is in NY. Sounds like it's tough to own an EV ower there. 🤔 The main reason for getting an EV is for me the environmental aspeslct and an evolutionary. EVs are for for me the next gen of cars. Silent, quick and fun to drive. But if your surroundings are unprepared dlfor that it's hard.
I hope the guarantee was missing a 0. 16 000 km is about a year of normal driving in Sweden. And that's nothing on a EV. Looking back at the video it says 100 000 miles....that's 160 000 km. So guessing the graphics just got wrong there.
Love the car but the add-ons, like different rims/colors, are way too expensive. We shouldn't have to pay an extra $10k for this option and especially when you planning to buy the extreme ( top tier).

I'm glad that you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching. 🙏

Henrik seems approachable and happy to chat. Very interesting in no service intervals. At last a break from the dealer service model.
Yes, very approachable and nice to talk with! The warranty and service approach feels modern and smart
He is a genius and this is just the begining of the future of EV..there is no-one like Henrik Fisker!! 😊 tks Henrick
Very cool to get an interview with Henrik. I had a chance to see it in Las Vegas a few week ago and it's a gorgeous car. I have my reservation in.
Cool with a reservation! Did you get Any expected delivery date?

@@monsterpatbro1041 exciting! 🙂

Yes, the best solution I have heard of for a startup in this industry.
"Let me just close it" (after having tried the button to close the hatch two times) 😯
To his defence there was a lot of people fiddling with the car all day and when I tried it just after the interview it worked perfectly fine. :)
It looks amazing !!
I agree! And that togheter with good specs. Really looking forward to the #FiskerOcean
Excellent, thoughtful interview. Great work
Thank you! 🙂
Great interview and awesome hot takes follow-up in the Tesla home office!
Glad you enjoyed it!
It really looks great.
Agree!
What will repair and maintenance costs be?
How long is the lifespan in years and in miles?
When is the car beyond economic repair?

Fisker Ocean seems so competent 💪
Agree! A fully accomplished car.
NIce video, thanks.
I'm glad you enjoyed it. 👍
Hi
This is Maliblu interior?
Soon I have to lock down the configuration and I cannot decide! 😉
Yes, it's the MaloBlu suede like interior. I think it looks good! Haven't seen the other options live though.
Are you choosing between MaliaBlu and Black Abyss or Sea Salt?
I am between Maliblue and Black abyss.
I am in Canada and we didn't have the chance to see the Ocean yet.

At 6.59 timeline 100 000 miles is 160 000 km not 16 000
Thanks for pointing that out.

Yes, mistake by me. Forget one 0. 👍

That's probably due to the same reason as Tesla uses: Streamline the production to accelerate the deliveries.
Lol let me close this.
