More of a reborn Daytona 600!
I got my Daytona 660 a couple weeks ago. The engine is just too good. It just wants to go and go. For a road bike used for commuting and some fun riding it’s nearly perfect. For triumph to have brought this to market at the price they did is just incredible. The only bike that can match it in the category is the cbr650r.
Yeah, I previously test rode a cbr650r before I bought my Gsxs750. it was a pretty lack lustre experience to be honest. While I loved the mini fireblade looks of it, it lacked soul and character. With slightly less power, the 660 certainly doesn't feel like it! And had soul and character in spades for your emotion buckets!

Need to adjust the rear preload for your weight is what I am hearing. At least we can adjust that to keep rake reasonable and quicker steering. Power 6 instead of Road 6 tires though, correct? Nice road review; thank you.
Yeah, it was Pilot road 6's that were on it. Suspension was totally standard, so yeah ideally could have done with a couple of clicks of pre load but was ok out the crate for my weight, circa 115kg with gear on. Thanks for watching.

Nice vid & review. Seems a good looking, fun & sporty road bike with a great engine. Personally I'd replace the rear shock to get some adjustability in there & maybe some fork cartridges too. Power is fine imo but would flash the ECU & get a can just to make it sound nicer if nothing else. Any chance you might be able to review the GSX8R. Would be interested to see your comparison as they're in the same sector but very different.
Yeah! Hoping to. Sadly the Suzuki dealer is a good couple of hours ride away from me now so it won't be for a while, Alsk sure away with work again soon.
Agree about the tuning and parts for the bike, I think it really has alot of potential waiting to be released. So versatile for what it is, it really gets under your skin, so much character!
