yo guys if you have an old steering wheel laying around you can tape your phone to the middle of it and use the buttons on your keyboard as the pedals (for example i use space for throttle and 0 button on my keypad for brake since its also horizontally long

I would highly recommend using G-sensor on Yaxis instead of gyroscope on Z axis which offsets the calibration every time we make a sharp turn. G-sensor on the other hand have no need for any calibration no matter what.
Yes... But the problem I always faced was that the G-sensor was a bit too sensitive... And the steering wheel starts to wobble every time I try to turn... Idk, that's what I experienced... It might be due to the quality of the sensor also 🤷🏻♂️
@@virtualdrive8619 it's fine, it's actually better because you can actually rotate your phone and properly use touch even at extremes and the accuracy of G-sensor far exceeds the gyro so if sensitivity is really that much of an issue one can always reduce it in-game as well. And idk about the wobble thing, mine is perfect stable

i found difficulty to connect my phone with pc. in both the option scanning and code input, it failed to connect. please let me know what should be the problem
Try using the latest receiver software... Not the 5.9.1 which I mentioned in the video and use a common wifi network, not hotspot from same mobile.... It should work 👍🏻

1) You need to turn off the option to auto return the slider's position. Then set it to zero position. 2)Assign the throttle slider with the right trigger of xbox360. Assign brake slider to left trigger of xbox 360.

Whenever I connect it, my PC notifications spam "[phone name] is controlling your device!" then on my phone it says "connection failed" and my PC stops spamming

I connected to my pc and phone, did all the steps, as soon as i got into project cars 2 and put to the rightkeybinds the game isnt recieveing any buttons, wasted 1 hour trying to figure this out

Currently in 2024, trying to do this with Project Cars 2, everything works and connects but in game the steering does not work, just the pedals (breaks and acceleration do) Any help would be appreciated. Using USB to connect to omit any lag. Tried the previous versions but they do not even connect, latest versions of both mobile and PC app lets me connect but steering does not work
@@yeeet-u3k For older games like Project Cars 2, You need to use older versions of the App. For both, PC and android, older versions of the monect apps can be found in google. If i am not mistaken you need 7.2 android version. For newer games, same problems, so old versions does not work, latest version works only. Like f1 2024 and ACC. There might be other solutions too, but that's the only one I found.

Hey there!! Thanks for the video. I connect my phone to pc through USB and use the Forza layout in app. While playing racing games like F1 and asserto Corsa, there's seems to be a delay between you steering (tilting the phone) and the car actually steering in game. Is there any fix for it?
I've tried it on assetto corsa, it works but it's unstable af. After one lap the steering ain't accurate anymore, it keeps going left even if my suspension isn't damage.
I was just now driving using the same app in assetto corsa. Seems to work really well. I've actually tried this long ago but I couldn't set it up properly then, also couldn't learn how to drive with it either. Now this video motivated me to try again and its very good now. My layout is a bit different, had to tweak it a bit until it hit just right, but yeah, can confirm this works really well.
Yeah, depends on your wifi connection (speed and bandwidth) and also the quality of sensors in your smartphone.... I do play Project Cars 2 online... I faced no issues.... I was able to trail brake and counter steer... So yeah, it's good enough 👍🏻

Thanks for the app! For whom this app didn't work (in my case it didn't coz i have a 32 bit windows) you can use "touch racer" Though it wont provide you to add alot of buttons or create a custom layout but it will work as a steering wheel and will allow you to gradually brake and accelerate and shift gears. I used it on lfs and it works flawlessly

Problem solved Go to layout page Tap settings icon beside “ layouts “ , then add controller Go to pc Look for “ set up usb game controllers “ Tap properties inside and calibrate Move the slider to max when calibration
Don't download the latest one.... It has some bugs.... Check the description of the video.... I have put a link for the older version.... Watch the video for more guidance on how to set up 👍🏻
It's the same procedure I think... Instead of assigning your keyboard keys for car movement, use this app. Install, connect and follow the video until making the layout, and then open your game and configure.👍🏻 Let me know if you face any issues... I'll help you out ✌🏻

With the cable connected, open the app and tap "scan". There will be a USB icon in between (just below the logo of the app) the wifi and Bluetooth icon. Tap that, and you will be able to connect.

2. Use the receiver software from the link mentioned in the description... The latest version is a bit buggy

On smartphones without gyroscopes it doesn't seem to work, even changing the sensor option to accelerometer. Could you verify?

this feel that lag dont exist, i wish they to add 900º steer wheel. i found other apps with 900º but they dont have the 0 lag monect PC REMOTE offers
True. But for most racing scenarios, you won't require 900 degrees of rotation. So Monect seems to be a good choice.

In assetto corsa the pedals accelerating while breaking at the same time, because the slider's position fixed in center, duh.
Dont use the brakes just dont set the brakes , use the handbrake instead of the break , trust me

Vibration control is not available for acceleration using sliders... You can make the phone vibrate if you use buttons for acceleration 👍🏻

the throttle and brake sliders r by default 50% in Assetto Corsa content manager tho.....
Just turn off the auto reset option while editing the slider
Problem solved
Go to layout page
Tap settings icon beside “ layouts “ , then add controller
Go to pc
Look for “ set up usb game controllers “
Tap properties inside and calibrate
Move the slider to max when calibration
Just don't use sliders then

Nope... It only offers 180 degrees... Because one you turn your mobile upside down, the gyroscope starts from zero again...

From left to right, 180 degrees works well.... But it all depends upon the quality of the sensor in your smartphone.

How do i use this using usb connector
With the cable connected, open the app and tap "scan". There will be a USB icon in between (just below the logo of the app) the wifi and Bluetooth icon. Tap that, and you will be able to connect.

On my phone I can’t add custom layouts
In the layouts page, do you see a blue button with '+' icon?... If you click that, you should be able to create your own custom layout... Let me know if you are facing any issues...
