It's not unlike people in the West with their stupid e-celebs and the occasional real celebrity.
Lion's personality is really bad, but its unfair that she died for standing up for herself on social media.
She died for the same reason as Pig: inability to cooperate. As for it being unfair for her to be there at all, yes. But I think that's the point of the movie. No matter what negative thing you've done from something as trivial as saying something stupid and mean to committing genocide, it's all the same in the eyes of the public. Even if you've changed for the better since the incident.

I think a better strategy for wolf to take would've been to say "everyone vote to the person on your right" the outcome is the same but there's not the same fear of voting for your self, it's purely sycological

I wouldn’t say “perfect” cooperation… this is why I added a threat to the agreement.
But the plan does indeed need for at least the majority of participants to not be wannabe murderers. If most of them don’t care, then the plan fails. But if most don’t want to be murderers, then it’s pretty easy to know who didn’t vote on their right and let the majority kill them on the next round

Wolf Mask had learned the most following his sin. Whether or not it really was in self defense that he beat the crap out of someone, he tried his best to save the rest of those ingrates. So it's really ironic they are calling him a hypocrite when they are still acting selfish. He only killed someone as a last resort at the very end of this movie, and all things considered, he had the most right to be angry. It's actually pretty tragic, but it seems that he was spared in some versions after all. Thank goodness... Wait, the English version had him voiced by Zuko's actor? Huh, strangely fitting.

The best strategy is to have everyone stand together and look at the screen as they vote one by one. Then everyone can see exactly who is voting for who, therefore they can be sure they all vote for themselves. The last person to vote would have the power to kill anyone, but they'd have no reason to because they'd already know they were safe.
I feel like letting them move around the room broke the game.
This could still work even if they still were stuck to the table, they would still be able to see their neighbors’ screens. The only difference is that you would want to start at the sides of the table since Wolf and Fox will have the fewest eyes on them.
Wolf needed to win; he has a better chance of becoming a better person.
Fax and he already showed he was a better person in there

@Kaleialoha Arnett-Cook Well the mother wasn't "forced" or "made" to kill herself. She could have just as easily reported her son to the authorities. If it comes to a women beater vs a cheating partner, the beater is clearly more egregious. But a cheater is also inherently a person of no loyal characteristic. Which, depending on context, can be debatably worse.
Some information gained from knowing an individual beat their own mother is that the individual is extremely violent (this is hypothetical situation is separate from the movie's characters). Some information gained from knowing an individual has cheated on someone they claimed they "love" is that they do not care for anything but their own self pleasure. (meaning they can't be trusted.).
We don't know enough information as to why either person did what they did. If we take it to the extremes we can come to the conclusion that the women beater is a psychopath. While the cheater is a self-indulging character who values their own pleasure before anything else.
Both are horrible characteristics to have. Depending on the circumstances, one individual could be more valuable than the other.
For instance,
Let's say your life indirectly depended on the loyalty of one individual, A or B. (Choosing neither results in your death as well as the extermination of all puppies and kittens.).
Individual A is your hypothetical "friend" who has proven to be an extremely violent person (heck even a killer). But has also shown to value loyalty for those they care about.
Individual B is your hypothetical "friend" who has proven to take great pleasure from their own self-indulgence at the expense of anyone, including their "loved" ones. But has yet to have physically harmed anyone directly.
I would personally choose individual A.
My belief is that if someone is willing to psychologically and emotionally abuse the mind of someone they claim to care about or love, all just for some self pleasure, they are completely untrustworthy.
While a violent individual at least has the potential to demonstrate a sense of loyalty.

In the original manga this film is based on, one of the contestants had the sin of being gay and having been kicked out by his parents.
Lion's sin is ridiculous as well, having been cancelled on social media after suffering abusive comments.
These are included to show that people are sometimes condemned for ridiculous and shallow things that shouldn't matter, but are still held to the same standard as something like murder in certain people's eyes.
Okay, to highlight how people voting for and staging that are trash themselves. Imagine one guys sin was being kicked out for being gay in the movie. There shouldn't be any doubt that people making the game were just insane.

If she had just kept her trap shut, everybody but the person who voted for her would have thought everybody stuck to the deal and she would be relatively safe for the next round, because the group would probably decide to repeat the procedure (also, if she used her brains she could already make a very good guess that the vote for her probably came from the guy she voted for, since this is much more likely than more than two people not honoring their deal and by coincidence all voting for a different person who also didn't honor the deal). She could then either keep on voting for fox to try and uphold the stalemate or vote for someone else, killing that person and possibly making it look like fox was the culprit (because if he kept voting for her, she would have a vote and fox would be the only one with zero votes)
I mean someone who steals food from a charity doesn't seem like they would be the brightest person in the room...
Easiest way for everyone to have the highest chance at survival would have been for everyone to vote for the person to their right. That way they wouldn't be putting themselves at any higher risk by voting for themselves and it would be easy for the group to see who betrayed the group if anyone didn't follow directions.

If you're wondering why they didn't keep voting for themselves, it's because this adaptation created a paradox that didn't exist in the original manga:
In the original, everything was set up by two characters, and they made sure the game would go well, by creating situations where one of the "assholes" characters would betray the group. (They also went to show, if two people tied, one of them was forced to die anyway by making the two of them fight to the death.) And at the end, they revealed it didn't matter if everyone voted for themselves, because if they did, everyone would be executed expect for the person they both wanted to save. So it was rigged from the start.
Also it's not a Wolf mask, but a Cat one, at least in the manga, to represent lust. Since every mask was used to represent a sin. (The ones that wore it, were an extremely libertine girl, and best boy.) But neither were the protagonists, and the masks were meaningless anyways, since it was just another prop to hide their real motives.

You said it would be worth covering the camera's even though it's not guaranteed. I wouldn't do it since it's a death game and wouldn't do anything unless I was certain it was the best thing to do. Great video though, made some excellent points.
