Once they figured out they were killing from the list you could just see who's next & protect that specific person. To see what the killer would do.

I'd assume they'd just go after the next in the list, but if the students figure that out, then the next, and if they figure that out, then keep going down the list, they can't protect everyone forever.
@@randomperson5579 Yes you can.. it's calling grouping up and sticking together. It's pretty much what you do with the scouts or in the military.
Always be with multiple people at once. If you're with 10 people for example you can stick in one group of 10, 2 groups of 5 or 2 groups of 3 and one of 4 etc... plenty of options that would keep all people on the list under constant watch.

14:44 so the students could’ve left the school but not the teachers, and where is the rest of the school? There is an average of about 20-24 students in Korean high school classes, and that school seems rather big. There’s no way that they’re the only students there
In grade school, we got a new teacher that gave ALOT of us the creeps. A lot of students dropped that class; I was one of them. 20ish years later I ended up doing some property deals with the best teacher from that school. He told that creepy teacher was in jail bc SEVERAL students finally came forward. My response “not surprised” then I told him how I felt at 12yrs old. And he said every female student has said same thing to him. He said most of the teachers never realized how uncomfortable so many kids were. He apologized.
Some people are just good at hiding their weirdness factor around other adults. That’s why they can do what they do for so long. The kids that dropped the class bc he was creepy wouldn’t even know to report he’s creepy and those type of adults are usually fairly good about picking the kids that won’t tell they’ve been assaulted

THEORY: So maybe the killer was targeting the smartest students because they are the ones who are most likely to solve who the killer. They didn’t kill the dumb kids because they would struggle with solving the puzzles couldn’t they?
nah, i think maybe they thought one of the students killed ji won to become top of the class, as she was the smartest student at that time. that probably didn't think it had to be a student, but killing students who possibly had a motive would have been more justified in their minds. that's what i think at least

So I'm going to admit a point of ignorance. But, I've noticed that Japanese and Korean horror has a very strong "death game" genre. What happening culturally to produce that? I only ask because horror, more than most genres, is used to talk about fears, worries, stresses, social issues, etc. So it's really interesting that there's just so much in this specific genre from those specific places. Any informed ideas on that?

So basically this movie is Cinema Summary's worst nightmare, being killed in order of who's the smartest, yeah he would be the first to die.

I think one of the best plot twists was that, they weren't killing based on who were the top students, they were killing based on who cheated in the test and got the questions

Never in my life have I met a more truer statement.
Personally, I believe more people have had paranormal encounters than will admit it. In Asia, people are more open to admitting and discussing the phenomena as their academic worldview takes into consideration the metaphysical. By contrast, western intellectual thought is almost purely metaphysical while our science says that is wrong (see Taboo of Psi).
