This 7 year old video is the most clear binding explanation for binding I come across and I've watched a lot. Perfect for true beginners like myself. Thank you.

I know this video is 6 years old, but as a new quilter I watch a lot of videos and this one is one of the best I’ve watched. I love the way you explain (slowly) each step. I am also doing your BOM and I am learning so much. Thanks, Erica. 😊

Just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your video. It was simple, complete, and so very full of the information I needed. I love that you keep what you have to say to the point. Simple and straight forward makes things so much easier. I now feel like I will be able to bind my first quilt by myself--thanks to you!

Jewel Inger You are wonderful! I did my first binding on a table runner. It looked pretty good so I grabbed last years table runner and did that binding too! Now I'm ready to bind my first bed quilt. Thank you! I'm also grateful for your teaching method. I quickly snap off the verbose tube tuters. The wordier tuters get the more confusing to beginners and the more annoying to advanced quilters who are trying to learn a technique. Also, your video filming is great. Have you considered giving classes for tube tuters?

@@loriehoward2444 Hi there. On your device, you just select the button that says "Subscribe" in red font or white font with a red background if on your computer. It is under the video on the right hand side of your screen. If it is greyed out and reads, "Subscribed" with the past tense "ed" at the end, then you are already subscribed to the channel, no need to do anything else. Good luck, this is a great channel Erica has here.

She kindly let me do a few of the cathedral window pieces when I was about 10. She probably didn't use them lol 😅. But, she did let me quite some on her frame. Cherished memories

Hi! Thanks so much for the excellent binding tutorial. I really appreciated your close up with the camera, so I can see in detail the finger work. I have watched a bunch of binding tutorials, seriously, at least 6 different people and at least 3 times each. I am still not happy with my technique, but I am getting better each time....
    Thanks again!!
    Laura

Binding just takes time and practice, it was the hardest part of quilting for me!

Absolutely love your quilting videos! Please do more, especially patterns. Thanks! My daughter also home schools 4 boys. Told her about you and that you had great ideas that would be helpful!

Does binding always have to be created on bias of material or can it just be cur along straight lines of material?
