For everyone that likes the 'binding board,' this is a very easy (and cheap) way to make your own. All you need to do is place two long pins parallel to each other on your ironing surface an inch or two wider than your iron (stop the video and look at her board). Make sure your pins are heat resistant and that the middle section of the pin is wide enough for your binding to fit under when folded in half. Then you can slide the binding in just as shown in the video and voila, you have a 'binding board." I prefer to use that $40 for fabric instead of buying one more quilting tool. You can see hers is getting burned too from having her iron always in the same place. This way, you can move it from spot to spot and have your ironing board cover last much longer.
I followed your instructions for sewing the ends together, and i am thrilled to report: WHOOPEE!!!!! FINALLY, I WAS ABLE TO DO THIS!!!! AT 80 years old, I have tried a few methods over the past three years, but this one worked for me. Thanks, Corey!! PAT BERNE
I'm brand new to quilting and watching tutorials and trying to absorb as much as possible. You were a great teacher. Easy to understand and follow. Thank you so much!
Literally found you via cats while I was folding laundry and they decided to play with my phone. My cats seem to know how to bring more joy and sewing into my life 😂.
I fight with my binding every time. Watched your tutorial and will refer to it for all my future binding. You made it look so easy. I can see where I make mistakes. ❤
I love this tutorial Corey!!! Thank you!!! You made it so clear and precise and I'm so glad you explained why we might have to adjust the binding width according to the batting loft of our quilts. I've been consistently using 2 1/2" bindings but sometimes they look uneven , now I realize I should be trying more narrow ones. Thank you, Thank you!!! So helpful!!!
Ha!...one of the very first videos we made for this channel probably 3 years ago or so had music playing in the background. We received some comments that the music wasn't appreciated and we never added music after that. =)
I've been quilting forever and have never mastered where the binding meets up where you started. Your directions were slap my head DUH simple! Thank you!
I am so glad I watched this tutorial on machine binding because I have only ever made one quilt in my life and that was over 20 years ago. It was hand appliqued and I finished the binding by hand. So I am pretty much brand new, but I sew clothing, doll clothes, fleece blankets and any craft that I want. I am a very confident sewer I would never not do something because I have never done it before or because it looks hard, that's just not my nature. I watch a lot of quilt videos on all topics so I feel very ready to sew my second, first quilt lol.
This was just the tutorial that I needed. I am finishing a quilt for my grandson and have only made a few quilts many years ago. I watched a number of videos and made five practice quilts about 8 x 12 inches to relearn binding. This is the best video I've seen yet! I wasn't happy with any of my samples and was at the point of hand sewing the binding on the backing when I found your tutorial. Thank you so much! My hands thank you too!
I just added a binding to a quilt using this method. It looks great. I used my stitch in the ditch walking foot and moved the needle over to the right until it was just on the edge of the binding. I will be doing my bindings like this from now on.
Tadaaaaa! Its 630a and I was determined to do a machine binding my baby quilt!!! I found your Tutorial and watched it as I sewed with you! and it works!!! I love it.... Thank you so much for your easy to follow tutorial ! Ginny
Thank you! I'm going to try the 2" - was always told 2 1/2 - I've been doing 2 1/4 with better luck - Definitely going to try the 2"! Looks great. I would have thought that would be too tight. LOVE LOVE LOVE this fabric line!!! Your quilt are beautiful, and again, thank you!
When I join my binding diagonally, I move the top strip to the left and up just a bit so I can see the intersections where it overlaps the bottom strip. Then I can guide the bottom intersection along the red line of the diagonal tape.
So many great tips, thank you! Love your designing and colors! I know things are different when filming, but incase you did not know…on your Juki, if you step on the heel of the foot control it will activate your thread cutter. Thanks again for your tutorial. Thank you so much for the tutorial! It is very thorough, especially the part about needing to adjust your binding to match the loft of your batting. I generally just use what I have and really have no idea about the different types (something I want to learn more about). I generally make the same width of binding and now I’m seeing the advantages of going a bit narrower. P.S. I think I may have heard your machine asking for a drop or two of oil. 😀
Batting does make a difference! I oil and clean after every 5 bobbins which keeps things running pretty smoothly but maybe she gets a little dry like I do in the winter. 😂
I’ve watched numerous videos on how to bind by machine. This is by far the easiest to follow! I appreciate you showing the binding stitches so closely on both sides. This video really pulled it all together for me. Thank you!
Fantastic tutorial Corey! Thank you so much. Your descriptions and tips were spot on. I love the suggestion of cutting the strips 2” as I have also had issues with not liking what the back looks like when machine binding other widths. I am now actually “eager” to bind several projects languishing in my sewing room! 😂❤️👍🏻
Thanks for this video Corey. I do some of the same techniques. I am going to try the 2" binding strips. I have been using 2 1/4" but this looks much better and will line up better. It boosts my confidence when I see someone else doing some of the same techniques and it turns out great.

This is how I do my binding as well. I also find that using a stiletto gives me more control and accuracy. Also as mentioned before when joining strips I offset the overlap a little and you can see exactly the diagonal lines to the corners. And this also helps with the final join at the end making the binding fit perfectly.
Oh wow....thank you so much for this tutorial. Your tip about ironing the binding made my corners absolutely perfect! I love machine binding, and nice mitered corners, but sometimes they aren't perfect. What a difference the ironing made. Thank you a million times over!!!
Great tutorial, Corey! I feel less anxiety about trying machine binding now. Thank you for this! Your fabrics and quilts are so beautiful! Hope that you can get caught up on your binding tasks; would love to see how the other quilts look when finished!
Ah - so happy I found this. I had seen it once before and needed a reference to come back to. These ole hands tire so easily doing hand binding. This looks like the way to go.
I'm glad you found it again. I really appreciate having a machine binding method that works for me. I don't mind hand binding but binding by machine sure is handy...and easier on the hands. =)
Perfect and easy. I love to sew. And especially bind. Just so satisfying to see a job well done. Please show your finished projects. Procrastinating is hard on your body and mind. ❤️🙏🏻
I also do my bindings like you do with the exception of using invisible thread when topstitching the binding (on the spool and in the bobbin), so if my sewing gets a little wonky on the front or the back, it really isn't noticeable. I use Sulky's 100% polyester invisible thread. CONGRATZ on getting your lovely quilts bound!
Thank you for this tutorial … it was so informative! Your fabric and quilts are gorgeous! I’m waiting for my fat quarter bundle and panel of beautiful day fabric to arrive… thank you again. And the binding board is a great idea!!
Love, love, love this video Corey!! I know it’s been awhile since you made this but this is the best tutorial out there. Who would have thought to make it easier for someone to let them know you join the ends like when you make your binding the same way! I am so grateful for your tutorials. You have such a gift of teaching others❤❤❤ I just made my first big quilt with your “Sunwashed” fabrics and made the “Bountiful” quilt on FQS and had it long armed and it’s beautiful!! I gain more confidence each time I go through the process and it is so wonderful that there are quilter’s who help us all. Thank you! God Bless!
Thank you so much!...I'm so glad you found it helpful. And I'm so glad you like the Bountiful quilt---I had so much fun designing that quilt and it's been a treat to see so many people making that quilt. =)
Cori, thank you for an awesome tutorial! I have not tried a 2 inch binding before but I will defiantly do so soon! I agree with what you mentioned regarding the wiggle room with a 2 1/2 inch binding …so it’s nice to know that the 2 inch binding works better as far as fitting nicely around the edge. I hope you got your other quilts binded. They are beautiful! You mentioned in the description that you use the hinged foot for HST and flying geese etc… I would love to see a tutorial on that too! 😊
You are so welcome! The 2” binding is wonderful for keeping things today!..give it a whirl and see what you think. 😃 In my video on Diagonal Seam tape earlier this week, I showed how I make my flying geese as well as HST’s. 😃
I just got done with putting on binding with this method. Thanks so much love doing it this way . Your need to old to learn something new . Beth from Minnesota
Thanks for the tutorial!! I’m going to try 2” because I get frustrated with the uneven-ness of the 2.5” binding strips. Hope you bound those gorgeous quilts!! I’m working on easy peasy from your apricot and ash line 🤩 love it
Thank you for this tutorial. I've done more hand stitched bindings than machine stitched. I do enjoy the hand stitching process. However, these days I just want to get to the next quilt and want to machine stitch my binding for a change, at least for now. I haven't even finished watching your whole video yet but have to tell you I appreciate your tip on the 2" binding strips and how well they fit when machine stitching binding like this. I like how nice and neat it looks. I've just finished cutting 2 1/2" strips for a quilt I'm working on so I'll keep it this way but next time I'll take your advice and try a 2" binding strip. Thanks again!!
Love your quilts and did you get them all binded? I love the red colors!! Great tutorial I love how you explain things in detail as you show up a few times, this helps us beginners!! Thank you
I’ve been a professional seamstress for 33 years but I’ve only dabbled in quilting, I’ll sit for hundreds of hours beading belly dance costumes but I can’t get past taking a beautiful piece of fabric, cutting it in little pieces just so you can spend hours and hours putting them back together LOL your tutorial was very well done and I learned a few things about quilting, thank you! I do admire quilters and quilts very much.
Well I admire seamstress's very much! I've made a few pieces of clothing here and there but nothing complicated. I really enjoyed watching Project Runway and seeing how they all just whipped out patterns and clothing and made so many complex garments!
Corey - love listening to you talk - so relatable. Great tutorial. I've finally got comfortable with my binding techniques and no longer dread the process. As you mentioned pillows are a great way to do that. Having said that, the tip about the binding width will be very useful going forward. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for this video. I love hand binding but I also love the clean look of machine binding. This was a super easy way to beautifully finish my quilts and not feel guilty about it lol.
Thank you for showing us your method of attaching bindings. You make it look so simple! I too have a pile of quilted tops that need bindings, that seems to be the step I procrastinate on.🤦♀️ But I will ask….Have you gotten those bindings done? 😉
I just found this video that I missed when it originally came out. I can't wait to try a few of your tips because I always struggle with machine binding. Pressing after attaching & the way you are the corners on the front look like total game changers! I always enjoy your videos & always learn something new! Thank you so much!
Hi, your instruction is great, but I'm an old timer and I really think you need to have your camera closer to your project. It's really hard to see what presser foot you have on, or even where you're actually sewing. Can you move your camera a little bit closer on ALL of your videos? Thanks so much
Corey you have encouraged me to once again try sewing my own bindings on. Binding is the one thing about quilt making that I have truly disliked doing so much so that by the end of 2019 I had seventeen quilts that only needed binding 🤦♀️ In early 2020 I found Tina who enjoys binding quilts and has been doing mine every since. She adds to her limited income and I have beautiful finished quilts. A win win. Whenever I tried doing it myself my ends, that you sew together, came out lumpy and looking crappy, the thread always showed on the back and the binding on one side of the quilt was always larger. (I cut my binding at 2 1/2”) I have a small wheelchair lap quilt I just finished for my daughter and after watching your video one more time I will bind it myself. Thank you for great instructions. Wish me luck.
thank you, thank you, and thank you for this clearly explained tutorial. It allowed me to see exactly where my problems have been with my previous bindings and how to fix them. I am excited to bind something now. Thanks again.
Cory, I use a binding clip to hold the quilt body and pinch the body and clip. That way, it gives me extra space to work with making that last joining stitch on the binding.
i love your method of I would have never thought to cut my binding 2 inches, but i certainly will give it a try, since I love the look of a tight binding finish.
Never thought of pressing binding after first attaching to begin finishing binding. Will start doing and remember size of binding with weight of batting. Good information. Thank you always
Very good and thank you very much I appreciate it and I can't wait to try these techniques out I was always wondering how to do them I seen them in books but the way you showed it was good thank you. 👍🙏🎉
Another busy day for me getting things done and organized for Monday's filming. I so enjoy sitting with my hand quilting and watching your video! I hope you have an amazing day! Thanks for posting this video.
I love a nice tight binding. I need to switch up my method and start sewing on the back first. Really the best binding tutorial I have seen and i spend lots of time on you tube!!
Thank you for demonstrating this method whose advocacy will free many quilters from this time consuming . You will accelerate finished projects by advocating, my view, the only sensible method for machine binding a quilt. I consider it best practice. Otherwise, if binding is attached on front, pushed to back and stitched in the ditch on the front, there is hit or miss on the back. Why play that lottery? I adopted stitch back/pull to front method in 2019--I did not see much if any advocacy for it, but it eliminated all of my disappointing results. I have three tips/preferences to share: (1) Creative Grids Folded corner clipper makes quick work of precision cutting binding strips for joining with engineered cuts. It also helps with a perfectly mitered final join. Eliminating the excess fabric in advance ensures perfect alignment and visual cues. (2) If you have a hemming foot (blind/edge stitch) that allows for great precision in sewing the edge down and hitting the seam line underneath for a clean look on the back this is "mostly" in the ditch! (3) Use a slightly longer stitch length (I use 3). Sharon Schambers' video was the first binding video that I ran across to help me learn to bind given my pitiful first start. I learned there the importance of thirds (2/3 same and 1/3 fat to cover seam line) for adjusting seam allowance based on substrate and was introduced to glue basting!
These are such great tips! It’s so helpful to have so many different ways to get the same thing done. That allows each of us to settle on the technique that works best for each of us.
Great tutorial! Thank you so much. I've never seen machine binding come out looking so nice. You do an amazing job sewing straight and consistently. Wow!
Thanks so much! I've had a lot of practice machine sewing binding. Plus, finding a technique that works well for me has helped with consistent results.
Thank you for showing how to put on the binding. Im so used to cutting my binding 2 1/2" & sew it onto the front, press & turn to the back cause i enjoy hand binding.
A Rockstar !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have always done my binding 2 1/2, Wow you taught me something! It looks great, beautiful work. I'll try the 2 inches. Also the "binding board" Sister I'm a FAN!!!!!!!,
Thanks so much! I have watched other "Machine" Binding videos but could never get mine to come out as well as "traditional"--YOURS is the Best!! Very clear directions. Love all your fabrics.
@@CorianderQuilts I tried it this morning and it worked great! The 2" binding makes ALL the difference! I make a lot of charity projects so this will be wonderful.
I’m not much of a quilter, but I have a quilted Advent calendar I’m making for my daughter and I needed this technique! Thank you for such a well done video.
Fairly new to quilting here, lifetime sewist. When finishing off a quilt, I always experience the binding dilemma - sew to front, or sew to back. :| Have watched zillions of binding videos and this is the best explanation I've found for the width to leave when making the final binding join. So thanks! Very positive.
You’re so welcome! I’ve tried different ways of attaching to the back first as well as the front first and landed on the method I showed as my favorite. I’m able to get consistently good results doing it this way. 😃
So glad you did this video. Even after years of quilting I struggle w joining the binding and have to search tutorials every time. Yours is definitely saved as a fave.
Thank you for a very clear and informative video of binding. I really appreciate how you repeated some steps. You have given us a clear view of this process
Cory, I just want to tell you I love your fabric line, quilts and I just bought your OH happy day book. An easy way for you to describe how to sew that diagonal seam is Corner to Corner. Thanks for all you do. ❤
I watched a gazillion binding tutorials on TH-cam but yours did the trick! I finally attempted my first machine binding and with your help -- especially the 2" binding strip rec -- I was able to machine bind a 54 x 85-in quilt today and I'm very happy with the result! I liked doing the final machine quilting on the front v the back because you can see what you're doing too! Thank you, thank you, thank you! My old fingers are starting to throb when I hand sew for too long so this is huge for me!
I like the tips for the bindings. I need to start using 2 inch binding verses the 2 1/2 inch. The problems you mentioned is what I have been doing. Thank you.
This was so great!! Thank you so much, I always always struggle at the final connection. I have a quilt just about ready to bind. Thank you again. I would like to also say how much I enjoy all your fabric. 😊
Thank you for sharing your machine binding techniques and for showing the two Beautiful Charming quilts. I have the charm squares and the fabrics all prepped for the grey version. The red is cute but I’m excited to get going on the grey. I’m also doing your mystery quilt!
Thank you! Great instructions! I do mine this way but wider and from the front. I am going to do some from the back. Your comment about the thickness of the batting sure does make a difference. Thanks again.
Love love love your application. Of ones I've searched for use yours all the time. Works perfect every time thank you for posting this. It works every time. Loved it!!
For everyone that likes the 'binding board,' this is a very easy (and cheap) way to make your own. All you need to do is place two long pins parallel to each other on your ironing surface an inch or two wider than your iron (stop the video and look at her board). Oh my goodness!! A binding board!?! I love it... thank you for sharing, Corey!
It's so fun to use Stephanie! =)
Oh sure!--invisible thread is a great suggestion! =)
Oh my gosh Corey!!! What a cool trick with the binding and laying the iron down and pull through cool beans!!!
Isn’t that fun!…I actually enjoy that step of making binding now. 😃
Thank you for this tutorial … it was so informative! Your fabric and quilts are gorgeous! I’m waiting for my fat quarter bundle and panel of beautiful day fabric to arrive… thank you again. And the binding board is a great idea!!
I love my binding board--it makes pressing those strips fun!
In my video on Diagonal Seam tape earlier this week, I showed how I make my flying geese as well as HST’s. 😃
I just got done with putting on binding with this method. Thanks so much love doing it this way . Your need to old to learn something new . Beth from Minnesota
I’m glad this method worked for you!…its my go to machine binding technique.
Thanks for the tutorial!! I’m going to try 2” because I get frustrated with the uneven-ness of the 2.5” binding strips.
Hope you bound those gorgeous quilts!! I’m working on easy peasy from your apricot and ash line 🤩 love it
2” made such a difference for me!
Yes I agree. Beautiful quilts! Getter er done 😅
I found cutting the strips at 2" made such a big difference in my machine binding!
Thank you for the tutorial on binding. I’m still learning so this was super helpful.
I hope it helps stream line things for you!
Love the red quilt. Thank you for this great instruction video. It's very clear and I learned a lo
You are so welcome!...I'm so glad that you found it helpful!
Love your quilts and did you get them all binded? I love the red colors!! Great tutorial I love how you explain things in detail as you show up a few times, this helps us beginners!! Thank you
I did get them bound!--thank you for asking!
Hi Catherine, you might like the patterns that have big blocks instead of little pieces. Check them out! They are fun!
Corey - love listening to you talk - so relatable. Great tutorial. I've finally got comfortable with my binding techniques and no longer dread the process. As you mentioned pillows are a great way to do that. Having said that, the tip about the binding width will be very useful going forward. Thank you so much!
Thank you!…I agree, practice makes so much difference as we perfect our techniques. It takes some time to get it just right. 😃
Thank you so much for this video. I love hand binding but I also love the clean look of machine binding. This was a super easy way to beautifully finish my quilts and not feel guilty about it lol.
You are so welcome!...I'm glad you found it to be a helpful video!
Thank you for showing us your method of attaching bindings. You make it look so simple!
I too have a pile of quilted tops that need bindings, that seems to be the step I procrastinate on.🤦♀️
But I will ask….Have you gotten those bindings done? 😉
I am just as guilty of procrastinating on those bindings!…but yes!…I got them done! 😃
Fantastic!! That you finished!
I just found this video that I missed when it originally came out. I can't wait to try a few of your tips because I always struggle with machine binding. Pressing after attaching & the way you are the corners on the front look like total game changers! I always enjoy your videos & always learn something new! Thank you so much!
Oops! ...the way you are SEWING the corners...
I hope it helps!...I thought switching to the 2" binding made such a difference.
You’ve explained everything really well. Thank you! Did you finish binding the quilts?😄
I did…yay!! 🎉
This is an amazing tutorial. I watched it twice and again as I did my own. Turned out beautiful! Thank you, so much!!!
Wonderful!...I'm glad it was helpful!
Binding is the one thing about quilt making that I have truly disliked doing so much so that by the end of 2019 I had seventeen quilts that only needed binding 🤦♀️
In early 2020 I found Tina who enjoys binding quilts and has been doing mine every since. She adds to her limited income and I have beautiful finished quilts. A win win.
Whenever I tried doing it myself my ends, that you sew together, came out lumpy and looking crappy, the thread always showed on the back and the binding on one side of the quilt was always larger. (I cut my binding at 2 1/2”)
I have a small wheelchair lap quilt I just finished for my daughter and after watching your video one more time I will bind it myself.
Thank you for great instructions. Wish me luck.
Good luck Debbie!---you'll have to let me know how it goes!
thank you, thank you, and thank you for this clearly explained tutorial. It allowed me to see exactly where my problems have been with my previous bindings and how to fix them. I am excited to bind something now. Thanks again.
You are so welcome!...I hope this video helps with your machine binding!
Cory, I use a binding clip to hold the quilt body and pinch the body and clip. That way, it gives me extra space to work with making that last joining stitch on the binding.
Sure...that makes sense!
Thank you so much Cory, I just watched your binding tutorial and have officially binded my very first quilt ❤ thank you again xxx
Oh perfect!...I'm so glad the tutorial was helpful!
i love your method of I would have never thought to cut my binding 2 inches, but i certainly will give it a try, since I love the look of a tight binding finish.
Cutting it at 2" made such a difference for my machine binding!
One of the best instructional binding videos that I’ve seen! I learned so much!! Thank you!!!
You're so welcome!...I'm glad you found it helpful!
That binding board!!! 😮 I’ve never pressed mine after attaching the binding. Definitely going to try that. Thank you Corey!!
Love the binding board! And yes!..try pressing after attaching…I was surprised what a difference it makes.
Never thought of pressing binding after first attaching to begin finishing binding. Will start doing and remember size of binding with weight of batting. Good information. Thank you always
I think it makes such a nice difference taking that extra step. =)
Very good and thank you very much I appreciate it and I can't wait to try these techniques out I was always wondering how to do them I seen them in books but the way you showed it was good thank you. 👍🙏🎉
I'm glad it was helpful!
This is THE BEST binding video on TH-cam
Thank you so much!...I'm so glad you found it helpful. =)
The red and white quilt is stunning! Ty for the tut
You're so welcome!...thank you!
Another busy day for me getting things done and organized for Monday's filming. I so enjoy sitting with my hand quilting and watching your video! I hope you have an amazing day! Thanks for posting this video.
You are so welcome!
I love a nice tight binding. I need to switch up my method and start sewing on the back first. Really the best binding tutorial I have seen and i spend lots of time on you tube!!
I'm so glad you found it helpful! Switching to 2" for machine binding made the biggest difference for me.
@@CorianderQuilts Agreed.
Thank you. I loved this binding tute. Glad I chose to watch yours as I will be binding my very First quilt. Am grateful for ALL the tips included.
You are so welcome! You might like watching some other tutorials as well. There are a number of different ways you can machine bind a quilt.
You're so welcome! I still use 2 1/4" when I am hand binding a quilt.
A Rockstar !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have always done my binding 2 1/2, Wow you taught me something! It looks great, beautiful work. I'll try the 2 inches. Also the "binding board" Sister I'm a FAN!!!!!!!,
I hope that 2” size works well for you! And that binding board makes that step of making binding so fun. 😃
Aah! Got it. I will have to try 2". You are correct about the 2.5". Thank you again!
It makes the biggest difference for me!
Thanks so much! I have watched other "Machine" Binding videos but could never get mine to come out as well as "traditional"--YOURS is the Best!! Very clear directions. Love all your fabrics.
Thank you!--I hope it helps with your machine binding!
@@CorianderQuilts I tried it this morning and it worked great! The 2" binding makes ALL the difference! I make a lot of charity projects so this will be wonderful.
Surprise for me! I’ve landed on your binding technique on my own. So happy for me to know that I have a legit process! Thank you!
Wonderful!--I say a technique that works for you and gets the job done is just perfect. =)
I’m not much of a quilter, but I have a quilted Advent calendar I’m making for my daughter and I needed this technique! Thank you for such a well done video.
Wonderful!--I'm so glad it is helpful for you!
That's a good tip, on sewing binding from the back first. No one has ever really said what side, in any of the videos I've watched.
You can do it either way (and I've tried both). The way I showed works best for me. =)
I'm so glad it was helpful!
Thank you for a very clear and informative video of binding. I really appreciate how you repeated some steps. You have given us a clear view of this process
I'm so glad you found it helpful!
Cory, I just want to tell you I love your fabric line, quilts and I just bought your OH happy day book. An easy way for you to describe how to sew that diagonal seam is Corner to Corner. Thanks for all you do. ❤
Oh thank you!
Wonderful!...I'm so glad you found it helpful!
I like the tips for the bindings. I need to start using 2 inch binding verses the 2 1/2 inch. The problems you mentioned is what I have been doing. Thank you.
I found it to be very helpful switching to a 2" binding when I'm doing it all on the machine. =)
Very informative and encouraging to see how you make binding a quilt doable! Thank you.
You are so welcome!
Thank you so much for this tutorial! Thank you for taking it nice and slow. This is the best machine binding tutorial I have watched!!! Your awesome!
Thank you so much!---I'm so glad that you found it helpful. =)
This was so great!! Thank you so much, I always always struggle at the final connection. I have a quilt just about ready to bind. Thank you again. I would like to also say how much I enjoy all your fabric. 😊
Thank you so much Debbie!...I'm glad you found it helpful!
I have been fighting finishing a binding for 3 months. Thank you so much for this easy method.
Sometimes that binding just seems to not want to get done!
Thank you for sharing your machine binding techniques and for showing the two Beautiful Charming quilts. I have the charm squares and the fabrics all prepped for the grey version. The red is cute but I’m excited to get going on the grey. I’m also doing your mystery quilt!
You're so welcome!--I still can't decide if I like the gray or the red quilt better! =)
Thank you! Great instructions! I do mine this way but wider and from the front. I am going to do some from the back. Your comment about the thickness of the batting sure does make a difference. Thanks again.
You're so welcome! There are so many different ways we can approach our machine binding.
Love love love your application. Of ones I've searched for use yours all the time. Works perfect every time thank you for posting this. It works every time. Loved it!!
I'm so glad this method has worked for you! =)
Thank you so Much! I watch many binding tutorials because I struggle with it so much. I will try your methods, and hope for better outcomes! 😄
I hope it helps! =)
I learned so much from your tutorial! I am not using a 21/2 “ binding anymore.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much Corey, that helped me a lot, I only handstitch the binding on the back because I like this so much.
I'm glad you enjoy hand binding. It's always nice to have a bit of handwork, isn't it!
