I bought mine years ago when they had the original version where the top arms are angled in the opposite directions as the newer version which I see in yours. I just found that out since I just started installing mine now lol. It's another 400 bucks for the kit to swap the uppers.
Thanks for the video. I'm having a Dana 60 built so I only have the cradle installed, but you said that to center the axle you cut the bottom links and added adjustable R joints from Ridetech (from your video they look just the the adjustable link ends on the top links right?) And, you tapped the "existing" hole with 3/4 x 16 right? Would it have been possible to just cut the original R joint off, cut out 3/4", and reweld, or would the heat destroy the R joint? Thanks
When you’re done with narrowing the rear end for the second time how much will you be in it including the price of the 12 bolt.. just curious if I should save for a 9 in or fab a 12 bolt
during the time of the video was your rear end stock length and wheel well no mods? I got Ridetechs suspension also. wondering if you did any mods for fitment. 305 is a wide tire
I wasn’t gonna buy the adjustable links but I will now. Thanks for the video

yea the bottoms ones are fixed, but chopped them off and tapped them for adjustability. not sure i would call ridetech
I was going to buy that kit for my 69 but the coil overs are way too low, about 2.5” away from hitting the ground.
I thought about this but on the positive side, it travels up or down with the wheels unlike headers that are low/close to the ground.
Nice! Where in Cali are you from? I'm in the LA area.
yes
downey area

When you had the adjustable links done, did it change the pinion angle?
no, the two center bars adjust the pinion angle.
