Hope do don't have bad harmonics on that radio. Friend has one. When he transmits on 2 meters he is putting half a watt onto the 1st harmonic in the UHF military band. Nice video and nice looking radio. Best wishes.
i got a radtel, i think rt-730x or 370x, but it gets air band and ranges from i think 18mhz to 999 mhz for like $30, and a usb charger and same programming cable, it's been great with a good ring antenna
@@campuscab air band does work for sure on 5rm, i used radio reference to find the airport frequencies near me. then i use www.liveatc.net/ to find which frequencies are actually active in my area
I have two OG UV-5Rs. Cheap and thrown in a faraday cage for backup.
