They have the genes of the now extinct Barbary Lions...these Bhoys could be the hope to being back this species one day to the Atlas Mountain Ranges once again on protected Land Sanctuaries. They are magnificent! Long been in love with this Subspecies!
You can clearly see that they are captive lions. The manes are very thick ( a sign of regular and good nutrition and far less stress) They are also podgy or a little overweight, compared to their leaner wild counterparts. They are Well looked after though and are incredible looking boys, that's for sure. Hopefully there will be no need for captive lions in the future and we can enjoy them in their natural habitat - but i won't hold my breath.
I've seen so many Lion videos but i haven't seen such a beautiful Lions Until now. Save such a Magnificent and Majestic barbary Lion breed... ✊✊✊ thank you
OMG...! Look at them... those are Mighty and Majestic and Magnificent Lions I've ever seen in my life... Those are one of the God's beautiful creation and wonders😘😘😘😘😘😘😘 thank you dear for such a beautiful video👌👌👌
I think they have a lot of Barbary in them because of their belly hair reaches all the way to the back and they have shorter faces than the pure African lions, also they seem longer, all those features fit in the category of Barbary lions, they are gorgeous!
Jesus Swag Actually, lions develop these long manes in cold climate, that's why wild Barbary lions were able to grow such manes, which was due to the cold mountainous climate they lived in. Other wild African lions also had manes like that on mountainous areas throughout Africa. These African mountain lions where found in the Ethiopian mountains, east African mountains and southern African mountains, but unfortunately many of these special African mountain lions are extinct, apart from Ethiopian lions which are still around. This is one of the reasons why everyone thinks African lions only lived on savanna's, because the mountain lions were killed off.
The Panther ahhh ok very interesting, i didn't know that but how can you tell the Barbary lion from these ? What are the differences? I heard Barbary are the heaviest of all lions but their a foot shorter than the African lion.. help me understand
@@jesusswag4905 there are no African wild lions with hair anything like that.I refer to the hair running down the tummy.I am from Africa and have seen many You do get a few with patches on the tummy,or in the crater areas thicker manned lions. george hone What do you mean by this? it's an adaptation, plus I've already mentioned the cold climate African lions in my other comment, they all grew larger manes and thicker fur than any savanna lion.
Those boys are so regal looking. I hope they have a good long life
Wow they are massive boys and that ball of fur beautiful
Give praise to the Creator, for these majestic beasts.

Their manes are incredibly impressive! O.O
Hi guys, these lions are certainly real! And all are African.
Safina Lion Project Why did you take them away from their origins?
Mary it’s because they might not be able to survive in the wild as much so they in a enclosure
they sure look Barbary with their undercoat extending back, and they look large with bigger hips..they are Grate looking
For me MAPOGOS LIONS is the KING of all LIONS... 💪💪💪
They have such tinny place for patrol. The zoo shall give them much larger space!

The Panther why lioness did not developed long hair if cold climate has made the males to develope one?
george hone
Lionesses grow long fur around their bodies and so do males, but they just can't naturally grow manes in any climate.
then cold climate will not suffice to growing long fur in lions esp. manes for male lions
george hone

Not direct Barbary but because lions in UK atleast, have a fairly uknown origin, there could be a tiny bit in there.
How much do some of these lions weigh, their coats and colors look amazing?
Safina Lion Project .thoufh may not be a sirect burbury lineage but look at them wat a beauties.even litbit of being burburiness is axepted.
on patrol hhhhhh there's no lions look like this in the wild
pure Burberry lions are now extinct.they ones found largely in north africa.these are half breed Burberry lions.
these poor babies look so bored.please stop putting lions in cages, leave them in the wild where they are meant to be
On patrol in those caged fences??? How ironic..
Nossa esses ai é muito grande
looks like barbary lions not african lions.
Helena Johansson nope they are African lions..but in cold climate they grow a thick curly big mane..people mistakenly think they are Barbary lions
They are not young!
😂😂😂😂 Coalition? In a zoo?
Patrol really?!?! These aren’t wild. These would not survive in Africa
