A country neighbor of mine was famous for his 40-year-0ld Morgan. Eventually, he had a rig in the barn to help the old horse get on his feet, but he was still bright-eyed and hungry. The old man said, several times he'd trained up a young horse (cowboy-wise) and figured to retire the morgan, but got frustrated and saddled up the morgan again to get the job done. That was a respected horse.

As a child, i took care of Morgans at a farm just down the road from me. It was my best childhood memory. 35 years later, I bought that farm and will absolutely be bringing horses here in the future. They do imprint and can be incredibly affectionate.
I hope you've the means and room to help horses that may have fallen on difficult times. Giving a horse their last good days is a blessed thing to do. Happy trails on your new property. 🌿🖖
When I was young I was taken to a Lipizzaner show where they did choreographed routines. I was blown away! Then, the people who took me got invited after the show to go see them backstage. They were in temporary stalls and we could rub their noses and pet them. I’ve never forgotten how beautiful they were.
I have a golden palomino,his coat and contrasting white mane and tail glisten in the sunshine. I know are not officially a breed ,but worth a mention. The ancient royalty loved this horse and is the most admired colour in the world . Everyone loves the golden horse. ❤❤❤
I've loved horses since I was a little girl...My dream of owning one came true. Over the years I have had 7 horses. They are beautiful animals and when you can bond with them they will love you and do whatever you want them to do. You must always be loving and kind and learn their language. They will give you their heart if you give them yours.
My favorite is the Arabian horse. I have never owned any horse, but I always dreamed of having one. Now, I am too old to dream of having one. Lucky are those people who can own horses and ride them.😢
The Morgan horse was the horse Almanzo Wilder owned. He married Laura Ingals Wilder, in her Little House on the Prairie Books. This horse supposedly brought back bales of wheat (in the Long Winter Book), when the families of De Smet were starving because the trains couldn't get in with food , in the hard winter in the 1800's.
They are all beautiful but I still love the, Suffolk Punch horse. They also were in danger of being extinct. One of the oldest breeds in the world as well. Only sorrel in color but just as beautiful as these horses. Intelligent, long lived, versatile. I know there is effort toin Great Britain to keep them from dying out. Now popular here in the US and in other countries. Always been my favorite horse.

The best most beautiful horse in the world is YOUR horse! I have always had Arabians going back 65 years. All my horses are my babies and live long and wonderful lives. I also love Friesians. The farm next to ours had a East of the Mississippi Friesian event, and I always volunteered. If I had room for more horses, I would have a Friesian. But heart truly belongs to Arabians. They are beyond fantastic! 🤠🐴🐎 ❤

I was so surprised that the Clydesdales were not in this video! When I was 4, Budweiser brought a team of them to my town. Yes, there was a coach with a man and a dalmation. From that time on, I have always loved this breed.❤
I met a Gypsy Van a few years ago. He was in his stall, sticking his head out with curiousity. I came up to him and he hooked his head over my shoulder and pulled me in to him and kept nuzzling me. He didn't want me to leave, either! He was such a sweetheart and I wish I'd been able to stay with him forever.
I have never seen Horses like this in person, but I am so thankful for videos like this that show Gods beautiful creatures, all animals are magnificent in their own way and have a story to tell. My favorite of these Horses - all of them 😊
What about my favorite horse breed, the Percheron?? I learned to ride on a big old fella who was half Percheron. I've loved them ever since, and I'm 77 years old.
Mustangs... they're not about humans, they're engaged in the primal experience in nature. Gorgeous horses interacting so well with humans, will to exert themselves, and then there's the Mustang uninvolved with any of those characteristics. The Mustang is a symbol which when encountered invites, calls, demands we humans to reflect on our lives.

I think all horses, in general, have my utmost respect and admiration! They are versatile, strong, gentle, and loving. They are workers, used for transportation, they race, they are used in therapy, and just an everyday joy!
I have had a Fjord (or a Fjording as we say) and they are considered as ponies and are mainly used for riding, not farming. Also they are well known for their intelligence and stubborness.
All great specimens, but would havve liked to have seen the Baskir Curly, English or French Percheron, or the Clydesdale. Even the Irish Draft horse and Thoroubred could get a mention. Sorry but they're all amaing and for so many reasons. Great job.
The Mustang! I live in their area of the country. It is a sight to see them all running as one big herd across the terrain of the Southwest. Every time I travel anywhere in the area, you are sure to see the freedom-loving beautiful Mustangs galloping along side your car window within watching distance. Sometimes they want to out run you! 😄 Just ❤them! And…they’re all gorgeous too!
I totally agree! I would LOVE to see them in person. Have not heard of any in Central New Mexico. It is horse heaven here (even our Wal-Mart and Post Office have hitching posts, and I have three excellent feed and horse supply stores within a couple of miles. My favorite is only a mile away, and I can see their buildings through our forest), but there are some breeds who are rare. Lots of Arabians! My realtor who helped us find our wonderful little ranch has 17 incredible Arabs!

The Shire is the largest horse breed (the Percheron is the heaviest) at 16 to 21 hands, the Clydesdale is the second largest horse breed at 16 to 20 hands tall. The Shire originated in England, while the Clydesdale originated in Scotland, totally separate from each other, meaning they are totally different breeds even though they are mistaken for each other all the time. They were both used as war horses, that carried knights into battle, and the Shire can be traced all way back to 1066 AD, the time of the Norman invasion when William the Conqueror won the British crown!! Exciting stuff!

In 1967 they started to promote the Frisian as a horse for recreation and dressage and that helped to gain popularity.
This presents the truth of the phrase “beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.” The comments of “you forgot” this or that breed just proves that people love the breeds they love, which makes me personally grateful that there are so many to choose from. I think maybe it’s my Cherokee & Comanche blood that has made me be in love with all horses, since I was a little girl. I have a special fondness for the ones with “feathers”, but they are all so beautiful to me. Wish so much that I had been able to learn to ride when I was younger. Now my severe scoliosis makes it hard to function as a senior, but I get joy from just watching their beauty & movement. Thanks for posting this video. 👏💝

I'm always in awe and thankful that the love of these breeds allows for people to continue to breed them in their natural state like dog breeds keeping the breed and standards true if not for their devotion these horses would be extinct.

U have forgotten the Peruvian Paso. Uniquely gated like no other.
The Paso Fino has a similar gait. Both are incredibly smart breeds, as well.

This presents the truth of the phrase “beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.” The comments of “you forgot” this or that breed just proves that people love the breeds they love, which makes me personally grateful that there are so many to choose from. As one other person commented, horses are just really amazingly special animals. ❤❤

I think maybe it’s my Cherokee & Comanche blood that has made me be in love with all horses, since I was a little girl. I have a special fondness for the ones with “feathers”, but they are all so beautiful to me. Wish so much that I had been able to learn to ride when I was younger. Now my severe scoliosis makes it hard to function as a senior, but I get joy from just watching their beauty & movement. Thanks for posting this video. 👏💝

My top three would be , the Shire, the Freisen, and, one not shown, the Clydesdale. I love most anything with 4 ĺegs.
I'm always in awe and thankful that the love of these breeds allows for people to continue to breed them in their natural state like dog breeds keeping the breed and standards true if not for their devotion these horses would be extinct.
