Good video but would be nice if you filmed it in normal wide mode

I have the exact same printer and also printing planes. It's not a fantastic printer for the purpose of printing thin walls but it works. It actually like you need to tune retraction settings. Of course clean and adjust the extruder mechanism if needed and confirm there's no slipping but I wouldn't worry too much about the Z screw dirt.
The perforated area needs retraction priming (extrude extra filament after a retraction). In Cura the setting is called "retraction extra prime amount" and in Prusa it's "extra length on restart" . Start with 0.2 and test. The stringing inside is due to retraction length. Add 0.5 or 1 mm to the current retraction length and test. I'd recommend downloading a retraction test print. Don't bother printing wings etc. until retraction is tuned.

Glad to see someone finally did a video on this, however, most of the video was blacked out. Only showing either your back or top of your head. Also any links to firmware?

I’ll do another video on this to shoot it better thanks for watching 😀. I’m going to do a upgrade to the print head, going from a single to a dual print head. As for as firmware I haven’t updated it yet.

My printer must be an earlier model, it doesn't have the mounting holes for the dual z upgrade. Im gonna have to drill and use nuts...

Sorry to here that, getting the holes in the right place can be hard, wish you the best of luck

Thank you for the video, What is the difference between single z and dual z ? is it better result ?

So it has helped with the printing. The prints look better less stringy. But if the printer is off and you lower the bar with your hand,(so if one side is higher then the other) you will here a Squealing noise on the z motor. Make sure your center bar is even to prevent this problem.

@@thembijan You can re-flash your firmware enabling G34 auto z leveling, and the printer will adjust both axis to be aligned before each print. ✌🏻

Sorry, but this is a terrible video. That is all the more unfortunate since it could have been very useful. If you want to build a channel, you should do this one over. Don’t kill the messenger.

No I agree not professional quality or edited but that’s not what I was going for my videos, mine are shown In a candid way. I just hoping people can learn from my videos and learn from my mistakes
