I think it’s a small summer project. Best to redo this project and make new inner sideblades from stainless (or other exotic) and keep de knifeblade and the covers original.
Tuff restoration. I hate to see any knife that has been beaten up that bad but you did a good job with what you had to work with. Keep on restoring stuff and I’ll keep watching.👍
I think that you did a great job. Especially with what you had to work with. Great video.
Thank you 🙏
It would be nice to make a new blade.
of course, you can make a new blade, but if you can restore an old blade, then that is a restoration

I'm not trying to belittle your efforts, for it was a good restoration; however I wonder if it was worth it.
thanks for the comment, I like restoring old things. It's like a hobby
Parabéns. Você devolveu a vida para a peça. Foi positivo deixa-la original com a lâmina. Manteve o valor histórico do canivete.
Obrigado, tentei salvar esta exposição
Absolutely pointless. Not worth the effort. Too much material lost.
It is important to me as a find
Your restoration talent is wasted, attempting to resurrect such a poor steel quality knife.
maybe you are right
