I rate that at a 10. The knife was so far gone that you really did not have much to work with. But you did preserve the blade and paid honor to its long history. Using horse bone from WW2 was a very nice touch, adding a bit of history from the 1940s. Most people do not realize that horses were still in use by the millions even that recently. Really a fantastic restoration!
I need to see again a helmet restoration! I think your restoration/preservation work on military stuff is awesome! I didn't really like your content since the very beginning because the first video was a 500+ year old knife restoration video in which you cut some part of it. After some tkme I can tell you convinced me pretty much! Keep up the good work!
I would give you a definite 10 very nice job it looks fantastic!! You find and restore some very cool items !!! Great video and great work as always I look forward to each video you make!! Thank you for that.
Another amazing restotransformation!!!! The original metal for the blade must have been premium quality to last that long underground! Your mechanical skills are paramount! The choice of horse bone from a battlefield is spot on!! Well done sir!!! The Old Army Scout. Do you sell your knives? I’m asking for an old veteran friend… thanks for your video!!
in my In my Opinion, restoring a Pocketknive is not that Big of a Deal, but what You made of it is just impressive. Precision, a good Eye for what it needs, and a lot o´Love for that little old Knive! Thanks for the inspiring Video. 10 out of 10!
A box full of goodies! You'll have enough for a couple years. 😉 You're likely using a metal detector to uncover these treasures, right? Have you ever discovered larger items, such as a helmet or even a complete rifle, in your searches?
Yeeaahh, “HORSE BONES.” Ssuurree, guy. Some day soon, GenZers are gonna knock on your door looking for the bones of their grandfather that you turned into a knife. 😂😂
An absolutely beautiful job. The only thing I can see is those beautiful handles don't fit exactly snug at the ends. But the beautiful restoration job done takes that away from the whole thing. Great job.... i love it. I say a 10.
I'd have been tempted to embed the original liners (or what was left of them) into the scales, just for the aesthetic. This was excellent, though; 10out of 10.
I almost want to skip to the end to see the final product but that would ruin the fun. Keep it up. You need to give us written instructions on how to do it so that future generations can do the same

6.7/10 great work. The bronze would have looked better with the original lined pattern. Also, I don't know if you have a welder or not, but the knife could have been nicely welded up, making it smooth. Otherwise, everything is perfect
Restoration-2. Beautiful handle-10. Make a new blade and you're a complete 10! (The blade may be historically important, but it clashes with the polished bone and brass.)
Я тоже считаю, что это не реставрация, это капитальный ремонт. Хотя я считаю, его отреставрировать бы как он есть и на полку) Мастеру низкий поклон. Браво!
10/10, the final product has so much character and swagger to it. Old school classic and authentic, done right. Beautiful work man.
Thanks!
The bone work was, just wow!! I didn’t know it could look like that.

A 10 all day! I've always wondered why they never used brass bolsters. Thank you
Bravo!
That was totally awesome. You tried your best to save all the components of the knife. What if you had a forge also .

What happened to the dimpling on the brass? The end result looked smooth. I'll give you an 8+.
I am more fascinated by the cute mini anvil
I’d Cary that knife! Great job 10

Always appreciate how you try to save as much as possible. This is a ten!

هل كان بالإمكان أن تملأ الحفر الصغيرة على نصل هذه السكين لتصبح أروع؟
عمومًا عملك أكثر من رائع..

Your close ups are really good quality what camera do you use? Love the videos
This restoration proved that it is indeed possible to polish a turd. Well done.
Dope AF results, @ReXtorer!

За работу 5+, но от оригинала мало осталось, это уже не реставрация.
You can only do so much. You have to deal with what you have. I would call it a renovation rather than a restoration.

So it's older than my country Argentina.
Хорошая работа, но над заточкой ещё надо работать.
Можно было детали прохромировать. Тогда ножу б цепы не было. Вещь!
Ohhh! Do you mean you went to where world war 2 took place to get the horse bones?
8/10 🤷♂️
🙋👍👏💪
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Клас!
