I'd like to say thanks as I'm new to getting back into rc cars, and am learning so much about things I know I'll need to change out or upgrade, so thanks!
awesome looking upgrade. that downhill run was sweet and the 180 landing was pretty cool.
hi there just like to say that this channel really informative. watching the channel has helped me almost decided whether I should get a bomber or a yeti, the only thing left to say is I wish I had found your channel sooner like ten years ago lol keep up the good work! looking forward to seeing the next upgrade on the bomber, man that's a sweet truck!!
Just a FYI.....
I put Josh's Bomber List on my Channel - in CORRECT order, and NOT stopping at episode 14!! 😉🍺🍺
Do you have a dedicated bomber crawling or trail crawler build? Or upgrade list?
is there oing to be a next episode or is the series done i am about to pick mine p and would like to follow along not sure if this was the end
could some one tell me a good batery for my axial scx10 deadbolt
Can you do the Dmg Ifs b1b bomber. I really want to see how it goes
Well Harley you've definitely built a badass rock basher 🍻 hopefully you're next life endeavor will be focusing on 1/8 mountain bashers lol.. Any info about the V2 AR60HD with a boot ? I'm still in the process making CVDs for my 2028 Bomber XL ... I perchanced XL center CVDs but noticed that they are 5.5 mm..no bearing that size... if I turned them down to 5mm do you think they would be robust enough? Thanks for your time👊
PFFFF.... thanks again.... why try...
that's a tough n bad ass truck hopefully I kan build a truck as kool as yours
Josh a while back you said you were going to test the castle creations slate motors. Did you get around to that and feel like it would be a good addition or still like the tekin motors ?
+Krazy Kittys I have been running one of the 1406 motors and it's great. The 1410 or 1415 is a better choice for the Bomber.
This thing looks solid.Any upcoming videos on PRT build?I hope you didn't pass on it.
Hi Harley, great build series! Just curious what motor and esc you would have used if you were sticking to the budget? Looking for a cheaper solution than what you are running. Also I noticed in your scx10 build you went brushless, how does this setup go crawling? Thanks for the info you provide.
+Mark Menzies I only run brushless really. It handles slow speed crawling well as long as you use a quality setup. If I were to try and go more budget friendly I would have went with a Mamba Max Pro or Holmes Hobbies BLE ESC, not cheap but not as expensive, and I would still have to go with either a Tekin Pro4 or Holmes Hobbies Puller Pro. Not a ton cheaper overall but still some savings.
Ok great, thanks for the info. Being in Australia the dollar conversion kills us for quality products like those. I will have to slowly save up to upgrade. Thanks again.
are you going to crawler palooza this year
Sorry off topic but when can we see your king sling build ? I have a king sling body that needs paint and I'll have me a king sling soon. Not using smt though, I built mine out of scx and the strc monster kit. Can't wait to see yours !
+Tom Cullett I hope to start one in the near future based off the Max D release from Axial.
What happened to the build series... toy said there'd be more coming😢😢😢
what HiTec servo are you going to put in it ? im getting the kit version and want to put the HiTec servo you want use in it, I was going to use savox but you said they werent good
+Ciarán Farley-Toone (cTurtle98) I chose to run a Futaba. The S9177SV is a killer servo for the money. Most high end servos are going to be in that $125-150 range. The Hitec 7950 would be the other option.
Not a waterproof one ?
i see them new axles
when is the next episode? its been over a week...
I saw a pickup truck that said "harley designs" across the side of it the other day. Not sure if It was you or not, was in Wisconsin.
+WRENCHDOTCO it wasn't me, I'm out in California.
What are you going to build next?
+Evan Harich either an SMT10 based Mega Truck or working on the SCX10-II more.
Scx10 2 has kinda bad articulation, any tips?
+ ljay. There are a few mods, you can move the rear shock hoops forward on the chassis and drill new holes for them. And you can use a Dremel to take material out of the notch where the rear driveshaft enters the skid pate. You will need to raise you body so it doesn't rub, personally having a great deal of flex is not that important. Hope this helps.
+ljay having more than the height of your tire isn't really needed. Out of the box the SCX10-2 has plenty of flex. People just need to understand that increasing flex will hurt their performance in the end.
Donner pass , u better start building some tire chains !
What happend to the rock bonccer
+Faded Sharp I dumped it because I wasn't happy with the chassis.
Can you día losi night crawler
+Dillan Pip being that the Losi is an older platform that isn't as relevant any longer, I don't think I'll be doing any videos with them.
