yea it Friday !!!!!!! I can't believe that spur gear held up this long !! Vanquish always has the best fit & finish!!
I have to say... You are the best at these videos. You get into the detail, and don't force us to use parts but suggest what is best and state the pros and cons of products. Keep it up!
As another option.... There IS Robinson Racing Delrin Spur Gears. VERY durable, and nice to Pinion Gears too! 😉

Given all the RC I have done I think I stipped a spur gear once. Having a properlay adjusted slipper cluch makes a big difference.
+eric1138 when doing a big portion of rock crawling, a slipper that has almost any give is near useless. You need to be able to throttle out of a very hard bind. If I was only racing with this, I'd back it off more.
So much better looking. I like to run Steel spurs also. Till now never had a problem. Thanks for the update.

Hi mate, love your budget builds, especially bomber as I recently brought one as my first electric RC ever. Just to mention...that ryoby screwdrivers are still available in uk markets if is worthy for you B&Q have them on stock but you can find them somewhere else

+Fernea Catalin shipping is different for everyone and where you buy. It's not something I feel is needed, I had discussed this in my first budget build and still stand by that today. Because also depending on where you are you may also have tax and such. Too many variables that could possible add up.
who do i have to sleep with to get an exo motor mount?

I've tried destroying my Duratrax plastic spur without any luck. Holmes Puller Pro 3500kv on 3s, with the slipper locked all the way down
+HahnsB2 I've had good luck with them before too, but on my heavy trucks I have still ate them up.

Me, I LOAD mine up, with a quality Marine Grease. That way, it can even get wet!

+James S. I actually have a very nice mic but I have to do so much background noise reduction that it screws up the sound. I absolutely hate lav mics and I've tried two now but not sure which way I'll go on that. The studio is in vanquish so there are machines running in the background.
