    For those of us who have the vehicles, the time and patience these wrenching videos are awesome because we can work with you in our upgrading. Yes, let us have more of these and even videos on setting up scale rigs.

    Great video love how in depth you are on installing products and upgrading your vehicles, i just got an Axial Bomber and picked up a set of the Curie axles. Using your video as a guide was the easiest installation ever. KEEP UP THE GREAT VIDEOS!!!!!!!

    Hey Rich, I love the longer videos! I would really like to see you do a live build sort of like Harley Designs does on his channel. I like the interaction and discussion that happens. That feeling of hanging out building RC is really cool.

    Those Ford 9in axles are gorgeous. Never messed around with rock racers or trail crawlers but this build as inspired me to build a bomber.

    love the long build videos rich! especially when i want to work on mine but am at work. they help satisfy my build desires when im unable to do it at the time. love the whole bomber series! im going to be picking myself one up so i can have fun upgrading an getting out when im unable to make it to the track! oh ya ive been dying to see a running video i want to see how this baby drives! keep up the great work rich we all look forward to it!

    A huge plus is you showing the tools needed. To anyone new, when you look at the cost of better tools the price may run you off. Don't let it. Good tools make this hobby much more enjoyable. The best $59 I ever spent was for my set of 4 Losi drivers.

    i like the stuff you do pretty much all around. the longer wrench vids are cool. this one was helpfull because oddly enough, the bomber is going to be my next build, and i plan to use f9's. i love the rockjocks because they're just so damn pretty, but the f9's have the updated spool bearing retainers, and the larger pin
    ion bearing. i say keep it up, but keep mixing it up. above all else keep it fun for yourself.

    I'm starting to get into the rock racing stuff coming from 1/8 scale nitro racing and wanted to do u4rc racing and some trail riding as some rock climbing. im looking at the Bomber, the yeti and the losi rock ray what would be the best set up for my needs. Thanks again

    Hi Rich. Great build series on the Bomber. FYI the "C clip" pliers you have are actually called snap ring pliers. They are available several different ways. Including a replaceable tips version. Most auto parts and hardware stores carry them. Very handy to have as you know.

    I realize this video is four years old but I really enjoyed watching the entire build!! I’ve been looking for a set of these axels for an all-metal bomber build I’ve been planning but unfortunately these are no longer available. I’m even looking for a used set if I could find them.       Yeah, AR60 sized axles are hard to find now......I wish I wouldn't have gotten rid of this one.....

    Yo, rich great 👍🏼 video love these upgrade build vids so relaxing. I got a quick question how do I stop my 1/10 yeti from donkey kicking? I'm running powerstroke rears for yeti 20w. The rig is pretty heavy due to a sidewinder 8th in it. Thanks man.

      I'm running a heavy Yeti.....stock XT powerstokes in the rear with 20wt oil...fronts are (rear slash sized) powerstrokes with the heaviest springs (both initial and secondary springs) running 45wt

    I have scte it pulls hard in the front . I want more grip in the back how do I even out the traction pull with the diff oil what do u recommend

    I have a question im having a hard time finding out what the problem of my axial bomber because when you spin the from tire forward and the back tire will also spin backward instead of in the same direction and i couldn't find out how to fixed back..thank you so much RCnetwork all your videos are awesome and informative for those people just started on this hobby like me..

      You'll need to flip on of the locked diffs - either front or rear was put in backward - check the owners manual for orientation

    Try using cheap clear nail polish instead of locktight I got some for $1 and I use it on everything for rc and it works great

    Vanquish is expensive but quality is on point! I had to pick up a set of the kmc xd rockstars in 2.2 for my scx10

    That differential "cup", we call that a pumpkin in the full-size world. Toyota and several other manufacturers use the same set-up.

    Currie made their name building Ford 9" differentials. The removable 3rd member design of the 9" that contains the diff is arguably the best design there is. I would guess the "F9" is short for Ford 9".

      Vanquish still makes them....but they're not in high demand like they once were. Everything has went to 1.9 now, or the SCX10 sized axles. I got these direct from VP back then

    How does this compare to your Tekno U4 build as far as performance?

      It doesn't. The only thing the bomber can do is slow crawl better than the DB48.

    Is there a part to protect the servo horn from front impact?

      There's servo armor out there. Vanquish made one back in the day as well as reef's now. It's not really needed anymore with the power of servos today and that they have all aluminum cases / ears available

      @@TheRCNetwork yea, but there’s no protection for servo arm against rocks...it bends or breaks horn with moderate hits from rocks(I live in desert).

      i had the dex8 buggy. The only complaint (and the reason I sold it) is the center diff mount. If you decide to go with the dex8t, buy a metal spur gear.

      Any type of diff grease or moly grease. Cow RC sells "Udder Butter"

      Kévin Blaise you don't need anything special to lubricate the ring and pinion. Find "moly grease" had a hardware or auto parts store....that will work too

      I had a totally wrong shock setup in 1.9 trail. I almost got 3rd on the main, but I flipped on the hill on the last lap and no one turned me over.. But I did pretty good for my first race with it, also got third In of the heats in 2.2 indy. I think I did pretty good for my second time at a u4rc event. Hope to see you at the next one
