Yes, the Tangem is a great wallet. I’m flattered that you respect my opinion so much. But choosing a crypto wallet is not a black-and-white decision. Some wallets do things better than others and the ledger still has its uses. But the Tangem wallet is so inexpensive that it’s great to have as an auxiliary wallet. Consensus these days is that it’s best to spread your assets across several wallets to mitigate risk. In practice, though, you may choose to use the Tangem as your go to wallet. It definitely has all of the security features required for long term hodling. Especially now that they support seed backups.

I was looking for ledger alternatives and was wonder what you think about possible malware through the phone app. I've heard it's one of the vulnerabilities. Thoughts?
At the end of the day for every hardware wallet you have to trust the manufacturer didn't install any backdoors in the hardware, the firmware and the app... so Ledger is just as safe as any other, but it's probably good to split between several if your life savings are on them.
@@JDCraftMCPE which then begs the question, why would anyone put their entire life savings into crypto, let alone one wallet?
For malware, You get another phone and recover with cards
How do you intergrate Tangem wallet into MetaMask like you can intergrate your Ledger Nano X ETH address into MetaMask.
How do you do that with the Tangem wallet?
hi there, does the wallet store reddcoin and/or ETN please?
whats the max funds they can hold?
How do I cancel my Stax order as it has not shipped and I would like to use a Tangem Wallet. I still have a Nano X and a Trezor.
so all i have to do is lose the card and crypto gone sounds really secure. I like supports a lot of coins and may use for small amounts but i need more security if lost
Even you lost your card and someone found it still they cannot use it without your access code.
Thanks cryptodad...what happens if tangem goes banqrupt...how do you get you crypto..im assuming the app wouldnt be available if they went bust
If the phone dont suppout NFC I think we cant use Tangem at all?
What happens if you loose the phone the wallet is linked to???
Good video demo! Can you move the ETH to Arbitrum on the Tangem app?
What functionality on the phone is required to be able to scan the cards?
The cards use NFC which is built in to most smart phones now. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Near-field_communication
can we connect this wallet into exchange like pancake swap ?
How Do you like your Tg card wallet. So far. Any update ?
In case back up cards lost or stolen, can I order the new ones and sync with the same wallet I have with balance?
No, you can't. The cards are your only backup. The app won't do you any good without the cards. However, if you are using the new tangent cards with the optional 12 word backup. If you have backed up your cards using a 12 word backup, you can order a new set and then do a restore.
hey Rex, I’m just learning about this ledger recover issue. Are you going to abandon your ledger devices in favor of this tangem wallet now? Seems like a big waste of money but I would value your opinion on what I should do. I had no idea that ledger was not open source at least that’s what my research tells me.
Ledger also keeps a database of evey seed phrase 🙄
Great info thx 😊
