I love Tangem and also really enjoy your channel. I will argue your take on seed phrases, though. The risk of losing all three cards is certainly no more than the risk of losing a seed phrase and wallet. Of the three cards I keep one and the other two are secure in other physical locations. One in my safe deposit box at the bank and one in a private safe in another town. All three disappearing at once is just inconceivable. As for transferring from another wallet, unless you are constantly shifting wallets, not recommended, it takes about 10 minutes and $2 to just send the funds to your Tangem. I know because I did it yesterday. In short, I see no advantage to a seed phrase. If you are going to lose three cards, using a seed phrase won't help you. You're doomed. 😁
It’s just a preference. Couple things though. I can create as many copies of my seed phrase as I want to, whereas with Tangem your limited to 3 copies. Sure, it might not be realistic that you’ll lose all three cards, but that doesn’t mean it won’t happen. Especially because not everyone is going to store each card in three separate locations across town. Furthermore, if you don’t know your seed phrase, you’re limited to only using Tangem. So if a new wallet comes out that your really want to use to secure your crypto, you’d have to transfer it all to the new wallet versus simply importing your seed phrase. Again, to each their own. It sounds like you’ve got a good system. But I like to know my seed. 🤝
Thanks for that update. I've been using Tangem for a while as well, and I continue to feel good about it. Nice to know my decision is confirmed/supported by your experience.
A lot of people hate on me for liking and recommending Tangem so much, but it’s just a no brainer imo. Simple and secure. What more could you want, right? Thanks for watching!

You are referring to something else. The hack I referenced in this video, is here: techcrunch.com/2018/03/21/a-15-year-old-hacked-the-secure-ledger-crypto-wallet/ To be fair, it wasn’t so much of a hack as a potential concern, but Ledger has since solved this concern through a simple update.
Yeah, the ledger FUD is pretty over the top. I get the it but tbh it’s still above and beyond keeping your BTC on the exchanges. Feel like the diehards really need to keep perspective.
This is all new to me and my question may be very basic.. What if Tagem is bankrupt in few years and there are no more functionning app available. Can we still nfc scan the card with another app or access by any other way the content of the card ? Thanks and great work on your vids

Amazing video Alex!! So impressed with the clarity you bring even for the non-techno savvy! Just making sure Tangem supports XRP? So we don't really need to remember our seed phrase each time we need to do a trade or transaction? Just Access code? I know its best to buy from manufactuer, so your link directs straight to Tangem? Lastly, is there a way to see a history of transactions/trades/buys/sells ect? Appreciate your help! Thanks so much!! :)
Thanks! Yes, Tangem supports XRP. Correct, your seed phrase is only used to recover your wallet if you lose access to it. To transact using Tangem, you’ll need to scan any one of your cards and enter your access code. And yes, my link is straight to Tangem’s website. If you don’t want to click on the link, that’s fine. You can always manually enter my discount code “CYBERSCRILLA” at checkout to get the 10% off. There is a transaction history for most tokens on Tangem. However, everything is viewable on the blockchain as well.
@@cyberscrilla So if we choose to NOT use a seed phrase and our phone is lost then there is no recovering crypto? Wouldnt the "Access code/password" assist in recover after one gets a new phone?
@@52msdiane You're correct. Losing your phone does not mean you'd lose your crypto. You just use your access code to regain access on a new phone. I'm talking about losing your Tangem cards.

About the "blind signing". Do Tangem prevent clipboard security? Simple malware can detect for example a bitcoin address, and replace that adres, when you past it, the malware btc adres is in place.
Thanks for another great review. A question for you @cybercrilla: I originally set up my Tangem without a seed phrase. It all works fine. However, I am considering to generate a seed phrase myself after all. Is this possible to do with my existing cards?
Thanks for watching. To do that, you would need to transfer all your crypto out of your Tangem wallet (to an exchange or a hot wallet temporarily), factory reset your cards, set them up again using a seed phrase, then transfer your crypto back.
I was searching for a cold wallet and was undecided between the SafePal S1 Pro or the Tangem cards. I decided to go with the SafePal because you can create a passphrase, upgrade the firmware and you have more visibility when signing a transaction. Other than that I loved the Tangem and it was also compatible with my cryptos.
if you worried about the screen i think you should not in crypto because in the beginning in order to fund your wallet your fund need to put first in centralized xchange and send your coins into you wallet but if you send you must first trust on the screen of you gadets that the address of you hardware wallet that you copied will not change
I love your new cap another good video i bought my Tangem card before I now you to Amazon do you think I need to buy a new one from the Tangem website to be the safe side or do you think I am on okay thank you.
You’re fine. The app won’t let you setup a fake wallet. Moving forward, I would only buy wallets from the manufacturer’s website though. It would suck to waste money on a fake wallet.
Great content bro, i'm planning to get a cold wallet but not decided yet which one. The tangem app, will it work in an ipad? I'm planning to dedicate my ipad for managing my crypto tokens. Also if it will require internet connection to be able to manage the tokens?
Aren't you worried by blind signing and by displaying your seed phrase on your phone? If your hardware wallet has a display, it could ensure that you sign transactions that aren't fraudulent. And it can ensure your seed phrase is displayed securely.
No, it's not a concern until it becomes one. Currently, there is no known mobile malware that can affect the Tangem app. As I mentioned in the video, more than 1 million Tangem wallets have been sold, and not one has ever been hacked. In contrast, even popular wallets with screens have been hacked for their seed in the past. There's always going to be some level of risk when using any piece of tech; no device is 100% foolproof. Choose the device you believe will have the smallest impact if something goes wrong. For me, that's Tangem. Their tech and security have been on point.
@@cyberscrilla I understand your points and I also think that Tangem is a great product (I don't want to spread FUD - I much prefer to use Tangem than keeping my assets in an exchange). Regarding your comment "1 million Tangem wallets have been sold, not one has been hacked". And "In contrast, popular wallets with screens have been hacked", I think it is quite misleading however. I believe it's important to provide more market context to avoid any potential misunderstanding for your audience: Ledger and Trezor sold close to 10 million wallets combined. Tangem sold ~1.5 millions cards, not wallet. One wallet set contains 3 cards. So tangem sold 0.5million wallets. It's 20x less that the competition. Given this difference in market size, it’s understandable that hackers are more focused on the most popular wallets first.
How long before automated trading meets cold wallets? Bye bye exchange fees? You still have to pay network ( blockchains ) fees, but if you're not a ERC-20 maxi, you're good.
Helloooo love your channel. Have a question, when tangem and visa, connect. Will we be able to purchase crypto on tangem with the visa, or is it just tangem to visa purchase.thank you.
@@tbryant8200 Thanks! The Tangem/Visa card (Tangem Pay) will be a separate product. But if you hold crypto crypto, you still need a secure place to store your crypto such as the current Tangem wallet like the one in this video.
The fees are charged by the third party exchanges, not by Tangem. So it just depends on which exchanges are available for the coin you swap. And Tangem has been adding more partners to swap/buy/sell so fees should get better since there’s a larger variety.
I bought a Ledger and then a set of Tangem cards. The ledger after 1 year, well the screen is VERY dim now and very hard to read, there was also a problem with the connection cable. I much prefer the way the tangem card works with no moving parts and no cables to connect or screen to go wrong
Just used your code to order mine today! Unfortunately, it’s still on pre order. Can I start buying crypto in the app now or should I wait until I get my cards?
Really depends on your preference as “best” is subjective. Both wallets will secure your crypto for years to come. But other things you might want to consider are: • Does the wallet support the tokens you want to hold (or any potential tokens you might hold in the future) • Do you prefer using a desktop or mobile device to manage your crypto (Tangem is mobile only, Trezor is mainly a desktop wallet) • Do you travel a lot (if so you might want something more convenient and durable like Tangem) or if you’re more of a homebody Trezor could be perfect. • Do you desire additional security features such as Shamir backup (Trezor supports this, Tangem doesn’t) • Do you mind updating the wallet’s firmware every so often (Trezor hardware requires consistent updates, Tangem you only ever need to update the mobile app)
You can still use the cards and the app even if Tangem goes out of business. The cards/app aren’t reliant on Tangem servers for basic functions like sending/receiving crypto. So would still be able to transfer funds even if Tangem ceases to exist
So do you have to withdraw from an exchange to the wallet and then if your want to sell crypto on your tangem, do you have to send it back to the exchange?
Depends on what you’re trying to sell. Certain coins you can sell directly from Tangem. Others you might have to send back to an exchange to sell. This is completely normal. The most important thing is that you keep your crypto in a cold storage device like Tangem will it appreciates in value so it’s safe. Then once you’re ready to sell, you sell and take profit.
Do you think it would make for a good video to give newbies warnings on how you could get scammed into losing your BTC ...apart from the obvious of the exchange being hacked.. what kind of ways do we need to be aware of.. this would be really good to know from the start as I have heard of people that arent newbies still being scammed out of thousands..
Just to confirm, if you for example have 2 or 3 Tangem cards and you lose 2 of them, can you buy 2 more Tangem cards and use those as new backups? Edit: Just decided to order thanks for the perfect explaination of the card Cyber, also used your referral code to support you :)
If you setup your cards using a seed phrase you can do this by importing your seed phrase using the new cards. But if you set it up as a seedless wallet, no, you can’t add more cards as backups later. You’d have to create a new wallet and transfer your crypto to it. But with a seed phrase, you can’t add import it into any brand wallet to recover your funds (not just tangem) Thanks for your support! - Alex
The only draw back to tangem is they don’t let you install the app on an iPad with no NCF reader. I wish they would let us install it on an iPad, as I really don’t like using it on a cell phone with a SIM chip.
Well you need an NFC reader to use the card, so it makes sense. You can you an old phone without sim if you have one. But you still need to connect it to the app to the internet, just like any hardware wallet app

@@garrettsur1055 Being airgapped it's probably the safest hardware wallet on the market. And it doesn't use a third party interface. It allows you to export your XPUB to one of many third party UI apps. Sparrow, Nunchuk, Blue, Electrum, Wasabi, etc, etc.
So your saying if you have your 24 words key but all your cards are destroyed. You can go to another product or exchange to recover your tokens? You can also wait for the new cards to come to you. Is this correct
You’re not making the seed phrase “online”. It’s generated by the app and the private key is transferred to the cards using the Diffie-Hellman key protocol. You can generate the seed phrase with no internet if you want, but, the next step (activating the cards) requires an internet connection to verify card/firmware authenticity.
I’ll try to review it. But, I’m not a fan of hardware wallets that don’t use a secure element-which is the industry standard. And Keepkey doesn’t use one.
@@darriola2185 agreed! There’s no perfect wallet, they all have their own use cases. At the end of the day, as long as my crypto is secure and I can access it whenever, I’m happy. And yes, the ring is really cool!
Nope, if you set up your Tangem wallet using seedless option, you can still recover your crypto as long as you have your cards and your access code. Or if you set up your tangent wallet, using a seed phrase, even if you lose your phone and all your cards, you can still recover your crypto by importing your seed phrase into a new wallet (any brand).
I have been considering this wallet but this is what bothers me. What about BTC UTXO management. As far as I can tell, if I have some small UTXO's and want to consolidate, the only solution is to dump the entire contents of the wallet to another wallet and then transfer back in proper UTXO sizes. Is this correct? Tangem doesn't connect to wallets like sparrow where you can pick specific UTXO's to consolidate or I'm I missing something.
It depends on the coin/token. Not all coins are available to buy/sell/swap using Tangem app. Make sure your app is up to date too. But if you can’t sell directly in the app, you’ll need to send back to an exchange to sell (this is usually what I do) only takes a couple minutes
The firmware is not open source due to the NDA they have with the secure element chip manufacturer (Samsung). Which btw most wallet’s chips are closed source due to these NDAs. That said, the Tangem app is 100% open source and viewable on GitHub
Only issue I have with Tangem is you have to create your seed Phrase using your phone. Unless you have a completely new phone I would worry risk of malware getting the seed words while setting it up. Trezor it is created on the device
It’s not likely. There’s no known malware that can infiltrate the app. It’s also only displayed long enough for you to record it, it’s not stored anywhere on the device or in the app. But I get it.
So,,,how many cards do you run? In my case I have maybe 20 cryptos spread over a couple of electronic wallets and an Exchange. Noot like I'm going to move them all off, it is penny ante stuff, $10 herem $40 there type thing. Can I shove multiples on one? Do you make a second Cloned wallet just in case and what happens if the App Ghosts and cannot be replaced like Javascript or Window95?
A hardware wallet, like Tangem, stores your private keys securely, which are needed to access your crypto. You can store multiple cryptocurrencies on one wallet using the same private key (seed phrase). If the app you’re using becomes unavailable, as long as you have your seed phrase, you can recover all your crypto on another wallet that supports the same standard (like BIP39). You don’t need multiple wallets for each cryptocurrency; one wallet can securely hold all your assets.
@@cyberscrilla unlikely agree, but unfortunately I know some London stories of “get your phone out” checking for crypto apps- that’s not going to decrease
If that is a concern for you-I recommend not carrying any money with you anywhere you go and use common sense. Or at least, don’t carry your hardware wallet.
Anytime you have a single sig wallet, a $5 wrench stack is the biggest threat. Carrying the phone and cad together neither adds no subtracts from that. The only real ingle point of failure is your password. They would have to beat that out of you as well. Or just come to your home and threaten your family. Don't worry about it. Anytime you have money, that is an issue. Just don't walk down the street waving your Tangem card and telling strangers how much money is on it. 🤣
@@31sfga88 Yes. You sell the crypto using the app, then the 3rd party exchange will exchange it for you, turn it into USD, and send it to your bank. Just be aware the sell option isn’t available for all cryptos in the app, so you might have to convert something to USDT for example, then sell it.
So if the keys are stored in the card and you setup opting for a 24 word seed, when you restore to MetaMask you wouldn’t be able to use the coins right?
Couple things: First, MetaMask supports importing a 24 word seed. So if you generate a 24 word seed using your Tangem wallet, it’s possible to import it into MetaMask. Secondly, you should NEVER import your hardware wallet seed phrase into a hot wallet like MetaMask as that defeats the purpose of the cold storage.
@@cyberscrilla Dont we need to use a hardware wallet signature/approval to send transactions? Thank you for the great review. However, it seems that a single set of Tangem Cards cannot support both a ‘seed phrase wallet’ and a ‘seed phrase + passphrase wallet’ simultaneously. It appears that one set of Tangem Cards can only manage one of these two types of wallets.
Correct. I mean, you can use one set. But you’d just have to reset the cards, import the phrase again (with or without the passphrase) and access each wallet accordingly. That’s why it’s just easiest to buy 2 packs of cards.
@@cyberscrilla Thank you. I might need 2 packs of cards as well. It seems safer to keep a small amount in a standard wallet that uses only a seed phrase.
I got a tangem wallet after watching some of your videos. I only wish you could create your own seed phrase instead of having one generated for you. This could mean that you would have your seed phrase in your head instead of having to write it down and store it.
That’s not how any crypto wallet works. All seed phrases are generated from a pre determined list of 2000 words. Then the secure element chip inside the wallet use a true random number generate to randomly generate amaster key, which is used to generate your unique seed phrase. The likelihood of someone or something guessing your seed phrase is virtually non existent. You’re more likely to be struck by lightning, multiple times per day, every day of your life, than someone guessing your seed phrase. And you can still remember the seed phrase the wallet generates. So I’m not sure what you mean there
@cyberscrilla I don't want a randomly generated seed phrase that I have to remember. I would rather use my own seed phrase. You could use a quote or the first 12 words of your favorite book as an example. So many wallets, so many seed phrases to remember. If I could create my own it would be much easier. Love your videos BTW. Great information. Thanks!
Again, that’s not how any crypto wallets work, and that would be extremely dangerous actually. But I get what you mean. The current “random” method is the most secure. Thanks for watching!!
@cyberscrilla Thanks for the reply. I understand that's not how they work and it could be less secure. Does Tangum support Base network? I can't find any coins from Base. I hope they add Base network.
@WindsorStinks yes, Tangem supports Base. You have to add tokens by going to settings, manage tokens, then search for tokens you want to add. If you don’t see your tokens listed, you have to add them manually. Under the manage tokens tab, tap the + icon and enter the details for the token you want to add
@@cyberscrilla No I was wondering which app you used for the nfc but now I just found out that my phone doesn't even support it. Smh. Gonna have to buy a whole new phone as I actually bought Tangem earlier in the day yesterday.
@@Abundance8. What are you talking about? You can’t store coins on Uniswap. Uniswap is a platform for swapping crypto, not a wallet. Tangem is safe for longterm.
Yes and no. Once you create a wallet, you can’t modify it. So if you initially set it up without a seed phrase and later decide you want a seed phrase, you’d have to do a factory reset on your cards and setup a new wallet using the seed phrase option. If you do this, you MUST transfer your crypto out of your wallet first, as resetting the cards means you’d lose access to your crypto since your cards are the backup. Then setup the new wallet, and transfer your crypto back to your new wallet. So, if you think you’ll want a seed phrase later, it’s best to just set it up that way.
@@cyberscrilla@cyberscrilla, many thanks for the reply. Is there a cost to transfer to another wallet? Second question, if I get another tangem wallet can I run both from my phone? cheers again
@@cyberscrilla couple more questions if you don't mind If I get another Tangem wallet, is there a cost when transferring the crypto over? And your crypto is only transferred to the wallet when you tap your phone with the card, is that correct?
Yes, you pay blockchain fees anytime you send crypto (unrelated to Tangem). And yes, you can acccess your Tangem wallet on any phone as long as you have your cards and your access code.
Uniswap, yes using walletconnect. Currently you can’t connect Tangem to any dapps outside of Ethereum virtual machine (EVM) such as Solana platforms. However, Tangem is working on this as we speak. That said, you can buy/sell/swap/bridge/stake crypto directly in the Tangem app-so you won’t always need to use a DEX.
Couple things. 1. You can only have 3 backups if you choose use the Tangem cards as your only backup. Whereas you can create as many seed phrase backups as you want. Also, you’re still relying on tech. The cards are great, they’re durable, but it’s still tech. I’d rather keep my phrase engraved in a solid piece of metal. 2. You are stuck using Tangem unless you transfer your crypto to a new wallet. Whereas if you know your seed, you can import it into basically any brand hardware wallet and access your crypto.

New to crypto & interested with BTC. There are UTXOs. Is it a headache doing BTC transactions in Tangem?
I like them all. Ledger has never been hacked, that was the was on Github dev.
You are referring to something else. The hack I referenced in this video, is here:
techcrunch.com/2018/03/21/a-15-year-old-hacked-the-secure-ledger-crypto-wallet/
To be fair, it wasn’t so much of a hack as a potential concern, but Ledger has since solved this concern through a simple update.
Yeah, the ledger FUD is pretty over the top. I get the it but tbh it’s still above and beyond keeping your BTC on the exchanges. Feel like the diehards really need to keep perspective.

There is a transaction history for most tokens on Tangem. However, everything is viewable on the blockchain as well.

About the "blind signing". Do Tangem prevent clipboard security? Simple malware can detect for example a bitcoin address, and replace that adres, when you past it, the malware btc adres is in place.
“No known mobile malware can exploit apps like Tangem with a robust security architecture.“ - Tangem
@barttech can you explain what this is ? I’m learning from your response
This is really a game changer, I have trezor but later switched to tangem
Thanks for another great review. A question for you @cybercrilla: I originally set up my Tangem without a seed phrase. It all works fine. However, I am considering to generate a seed phrase myself after all. Is this possible to do with my existing cards?
Thanks for watching.
To do that, you would need to transfer all your crypto out of your Tangem wallet (to an exchange or a hot wallet temporarily), factory reset your cards, set them up again using a seed phrase, then transfer your crypto back.
@@cyberscrilla thanks for your response. I now know what to do! Appreciate it!
Might be worth trying Tangem still. Affordable, enjoyable to use, plus it’s always a good idea to have at least 2 cold wallets for backup.
if you worried about the screen i think you should not in crypto because in the beginning in order to fund your wallet your fund need to put first in centralized xchange and send your coins into you wallet but if you send you must first trust on the screen of you gadets that the address of you hardware wallet that you copied will not change
Great video! Just to confirm if I buy/sell XRP on tangem then I will pay a small fee?
Correct, you pay a fee to the third party exchange that executes the swap for you.

Great content bro, i'm planning to get a cold wallet but not decided yet which one. The tangem app, will it work in an ipad? I'm planning to dedicate my ipad for managing my crypto tokens. Also if it will require internet connection to be able to manage the tokens?
iPads don’t have NFC so no :/
Aren't you worried by blind signing and by displaying your seed phrase on your phone?
Given this difference in market size, it’s understandable that hackers are more focused on the most popular wallets first.
i have the same concern by importing my seed phrase in the app...
How long before automated trading meets cold wallets? Bye bye exchange fees? You still have to pay network ( blockchains ) fees, but if you're not a ERC-20 maxi, you're good.

Thanks for the video, how about the fees for buy, sell, swap and stake? I understood the fees are high comparatively, can you comment on it ? Thanks

Which wallets are best for Long term Holding? Am 4 years experienced in crypto ,Tangem or Trezor?
Really depends on your preference as “best” is subjective.
Both wallets will secure your crypto for years to come. But other things you might want to consider are:
• Does the wallet support the tokens you want to hold (or any potential tokens you might hold in the future)
• Do you prefer using a desktop or mobile device to manage your crypto (Tangem is mobile only, Trezor is mainly a desktop wallet)
• Do you travel a lot (if so you might want something more convenient and durable like Tangem) or if you’re more of a homebody Trezor could be perfect.
• Do you desire additional security features such as Shamir backup (Trezor supports this, Tangem doesn’t)
• Do you mind updating the wallet’s firmware every so often (Trezor hardware requires consistent updates, Tangem you only ever need to update the mobile app)

In case of Tangem going out of business, you said you can recover your crypto with your seed phrase but what about seedless cards?

If you setup your cards using a seed phrase you can do this by importing your seed phrase using the new cards.
But if you set it up as a seedless wallet, no, you can’t add more cards as backups later. You’d have to create a new wallet and transfer your crypto to it.
But with a seed phrase, you can’t add import it into any brand wallet to recover your funds (not just tangem)

So your saying if you have your 24 words key but all your cards are destroyed. You can go to another product or exchange to recover your tokens? You can also wait for the new cards to come to you. Is this correct
Yes, correct. With your seed phrase you can import it into a new wallet (practically any brand) and continue managing your crypto.
Hey man, if u lose all your tangem cards but you have a seed phrase created, can u import your wallet into a new tangem card ?
Yes you can. Or to any brand wallet, doesn’t even have to be another Tangem wallet. Could be Ledger, Trezor, etc.
But you’re making the seed phrase online. Does it have a way of making the seed phrase off line?
You’re not making the seed phrase “online”.
It’s generated by the app and the private key is transferred to the cards using the Diffie-Hellman key protocol.
You can generate the seed phrase with no internet if you want, but, the next step (activating the cards) requires an internet connection to verify card/firmware authenticity.
What are your thoughts on keepkey wallets? Would you do a video on them?
I’ll try to review it. But, I’m not a fan of hardware wallets that don’t use a secure element-which is the industry standard.
And Keepkey doesn’t use one.

If I lose my phone with the tangem app, would I lose access to the crypto tangem card?
Nope, if you set up your Tangem wallet using seedless option, you can still recover your crypto as long as you have your cards and your access code.
Or if you set up your tangent wallet, using a seed phrase, even if you lose your phone and all your cards, you can still recover your crypto by importing your seed phrase into a new wallet (any brand).
Are large amounts safe to just hold and leave on the the tangem wallet
Yes, why wouldn’t it be?
I have been considering this wallet but this is what bothers me. What about BTC UTXO management. As far as I can tell, if I have some small UTXO's and want to consolidate, the only solution is to dump the entire contents of the wallet to another wallet and then transfer back in proper UTXO sizes. Is this correct? Tangem doesn't connect to wallets like sparrow where you can pick specific UTXO's to consolidate or I'm I missing something.

What do you think about ledger!?
I like Ledger and I use their products as well. Tangem is my go-to wallet though.
Thanks for sharing. How come I can’t sell my coins on Tangem Wallet? I can buy, send and swap but not sell
It depends on the coin/token. Not all coins are available to buy/sell/swap using Tangem app. Make sure your app is up to date too.
But if you can’t sell directly in the app, you’ll need to send back to an exchange to sell (this is usually what I do) only takes a couple minutes
@ Thank you very much for replying
Are those open source?
Have tangem but I did not create my seed phrase.. I used the one it provides

So if the keys are stored in the card and you setup opting for a 24 word seed, when you restore to MetaMask you wouldn’t be able to use the coins right?
Couple things:
First, MetaMask supports importing a 24 word seed. So if you generate a 24 word seed using your Tangem wallet, it’s possible to import it into MetaMask.

It’s never a bad idea to diversify your funds/have several hardware wallets.
If I get Tangem and don’t want to use a seed phrase, I still have to remember a password for the wallet, correct?
Kind of. Just the access code. Which you can reset if you want to.
@@cyberscrillaThanks
Reset passcode would not rest the card?
No. That’s only if you factory reset the cards. And access code is just that-a code used to access the cards
Smart man wish I sold to tether but I got patience and dont need the money right now
I didn’t sell anything to tether. I have all my investments on several different wallets.
What nfc card reader do you use?
You don’t use an NFC card reader for Tangem. You just use your NFC compatible phone.
@@cyberscrilla No I was wondering which app you used for the nfc but now I just found out that my phone doesn't even support it. Smh. Gonna have to buy a whole new phone as I actually bought Tangem earlier in the day yesterday.
lol, people are worried if they had millions in crypto. most of these folkstelling you it's not secure have a $200 portfolio lmao
@@paladdin1500 For real.
Bro it safe to keep half coin in tangem and the rest in uniswap for long term..
@@Abundance8. What are you talking about? You can’t store coins on Uniswap. Uniswap is a platform for swapping crypto, not a wallet. Tangem is safe for longterm.
Hello, thank you for the vids
If I set up the wallet without the phrase, can I re-setup to add the phrase
@@cyberscrilla couple more questions if you don't mind
If I get another Tangem wallet, is there a cost when transferring the crypto over?
And your crypto is only transferred to the wallet when you tap your phone with the card, is that correct?
Yes, you pay blockchain fees anytime you send crypto (unrelated to Tangem). And yes, you can acccess your Tangem wallet on any phone as long as you have your cards and your access code.
@@cyberscrilla thank you very much very kind 😀
Nice video!
Thanks!
Great video! Well done!
Thanks Rob!
Can you connect to dexs such as uniswap and jupiter?
Uniswap, yes using walletconnect.
Currently you can’t connect Tangem to any dapps outside of Ethereum virtual machine (EVM) such as Solana platforms.
However, Tangem is working on this as we speak.
That said, you can buy/sell/swap/bridge/stake crypto directly in the Tangem app-so you won’t always need to use a DEX.
What is the 10% off code ?

I dont understand why having a seed phrase is better, its not like losing a card is more likely than losing a seed phrase or am I missing something? 😊
Hopefully that helps.
