Guy Boucher was the Power Play coach for Team Canada Junior with Matt Duchene playing. He got a power play hat trick in that tournament in a game, and Canada won the gold that year.

Nope, Kyle wanted 7-8 years from Ottawa and wouldn't budge. Dorion said in the presser with Duchene.
Don't forget Nashville also now has Bonino who is currently hurt but is about to come back on Saturday.
The Avs are also down a lot of players due to injury, it'll be interesting to see who steps up to take that role.

Steve to get dogs to stop digging holes, put their poop in a current hole and then cover said poop with dirt, when your dog(s) proceed to dig in the hole they will stop because they will come across their poop, it makes some kind of mental wall to come up that makes them think they are digging where they are going to the bathroom, and will cause them to stop digging, it worked for my dogs

I have to think faceoff violation is a bench minor because two players need to be removed from the faceoff for that penalty and you can't call those two. And the delay of game, I don't think that's applying to shooting the puck out of play, but the more traditional delay of game before the out of play rule was a thing.
I can't think the too many men was Moores fault because it was a d, Carrick, who jumped on the ice (with no one changing so I'm pretty sure we can blame him)
Also Doughty grew up a Kings fan, I don't think he's going anywhere

Soooo, now that the Avs rebuild is finally, truly underway all they need to do is deal Eric Johnson and Landeskog for picks/prospects, tank the season, win the lottery, buy out Soderberg (no one can trade that contract, no matter the patience) and then sign Jagr cheaply for some mandatory 'Veteran presence' !

Avs made the playoffs that year and OTT missed it. Erik, Stone and Duchene all gone.
Turris knows he won't have to pay as much tax in Nashville. No need for extra years or money to make up for the 850K or so he'd lose per year in Ottawa.

Again all the doubts about the Sens....mortgaging their future. You guys should do your homework on the depth of young talent this organisation has at the moment: Chabot, White, Brown, Chlapik, Formenton etc... Next year first rounder will probably be a late one, Bowers was a first pick yes, but on one of the weakest draft of all time....and finally Turris wasn't going to resign anyway with the Sens. Dorion was very good not trading any bluechips players and get Duchene...Yes this trade will help us get to the next level I think! Hazdeane an overpay is an overpay it doesn't matter that they have other prospects. They traded down and were the team that gave up extra. As a Sens fan its a bad trade. Luckily theyre good at drafting and development because they cant make a good trade to save their life.

Finally figuring out that Gardiner is not elite! I hate watching him on the ice. Yeah, he can put on a show a couple of times a game but he's terrible the rest of the game. He's afraid of body contact (I would be too but I'm not getting paid for it). He abhors the corners and is timid in front of the net. I don't see his contract being renewed if he asks for a penny more than he's getting.

Ive watched Duchene since he was in Junior. Hes never learned how to be "the guy". Even in junior he was the 2nd line center to Cody Hodgson. He got drafted cause of his skating. Trust me hes not even a 1A. Hes a 2nd line center.
