I just love watching your lives Kimberly even when they are recorded. I love your honesty. I have made a portion of my quilts that I just don't like in the end. Some I love of course and even some of the ones that I have tried a different colorway outside of my own comfort zone. I keep experimenting with scrappy. I have some Moda fat quarters now from joining your club for a while. I think my next step is to break into those even if I add in some extra fabric. So many projects I have already started LOL and seeing your shows I always want to start even more. Thank you very much for all your wonderful content and so many free patterns that you keep giving us. Your cheerful nature is so needed by me and I dare say our world. After four months of looking and submitting at least 100 resumes, my husband just got hired. I'm so grateful and might even allow myself more subscriptions. xx Karen🤗
Beautiful quilts! My most favorite is your Moda Blockheads quilt. The fabric collection and layout are perfect. I am always inspired by Lori Holt and my next quilt will be something out of one of her books. I'm just not sure yet. Have a great trip, Kimberly!
I do like the Lori Holt quilts the Best. I would not make your multi quilts with the different fabric lines, but I would make the quilt using one fat quarter bundle. Maybe it’s the many colors. Your work is beautiful, your piecing is top notch! I’m impressed that you get so much done! You are an inspiration to quilters! Thank you Kimberly!

Prairie Home Quilts book is worth every penny!! There are so many beautiful patterns included in the book; photos are lovely .... just a pleasure to look through. Going to make the Trees With Stars table topper first. The kits are sold out already, but I bet I have enough Lori Holt fabric to make it!
I love Lori’s book Prairie Home. There are so many quilts I want to do from that book. I like that it is spiral bound as well so that it lays flat. I got the half yard limited addition Bee bundles in the prints and backgrounds. I collect Lori’s fabric so I can substitute from that to make some of the quilts. I can’t wait to get started.
I can appreciate that Kimberly doesn’t love her ‘out of the box’ quilts, but it is so nice see them done and some of us really love them. I do like to see all the different work she does/gets done, but some weeks I feel like I should have worn my bonnet and that I should be in a rocker 😂!!

If you’re concerned about your backing and binding going with a quilt top, my solution is to start with the backing as the inspiration for what goes in the top.

The Kona 2024 large block quilt was AWESOME. You need to step out of your box way more often.
I love the star Christmas quilt from this year. I made it and have it quilted. I have enough fabric to make another.
I stitch everyday for at least an hour. That's what I do when I'm watching/ listening to the news.
The scrappy star quilt is so beautiful. It is an amazing idea to use different collections for each block.

Hello Kim! Kimberly uses soft n stable for some of her smaller projects but she mostly uses the same batting.
