I agree as well. I know their job is to sell all new stuff but including some books from the past with new fabrics would be awesome.
I would love to see you continue to sew blocks with your published books. This shows us how to use newer fabrics on older patterns. Please stop apologizing for how “YOU” do things. Everyone does things differently. I starch everything now and I am getting very accurate results. Girl, I don’t know how you can get everything you’ve got going on done. Thanks for always showing us a different way to do things.
I’d like to see a tutorial on flange binding and also scalloped edges and how to apply binding on curves. Kimberly always makes things look easy.
And how to make piping and turn the corners with it.

I LOVE IT when you are picky about seams, squaring up, etc. LOL Keep it coming! I would also love to see more tips about mistakes & "fixing" them--we all make them, but many people have brilliant work arounds.
Love any ideas and tips. When you make mistakes it’s show us you are human too and not everyone is perfect.
I would love to see a Sew With Me video where you pull from your scraps and work on one of your scrappy projects. Most of the time you seem to always have coordinating fabrics. I have a huge bin of oddly shaped scraps and would love to see something with scraps!

Love that you showed a quilt from a book that is older with new fabrics. Usually, you make (or not) the quilt you bought the book for then it just goes on a shelf with all the others, never to be used again. Sometimes the fabric choice makes the quilt!
I think that this has been one of my favorite sew with me video’s. I like that she talked about using what you have which has become my mantra as of late since my husband retired. I am finding that I am getting greater pleasure in my sewing when I don’t have to put out extremes amount of money to feel like I am getting the latest and greatest. It really takes the pressure off. Thank you for the ideas!
Watching you do the process of making a block from start to trim down is my happy place. Fabric choices for each block is always informative. Discussion of contrast between fabrics is helpful for most sewers. Thanks for all you do.
I think I learn more when there is a “mistake” made so we can see how to fix it. When things go perfectly all the time, you don’t learn as much. Thanks for pulling out this book and doing a demo with it.

I look forward to your videos every week. Don't always get to watch on Fridays but catch up during the week and usually learn something new. It would be interesting to see how to sew different blocks, i.e., cat's cradle, and some other unique blocks.
I would like to see more tutorials on mini-quilts; door hangers; banners, etc. that can be pieced...NOT appliqued. But thank you for all the tutorials you do! I always learn something new every time.
I, too,, would like to see a video on selecting colors for a block. Maybe have Kimberly share her "go to" blocks for a no-brainer quilt.

Kimberly, I like when you show us how to use your Half square triangles, flying geese and log cabin papers on a roll. What a great idea. All you do is wonderful for new quilters. That's me for sure. It's encouraging to see that the experts make mistakes too! You sure own your mistakes!

I would love to see different ways to bind a quilt, how to make different styles of borders ( scalloped, all squares, prairie, etc) and how to square up a big quilt. This was a great video - I want to try length of fabric borders now!

I am loving the scrappy quilts you are doing. We get to see the blocks when you are done, but not the process of selecting which scraps go where, etc. I think a video where you walk us through your process would be great for those of us who struggle to sew scrappy.
I don't have any ideas, just watch and learn, as every time you do a tutorial, I learn something new. Love the reunion quilt. I think I'll do a similar idea for a chemo quilt for my daughter with thoughts from individual family members.

Thank you for the video! Don’t apologize for taking time off to be with your family. I use the Creative Grids Perfect 5 ruler more than any other ruler. It is just the right size for squaring up HSTs! I would like to see more of videos just like this. Taking older books and patterns and sew with current fabric lines. I also like using fabrics from my stash.

I'd like to see more patterns that use a layer cake. When a fabric line comes out and I have no plans in place I tend to buy a layer cake of the new fabric. Then when I go to use it I seem to struggle finding good layer cake patterns. Thanks so much for all you do! Livestreams are always fabulous!

I like to see things like bags, including adding a zipper, making different pillows from quilt blocks similar to the quilts we make. As well as, different and unusual quilt techniques such as cathedral window and Dresden plates.
