$97.88 Dell Precision Tower 3620 Desktop PC 4.00GHz Core i7-6700K 32GB RAM 500GB No OS. I simply installed a GTX 1070 and a boot SSD and my GF can now play 99% of games.
Better case swap it too 😂
Did you Get A New Psu, Or Did You Just Use Sata To Pcie
@@Itz_Waflle the PSU it came is a good power supply with a 6 pin power connector. I believe I used a 6 to 8 pin connector. A lot of people believe you need 600+ watts, but I believe it came with a Gold 450w PSU which has worked just fine. In fact, we just played RDR2 yesterday and she was getting a stable 60fps at 1080p.
Edit: just checked and it's actually a 365w PSU, and yes I used a 6 to 8 pin PCIE power connector for the GTX 1070. I also noticed that I actually put 2 separated SSD's. One for boot drive (128GB), and the other is a 2TB Micron SSD.
Made two of these builds. I5-8500 + GTX 1660 Super. Upgraded the cooler, Painted them white and add a side window. They sell like hotcakes.
Also benchmarks are looking fire!! 🔥
I did this exact built.. works great 👍🏼
Nice bro! 💪
Great video. Back to some old-School Elijahs Lab basics! Taking some inspiration from this video, I'm upgrading an HP Ryzen 3 Desktop with a GTX 1650 Super and 500gb sata ssd. Should be a nice little flip and give great performance at a very low price
That’ll be another capable e sports machine
Great video Elijah ❤ I am thinking of starting for flip PCs but not sure what budget to go with . Would you be able to list some good budget performing items please. Thank you
Love your videos
I don't know why but I'm always attracted to Dell Optiplex cases, they are compact and somewhat good for minimal type of setups.
W video, please do more content like this
Another banger
Love the vid; did the same thing with my dads vostro 3671 but i put in a GTX 1650 instead works like a charm
Glad you showed the comment about not showing proof. I was thinking why wouldn't I believe I literally saw the video of you buying dome.
elijah be keeping me up past my bedtime
another w vid from elijah
Heck yeah, loving the i7/GTX 1050 Ti Combo!
I bought a HP Z240 for 40 euros, and a 1060 6gb for 50 euros. So all in for 90 euros: i7 6700, gtx 1060 6gb, 250gb ssd, 500gb hdd, and 16gb ram. That's a steal, right?
Would like to see a video with these optiplex builds tested with retro game emulation
Dayum, I would definitely buy that pc for around $250, great video man. Hopefully you reach 100k soon!
Love the videos I had a question can I put a 1660 super in a 7040 dell ?
The colors on the game recording look better but the fps still looks like 24 (probably is).
No it’s set to 60 😭😭
@@ElijahsLablooks Aite to me 🤷
@@ElijahsLab nope its 24 frames check video stats
@@ElijahsLabif it were set to 60 your video would be labeled as 60 FPS within TH-cam. It’s not.
Check to see what framerate you’re exporting the video at.
@@PieStudios I second this, it's definitely 24 FPS so check what FPS you're exporting the video from your editing software is set to.
you also have to keep in mind that he is also recording so it’s probably like 15-30 fps higher than what it is on the game by its self
nice Video but for example you could used a SATA to 6pin adapter for a GTX 1060 6GB.
If u can please include PuBG PC aswell in benchmark because its perfect BR as ots heavy on both cpu and gpu equally
elijah do you download these games to test them again and again for each pc or do you have a disk which you just attach and it works
Hey Elijah! I have a question, will you do next episode of flipping PCs until I buy a house... I want to see my donate 🤣. Cheers
I paid 100 bucks in my country for a 1050ti oc with box and everything, I wish here we had the same deals
Back then I got a HP Z230 for 73 USD in 2022 and using the GTX 1650 gddr6 lp that I pulled out from my older i5 2500 sff pc (I bought 1650 for 168 USD back in mid 2020, while I got that i5 2500 sff pc for free, which makes my hp z230 technically costs total 240 USD).
I had made several benchmark (systematic benchmark, some 3a title, video editing and web browsing etc) on that HP Z230 with my GTX 1650 being overclocked (+150mhz core/+1000mhz memory) and comparing it with ASUS TUF A15 gaming laptop (Ryzen 7 7940HS + RTX 4070 mobile) and dell workstation (i7 13700 + RTX 4060 desktop), and I found that HP Z230 can able to do a lot of things, and even many 3a title if your standard is low enough. However, some newer games like Stafield can only playable if it had FSR3 Frame generation on (otherwise it would struggle to run in even 720p lowest settings), and doing 4k video editing might be living hell due to the quad core i7.
While $240USD might be overpriced for such spec even back in 2022, it's really blows up my mind to see how it captable for almost anything (just slower) while such overpriced thing is still cost less than the 8700G and rtx 4060 alone
Here's how my hp z230 performs:

Are the stutter looking benchmarks video clips because of recording software?
Hey, I am interested in doing this but I am afraid of it not selling. I found one for $209 CAD with ssd. The plan is to resell it ( without gpu upgrade ) but I see businesses selling the computer for $125 CAD.
I bought 5 worh i7 7700s from a local recycling company. Gonna be great profits
I'm not pro on PC build. But we can't upgrade the CPU right?
big W video
Glad your starting to like resurgence! Quick question for testing your pcs, do you install all the games on each ssd or do you have ssd you use to test(does that even work?)
you can do either at least with steam, in the steam settings - library , you want to add the jump drive or the external drive as an additional library, then steam scans the drive and it should update steam on what games are Installed in your system
Would this be good for blender and adobe? 🤔
yo how'd you record the gameplay?
5040 is good too and even cheaper.
Id wager to say the HP z440 is a way better buy.
Like someone said here already the gameplay's still looks low fps. You should check your exporting settings for the video to get it smooth. But still a good video tho, great job.
Is it your capture card which is making the games look choppy and stutter even with 60+ fps? Next time could you put the frame time graph in the benchmarks please. Great video :)
w elijah post
I see you were playing the finals in the beginning lol, how do you like that game? I've played it on and off since release and have been playing a lot recently, been really enjoying it it's super fun
😒👍 its good, you simply respawn when u die, i don't like Fortnite because its Permadeath, i dont like permadeath type games, just say no
Its a nice build for $250, but I don't like the Optiplexes that you can't change the power supply, the 1050ti is really holding the system back. It takes longer but I would rather do the research to get an Optilex or other prebuilt where the PSU can be upgraded. While you'd have the expense of a PSU, something like a 1060 is as cheap as the 1050ti and gives uch better performance.
I’ve been building office to gaming PC’s for a while now, and I can’t agree with your computer picks here. For $130, you could get a system with an i5 8500 which is going to smoke the piddly 4 core i7 6700 in modern titles.
Hey got into pc flipping because of your videos I just flipped my first pc last week and I just picked up a 1660 super off jawa for 65 bucks!
congrats, bench the card and make sure its not burning up and that it doesn't crash, use Heaven and run the hair donut from Furmark
❤️❤️
Can you play red dead redemption two on it

Any tips for selling an optiplex 7010 sff 13th gen i5? I got two for stupid cheap, and figured theyd be perfect to get me into flipping pcs, see them going for 500ish on ebau with np drive / ram, tossed a 1tb hdd in it with win10, ans priced it at 450, and no hits for over 3 weeks..
I thought about tossing a 6400 in it and rasing the price just the price of the card, but dont wanna get deeper into them of im stuck with them.
🙂 the hard drive is fine but did you also install a small cheap M.2 SSD for Windows? And I assume you installed Windows 11 PRO and it automatically activated? You could also try installing a cheap video card and a handful of video games and seeing if theres any takers for a low spec gaming pc, some of the cheapest bus powered cards are: $10 Dell HD 7570 1GB DDR5 , $15 Dell HP R7 430 2GB GDDR5 , $23 Dell R7 450 4GB GDDR5 , $35 RX 460 RX 550, you need to show pictures of everything and take a pic of the game running and make sure msi afterburner is installed and that its large enough so that they can see how many FPS
I think I messed up. I got the optiplex 390 sff. I3 and igpu intel family. But I paid $20. All the upgrades I found on Amazon is going to cost nearly $300. But now reconsidering it.
😒 on amazon? uhm no, ur suppose to purchase used parts off of ebay or craigslist or thrift store, are u trying to turn this little box into a little Potato Gaming PC? Off the cuff it looks like u got a second gen Sandy Bridge oem board, so an i5 2400 is like 8 bucks or an i7 2600 4c 8t is 25, then if you have 4 ram slots u need 4sticks of 4gb of ddr3 1333mhz and it should have some dell markings on them, u need a beater video card so 10 bucks for a dell radeon hd 7570 1gb ddr5, and a used 2.5 SSD, then put it together and boot it up and install windows drivers afterburner heaven cinebench, lets go, this is nowhere near 300
Some of the footage looked like it was recorded in 30fps but idk if you did that on purpose
Yeah I noticed that aswell.
I built a ryzen 5 5600g based pc without any graphic card and after one month of usage just by clicking reset button the pc isn't turning on, what should I do? Should I pair a rtx 4060 with ryzen 5 5600g? Please someone help i am very much confused
🤔 did u wire up the front control panel properly? Fix the computer before you worry about video cards. So your saying that the motherboard doesn't Post nor Launch. You can't get into the Bios screen.
Should’ve used a 1060 I got 3 for 110 and I got 16 gb of ddr4 ram
i made a pc for flipping with gtx qtx 1070 ryzen 5 3600 these vengeance rgb pro 3200 16 gig 512gig m2 ssd 600w 80+ gold psu b450-A II mobo and some random deepcoal case with built in fans bc im lazy for around 488 bucks was it good and at what priez should i sell it
is the power supply at least Tier C on the PSU TIER LIST? what the exact motherboard and size, exact case model, so i can look it up
that normally sells for around 500 bucks, so unfortunately you wont make as large as a profit. Try listing it for 600, and accept offers 550 and up.
@@matthijsvandeweerd1415 idk where u live but where I live u get for 600 bucks u get a 11th gen cpu with integrated graphics or a 9th gen cpu with a 6 gig 3050 and that's kinda trash considering that the 8 gig Version is already weak er than the 1070
@@matthijsvandeweerd1415 I just checked for 500 bucks u get an Intel Pentium with 2 cores and a 1650 4gig
Question: for how much would you list this computer?
I listed it on Jawa for $300 + shipping
bro livin w yo ex buildin pcs and havin a banana mic is all i want lowkey
fansonly..!
Capture card looks good but still very low fps
DELL OPTIPLEXXXXXX,,, I HAVE THATTTT i have a sff tho😭😭
🙂 no problem, pickup a cheap low profile video card for it, for example you have: $10 Dell HD 7570 1GB DDR5 , $15 Dell HP R7 430 2GB GDDR5 , $23 Dell R7 450 4GB GDDR5 , $35 RX 460 RX 550, theres other low profile cards too
@@MrSamadolfo yeah, i’m saving for an rx6400
@@NitroNate4653 🙂 cool, make sure the monitor is fairly recent and that it officially supports amd freesync and that it has an hdmi input and a displayport input
@@MrSamadolfo it is pretty recent, it’s a Samsung monitor
@@NitroNate4653 🙂 cool, make sure you have one hdmi cable and one displayport cable, some configurations are weird and you mite only get a signal out of one of the ports
does this works with a gtx 1650 or a gtx 1660 ssuper?
🙂 for oem prebuilts its best to stick with bus powered video cards, for example the 750, 750ti, 1050,1050ti, 1650, 3050 6gb, theres a ton of older radeon cards too like the RX 460 RX 550
PLEASE mention donos in next video !
I only do that in my flipping series. The donations don’t have anything to do with my other videos
@@ElijahsLab I figured, I kinda meant that as in release the next episode of the buying a house series, but by all means take your time to work the magic.
@@elianpaine5426 oh shoot. I noticed your username. Lookout for your name in the next episode 👀
Watch him sell it for $600 💀
Listed at $300. I feel that’s fair
0:10 "fans only"😭
I think the 1050 TI is too dated at this point and you need something like a 1650 for this kind of build
🙂 it depends on the video game and end user, he might be someone that just wants to play Roblox or Minecraft or Tomb Raider 2013
I got my ebay optiplex 7040 i5. 16 gb ddr4. No hard drive. $50.
my exact pc lol
Do you have any plans of upgrading soon?

I'm envious smh. How did you score a 1050Ti for only $20 ? That sure helps your profit margin. This is a great channel and I appreciate you sharing your progress and builds.
Thanks for testing valorant 🫶
