As a refurbisher, and often working on these PCs, every passing second of this video was an excruciating pain (special mention for the segment with the VGA cable, that one really hurt). And you know what? I'm all in! 👍
the reason why u couldnt see the gpu on yo task manager is bc the first time u turned on the pc w the new gpu, the gpu was wasnt turned on bc u didint turn the other psu on so it didint function and the gpu went on safe mode, basically its laggy bu if u turn it on via device manager "go device manager and display port right click the gpu enable it" you could jus turn it on usually it takes more than once bu it can work once aswell" that will make the gpu function correctly and u will see the gpu on task manager
Update the bios, and optimise windows, and if the motherboard supports it try to use a XMP profile, and do a clean install of the driver (Uninstall the old one in safe mode with DDU and install the new one from AMD site)
C'mon man. You could have at least put a low-profile GPU in the Optiplex. That is even better than adding a riser or extension cable. However, you could upgrade the CPU or RAM. But it has to be the right and specific parts.
1:13 dutch Putting the GPU 6 pin in the CPU power is one of the goofiest PC building mistakes I’ve ever seen, I didn’t even think they could even fit like that. Good thing it was like a $8 motherboard lmao
No offence intended but these vids are hilarious. Not sure if it's your no F's given attitude to the hardware or the general commentary either way keep up the good work sir.
Why did bro put a VGA cable in the CPU port??? 😭 That's like basic PC knowledge
How did it fit tho? As far as i knew the pci express connectors don't even have the same shape as the p4 connector?
@@Mirra2003-f9s Yes, the ports are different, but I'm guessing he just shoved em by force. All I know is that the mobo suffered a lot

This is the best video on TH-cam!
It's like a video blog of my exact experience, but with humor. Kudos!
As an Optiplex expert, it was hilarious watching you try to get that hard drive out. You were so close! 😂
VGA means its for the GPU so yes the motherboard is fried

The windows 10 install on the original hard drive was in Dutch not German. As a Dutch person, I feel offended.
wtf, why did you put the vga power cable in the cpu, hope you're joking..
