I got the 12 a little over a week ago and removed sim from s24 ultra and wow what great experience with the 12. I was really surprised at how good this phone is especially with the last update. 512 gig model OnePlus 12 is a beast with long lasting battery.

It's been a month, and I am so happy with the 12. Smooth UI, good cameras for the price, performance is top notch etc.
I heard there are issues with chrome browser, is it true?

I absolutely love the little things like the amazing haptics and being able to physically set the refresh rate on individual apps. Using the OnePlus 12 has been a great experience.
I pre-ordered two OnePlus 12's for $599 each and my husband and I both love them! No camera issues whatsoever and it takes better photos than my Pixel 6 Pro did. I love a curved screen but would have been happy with a flat screen too. Our previous phones were OnePlus 11's, which were also great but our 12's are even better!

So you mean to tell me, that even though you purchased 2 oneplus twelves for basically 1200$, those were still less than 1 whole samsung galaxy s24 ultra? That's definitely a win.
Pre-ordered my 12 and got it shortly after US launch. Love it. Battery life is amazing - it seems to get better the longer I use it.
I think your review, both pros and cons, are spot on except for the curved display, I think it’s easier to hold. Sucks looking for cases like you stated. I’m loving my OnePlus 12 and OP watch 2 so far, hope that feeling continues. Nice video!

its actually ip68 they just did not want to pay for the certification. if you look on youtube you can find videos of people fully submerging it in water for extended periods.
Thinking about getting one my self I have a bird n30 great phone I switched from the s22 ultra and had it ever since and thinking about upgrading to the 12 I like to play games on the phone and one thing that bummed me out it's not compatible with the mobile controller hoping the 12 will be

It's been stated that they didn't want to pay for the certification for IP68, if you watch any phone teardowns, you'll see the exact same rubber seals as any other IP68 rated phone..
There's a video of a OP12 submerged I think for over 30min and no issue whatsoever.
How did the screen hold up? Any visible micro scratches?
as long as you're using a screen protector (it comes with one) you should be fine

What would you recommend ?
If you need better extra zoom and 200MP high res main camera, customizable OS, Galaxy AI then go with Samsung. For better battery, portrait camera, smooth performance go with OnePlus

Don't buy s23u . I sold my s23u and got this and i am so much happy about the decision. camera is not as good as s23u but everything else feels premium and battery life is best that I've seen in any of the phones i used ..

I love my OnePlus 12 and much prefer than cameras and in particular the color science on here over my old S23 Ultra. Couldn't stand the over saturated look on Samsung cameras and had to switch

@@nandhuvardhan3296 To be honest, I think I prefer One UI over oxygen OS overall. I think both are pretty close in reliability though I think One UI gets updates more often... It depends on what you want to use in each OS. For instance, I miss the function to crop and pin specific text from One UI and miss the pen from S23U. However, I prefer the easy swipe up to turn window into a pop up window + 3 finger swipe to screenshot is way better than palm swipe (which i use often). Opening recent tasks is also much easier on OP12 IMO, you don't have do swipe up as high which feels more natural. It also depends on other feautres such as the fast charging (which i love on OP12). As for camera quality, it really depends on what you need from the camera. For me, I prefer the much more natural rendition color science and less sharpening from OP12 compared to Samsung's over saturated and over sharpened look. To be honest, I think you should take MKBHD's camera blind test to see which phone camera you prefer most. I got 2 pixels and 1 OnePlus for my top 3 cameras (as those OnePlus and Pixel have more similar photos).

I was also confused between iqoo 12 and oneplus 12, but one thing helped me made my decision, resale value of oneplus is far higher than iqoo. You will get good price even if you plan to sell it after 4 or 5 years
There's no confusion between one plus 12 and iqoo 12. Iqoo 12 is best in its price range under 55k and one plus is best in its price range 65k. If you can spend 65k one plus is the king. If your budget is under 55k iqoo12 takes it everything. Both phones are beasts but one plus 12 software and cameras are far more superior than iqoo12. But when it comes to gaming performance iqoo12 takes the crown no doubt. One plus had some throttling while gaming although it also good for gaming but iqoo12 wins in gaming
I've had mine since launch. The battery life is amazing. No phone charges faster. It's been an excellent phone and it was a pretty big upgrade of over the OnePlus 10 pro in my opinion.

I have oneplus12, and 100watt charger. But why when charging it takes so long. Not 30 minutes like the others
Check battery settings
Turn on smart rapid charging. That should make a difference, but the phone will slightly warm up.
Maybe it is only 100W when Display or Phone is Off.
IP 65 means it is good against Dust and Sand and against Water, you should not put it under Water but u can easy clean it in your sink.
Come to oneplus 12 this year, after last time on 2016 i used oneplus one

I love the curved display I've had my OnePlus now for a few months and I love it
I would pick up this phone, but that design is ugly to me. Loving the S24 ultra but always love seeing manufacturers doing amazing work. I just returned to android from ios after 10 years and really enjoying it.
I wanted to get the OnePlus 12, but it had the curve screen, so I didn't end up getting it. I had a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 with its curve display, it cracked from the side, and they told me they didn't fix my phone due to it being a curved display. At least the places I went to get it repaired. From there, I never got a phone with a curve display.

I sent mine back for a refund, the clock on the lock screen and the notification shade is unusable because oneplus made a stupid decision to make the hour digits deep red when they are '1'. Everyone is complaining about it, I went though the OnePlus support channels and this was the reply I received:
`I would like to kindly inform you that the red number 1 is a tribute to our brand, it's part of OnePlus logo. It always been red for number one in OnePlus clocks. Therefore, you can rest assured the clock is not broken. This is a default feature and it cannot be changed.`
My current phone is a OnePlus 3T, and it does not have an unreadable red clock.
Why no-one mentions this in reviews is beyond me as being able to quickly tell the time is basic functionality. Community posted workarounds do not work. I'm not rooting my phone and breaking my banking apps and google pay to try and fix it myself.
Imma trade in my Pixel 7 Pro...That Oneplus 12 512gb is worthy!!

Those issues mostly appeared on 8/9 series and some of 10 series. So basically they are 2 years old generation device. Any way OnePlus has already issued lifetime free warranty for green line issues

I got the global rom 1tb version online for £530 on Chinese website in June 2024, and it's great!

Imagine OnePlus 12 having flat display. The sales would have shot rocket high. Every single reviewer, consumer complaints one thing about this phone is its curved mf display. OnePlus should listen to the voices of people and take corrective actions otherwise Onplus is just another IQOO, Tecno, Poco amongst the crowd.

Loved my time with the 1+12 but some major tradeoffs for me.
The DAC isn't even close to what you get on the s24 ultra , battery life hasn't been as impressive as most say, and the scrolling in TH-cam shorts, instagram shorts and Tiktok seem laggy when scrolling to next video.
But if you don't care about those things it's an amazing phone and otherwise on par with the s24 ultra.

I was using s23 ultra before OnePlus 12... the difference is night and day ...
OnePlus 12 is far far way better than s23 ultra....
I never used S24 ultra... but everyone's saying it's the same as S23 ultra was....so...
btw... Who cares about DAC... all of us are using Bluetooth headphones... earplugs.... so...
