Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. fighting game series is rather different from your typical fighting game. Instead of wearing your opponent's health down to 0, you must knock him or her out of the battlefield. Damage counts upwards, with knockback from attacks that hit you becoming more severe as your damage increases. Fighting controls are also simplified, making it very easy for even your non-gaming friends to pick up and play.
Super Smash Bros. Melee offers fighters from the wealth of Nintendo characters like Mario, Bowser, different Pokémon, Link, and Kirby. They can either fight through the single-player modes like Classic, Adventure, and Event Mode, or they battle it out against other characters in a four-player frenzy.
Additional characters and stages are unlocked as hidden objectives are met, and coins rewarded for playing in all modes can be spent on a capsule toy machine. The toys in the machine represent games from Nintendo's entire video game history, and each can be viewed in 3D with a brief description.
Here, we see the authors complete the "Target Test" mode of the game (more commonly referred to as "Break the Targets"). This run starts with all characters unlocked in order to play each unique level, and by using RNG manipulation, completes all levels with an in game time of 2:39.97.

The characters being named after the TASers is a very nice touch. Cool to see who worked on which level.

It's actually to trigger a glitch that changes how stage hazards affect you.

I messes with your temporary invincibility for some reason, allowing you to get hit multiple times by a bumper at once, launching you faster.

My guess here whould be in the Moment he is Failing the Game with Pichu in Adventure Mode he glitches/explots the Game to get invulnerable against Eviroment Damage. If you look closely when he playes with Luigi he is clealy inside the Spinners. Also he is changing his Name in a Specific way wich is a way to place parts of the Memory in a way of need. And also select the Characters in a specific way ( but this chould be for entertainment). I´ll check if i find whats happen there ;)

I scrolled through a few comments and didn't find much to satiate my curiosity, so... what happened with the Pichu Adventure segment?
Found an explanation from djwang88:
Being damaged by hazards (flippers, burners, goombas) grants invincibility in 1P modes, and the invincibility glitch allows you to bypass the invincibility so you can get multiple damage boosts. Since the hazard invincibility gets turned off for matches, you can get it to turn off when you enter the Yoshi fight in the first level of Adventure Mode. When you lose the game, the flag never turns back on and you can play Break the Targets while bypassing the hazard invincibility.
(I think it makes the flippers kick you around faster instead of basically stunning you every time you touch one)

Pichu setup some kinda of stage hazard invincibility glitch for the other characters. Pichu did play break the targets later in the video.
