4:30 I remember doing this exact skip as a kid and being so proud of myself. Still have all the saved replays of my daredevil stunts on my memory card.
@Nbrother1234 The James Webb Space Telescope has mirrors that span several meters, and will allow scientists to see stars from millions of light years away. Despite this, I guarantee that it won't be able to find anybody who asked.
7:57 seeing this level beaten so easily is so cathartic considering its the hardest stage in the remaster collection to avoid the bananas in in that rotten banana mode
Could someone help me find the music used here. Im finding it hard to match it to the GC OST with similar names. Maybe becuz the tracks are being beaten at godlike TAS speed lol.
I love SMB TAS videos so much. They're just obscene with the skips and tricks.
I also like super Mario bros. TASes
@@johnelway76 um smb stands for super MONKEY bros idiot
@@chrispysaid um smb stands for super monkey BALL
@@chrispysaid Chill, he was joking
@@chrispysaid it’s a joke
Any bonus level: Exists
Aiai: I have decided that I want to Die.
Ai A'ight, I'mma head out 🐵💀
This soundtrack is nuts! Instantly makes me think of Sonic DX’s soundtrack and Nights! Absolutely love it
The SMB series always did have the best speed runs.
Plus SMB2 was the only game I know that made music and stages about a washing machine so lit.
I didn’t super Mario bros 2 but I did like super Mario bros 2 JPN
oh cool another rpg maker user
@@MakenaForest Yeah, been using RPG maker MV for a while now.
@Nu Kumtrakool where’s 8-4?
I've never said "what the fuck" more while watching a speedrun before.
13:22 What an amazing stage to end with. The gamecube system.
4:30 I remember doing this exact skip as a kid and being so proud of myself. Still have all the saved replays of my daredevil stunts on my memory card.
if only more games allowed for replays at the time, wouldve been so neat to go back and see yourself from 20 years ago playing games
Prove it.

Finally, a new SMB2 TAS!!!
Not new, just a reupload in 4k60fps
@@ezgames6925 published in 2014
These types of TASes will never get old to me.
... Well this TAS is 7 years old, but you know what I mean
That monkey is gonna need some serious physical rehabilitation after what he's been through.
Oh god it’s beautiful to finally see this in 60fps
1 988 300 pts
Imagine someone who doesn’t know what a tas is watching this video and being like “wtf how”
I've always wondered if anyone's ever done a TAS that doesn't use the shortcuts. Think it'd be neat to see all the levels that usually get skipped
You mean the ones without the goals that skip stages right? I'm sure someone has made an all stage TAS I've seen regular runs of them on SMB1 before
I'd love to see a TAS all bananas run but only if there were shenanigans and it wasn't just like a normal playthrough
Omg that Gamecube stage was epic!
I remember watching the original ones so much. This exact video though is what got me into these games.
Loved watching this. So interesting
As a Monkey ball fan, I am very thankful for this video.
10:50 That's right, we're gonna cheat 💿
You know it's gonna be good when the first level makes you physically pog
😮
Speaking about of the return of super Monkey Ball
Great video
That poor monkey. His bones are liquid now.
You're REALLY good at this, and the soundtrack is epic. Thanks for the upload =)
Oh, they didn't make the soundtrack, that was Sega
This is also a TAS, which means it's played by a machine. The inputs are programmed by human(s), usually a team.
This was one of my favorite games growing up. Watching this also reminded me how great the soundtrack is.
Imagine doing this to a game's campaign...
...and THEN unlocking the "party mode"
I failed to notice tas for maybe 20 levels. I was really impressed.
2:16 🤣🤣🤣🤣, Awesome TAS!!
That’s actually the normal method for Brandished too lmao
Whaaat?? I thought I would never get to see a new one of these. Awesome!
Edit: Oh it's not new :/
I just wish it was this easy to finish the game…
Stage 39, you missed the gate??? @6:30
The sheer insane talent to pull these off
2:16 YEET
It may sound really ambitious, but I would love to see a TAS of SMBDX in SMB2 Ultimate Mode.
Watching this as I wait for the remake to come out
Could someone help me find the music used here.
Im finding it hard to match it to the GC OST with similar names. Maybe becuz the tracks are being beaten at godlike TAS speed lol.
There's a video titled FULL Super Monkey Ball 2 OST which should have every song in this video, but I don't know the individual names
One of my all-time favorite TASes ever, and that list includes SMB2: Six Golden Coins and Yoshi's Island 100%.
Amazing...
that's crazy I never knew a gamecube stage was the final level of levels how awesome
I hope the dev's of this game are watching.
2:17 monke obliterated
YEET
I still feel more threatened of the volcano in this versus in Banana Mania.
When he says “let’s go” it sounds like Billy Hatcher
It is very similar to an old PC game that used to play except it was a penguin and it was called 3D snowball run or something
2:15 GOAL!!
The game: get out!!
9:31 swish
Algorithm coming in clutch
Aiai was tripping on something with that last level...
Do a TAS of Puyo Puyo Tsu pls.
How do you skip through lots of levels?
Bonus Stage: exists
TAS: nah.
2:04 didn’t go in the goal?
It's faster to go in the latter goal since you can level skip 🎊🎊

I do struggle to unlock all party games. Clearly this is the Fastest Way with all those Party Points. Brb...
How’s no one talking about the soundtrack. 😌
The soundtrack is one of the best I've heard for sure.
This is insane...
I'm debating whether or not to edit my "Super Monkey Ball TAS" playlist to replace byrz's 7 year old video with this one. Thoughts?
It's 60fps!
You wanna talk about some dedication?
AAAHHH!
Diddeh was part of making a TAS? Damn
3:05 HOW

Its an imperfect run, time can be saved in several spots.
