My opinion is I think Miss Grimshaw is loyal because of what she did to the gang.if she wasn’t killed by Micah, She would have stand up for Arthur and John and also probally would have shot Micah instead 🧐
When Micah killed Susan, that should've been the absolute message to Dutch, that Micah is not to be trusted. Dutch had more history with her & Arthur, but Dutch loves money, more than the ones who showed true loyalty.

He basically just staggered into camp like a drunkard, yelled at everyone, accused one of their few remaining gunslingers of being the rat and started pointing his gun at him. Then John came back screaming that Dutch backstabbed him and clearly not in a mood to forgive. When Micah shot Grimshaw, Dutch just saw it and him panicking at being threatened and making a mistake in the heat of the moment. So his surrogate son has apparently gone mad and is threatening the rest of the gang, his other surrogate son who he betrayed is coming back to bite him in the ass and the bullets are already starting to fly. There's only one solution: demand faith and loyalty and put an end to any doubters and traitors.
Old comment but when Javier interrupted to tell everyone the Pinkertons were coming everyone looked over at him, Micah was the only one to look back and shoot her. So it’s possible Dutch just didn’t see it. I don’t even think he was paying much attention to it.
I don't like how Grimshaw treats the other girls, but she is a valuable member of the gang. Without here everyone would live like pigs lol. Also, I never realized she mixes health cures for the gang. That's actually super cool and makes me like her even more. She really is the mother of the group.
You gotta remember Ms Grimshaw comes from a different time, It's like a full grown deer teaching it's young buck,but back in those days women where looked down on, but not Susan❤️
Like most members she needed a place to belong and feel appreciated. She displayed a tough no nonsense exterior but deep inside she only wanted the best for Dutch and the gang. Grimshaw knew in heart of hearts that lifestyle couldn’t last but took pride in the part she could play and what she could offer no matter how subtle. A strong and complex character who was willing to kill for her gang and her heart. RIP Grimshaw.
I didn't really know if I liked Ms. Grimshaw that much through the story, but at the last mission in chapter 6, when she takes Arthur's side, she was amazing, and I loved her. Amazing video!!

Oh ms grimeshaw , what a lovely character very unique aswell . she was like a mother to most of the gang . Sad that she didn’t leave with the rest when the gang broke apart her death although quick and unexpected, it made me sad . On my first play through I thought she was annoying and bossy before I started learning everyone’s role in the camp but through out my 4 play throughs she just grew in me . Great vid hope to Kieran and little jack next and more 🤠

Honestly, this game hit a bizarre note for me. As someone who isn't exactly a 'family first' kind of guy, I found myself dropping everything the moment she showed up asking me to help her save Tilly. I didn't need the explanation of the 'Rough exterior, good heart' I already knew exactly who she was.
Same here, and if you go on for too long without donating, people start to get sickly (Jack is too hungry to read so Abigail let’s him go, Abigail can be seen throwing up and more (from what I have heard, never gotten that far). After that, I have to bring something back to camp, no matter what it is or how long I have been out (risking being sent out for and losing honour) or I will just feel guilty First time I got that, I spent so many in game days just out hunting in the Heartlands, bringing it back to camp and then riding out again, rinse and repeat, to make up for it. Never have had that feeling of responsibility in a game before

I feel like Miss Grimshaw did not deserve the ending she got. I mean getting shot after you helped make the camp run for a long time? That’s unfair and she deserved a better ending.
Miss. Grimshaw was one of the most important and valuable members of the gang, she really cared for everyone in the camp, the fact she made health tonics is incredible, and she cared about everyone's health and hygiene in the gang, like for example when Arthur enters camp while his clothes are full of mud, Miss. Grimshaw will force him to wash himself.
I like Susan, she's pretty much The Glue. Without her they'd be living in squalor. I'd never seen the speech scene before, nor Micah clowning her. These videos are amazing, they absolutely humanize the characters in a way that simple gameplay can't.

I never used to like her but recently come to appreciate her more. She has a maternal instinct for some in camp, especially Arthur. She sees him as a son.
I have seen the everyone needs to work speech. The speech happens when the camp is low on food. In story mode just as the opening cut scene ends and you can really explore the map, you hear Abigail yelling for Jack and him responding. At the same moment you can hear Grimshaw yelling at Tilly. “Miss Jackson I have seen work harder than you”. Grimshaw says and yells something at her. I can not remember the exactly line. I have also seen the scene when Grimshaw tells Arthur she knows who has been shooting everyone. Well yes Arthur was doing that.

Another fantastic video. What I've noticed is that none of these videos feature Arthur doing something or the other in the background. Hopefully in the next videos, we get a nice little cameo. We always see the camp and its people from Arthur's perspective- it'll be a nice change to witness what Arthur does from a camp member's perspective 🙂👍🏼

Me too. I think it would have been cool with an entire streak of missions dedicated to explore her character. The only glimpse you really get of her background is through the camp interactions.

The way she cared for Arthur stood out. Making sure he got a room at Colter and his bed was set up before Dutch at Horseshoe Overlook.
If Dutch was Arthurs father Susan was his mother, and that was likely a far more familial bond with her than dutch was ever capable of.

I've had mixed feelings about her but the mission where Tilly is kidnapped sorta solidified my trust in her. Yeah she can be mean but she'd shockingly be one of the first to run down your attackers, she cares a lot about the gang but just doesn't let herself show it because she feels she needs to be a manager, to keep the camp running and in all fairness yeah, she kinda does have to

Another fantastic video. What I've noticed is that none of these videos feature Arthur doing something or the other in the background. Hopefully in the next videos, we get a nice little cameo. We always see the camp and its people from Arthur's perspective- it'll be a nice change to witness what Arthur does from a camp member's perspective 🙂👍🏼

@@romella_karmey Really ? I didn't mean it in the sense that you get to see from the camp member's perspective as a playable character like Arthur.
What I meant was that you'll see him in the background almost unnoticeable like for instance sitting near the fire whilst everyone else just carries on.

@@Barry_disgruntled Not sure but I get the impression what your asking for is kinda redundant.I like these videos cause it gives the other gang members and especially those that are not featured enough in the game a time to shine and give the whole picture to the gang and the game itself. If Arthur is heard or seen on the background like in this video you kinda get what your asking for. Also your are experiencing what happens cause you see it with/ or as Arthur. Again this is based on what you have put in the comments so I could be wrong.

I would have liked to see Ms Grimshaw to be more present in the story; ideally replacing Sadie Adler who became a major annoyance towards the end
Me too. I think it would have been cool with an entire streak of missions dedicated to explore her character. The only glimpse you really get of her background is through the camp interactions.
We can appreciate her more now
Its weird most camp npcs go practically the entire day without talking and only say a couple lines to each other.
