Yeah I got a old fob not the key but I’d like to know if I can reprogram my old fob from the 07 impala to my new impala 2012 just a key fob not the actual key just the fob? Possible? I know the fob from the 2007 Impala worked before the car was stolen. Can I reprogram it the same as a new key fob?

vb7200 so I'm actually having his problem. when I hit the check mark it beeps and switches to remote key learning active. but when I hold down both. uttons nothing happens. I'm holding them down for atleast 15 seconds. I have changed batteries and these worked before for a different Gmail car. don't know if you can use them agian once learned or what... have you heard of this problem at all? thanks!!!
You should be able to. What car was it from? I know some cars have the remote start feature (the circle looking thing at the top of the remote) and they could be using a different frequency, so some cars my not recognize it. Other issues could be the generation of the two vehicles are different, again leading to an issue of frequencies and such. Or the board itself could have went bad over the years.
i just got my red 2006 chevrolet tlzimpala 22, days a go for $3800 do the sunroof open up>??? the car is vary small its not for any 1 big hard to move the legs
Im having a problem. I needed to change the battery but before I changed the battery everything worked just fine. After I changed the battery my remote stop working. I go to the dash setting and click relearn key but it flashes on and off. I can never get it to say key learning active. What do I do?
Your vehicle is or was in VALET mode. It's normal. You must turn VALET mode off before remote start will function. Mien did this too at the end of it's life. I think it's just the module going bad, or possibly the connection from the module to the starter. The lights on mine would flash like it's going to start, I'd hear a click and then nothing. I could only guess why it does this.
and looks like your touching the third button from the top and saying the second button from the top while your saying its the button with the car and the i beside the car....maybe you need to relearn what your doing

I can only get one remote to program. When I program the other one, this one stops and vice versa

Dont do the check mark, just once you get to the relearn screen, press and hold lock and unlock button for like 5 seconds, maybe
hat if my unlock botton and rear view buttons don’t but every thing else do will that effect me from programming a key fob ?
If the unlock button on the fob doesn't work, then yes it will not let you program it.

It might not be that the car "forgot" the key, it sounds like your battery is either in wrong or still dead. Make sure you check that first.

Sometimes the hood latch sensor for remote start is broke. I ran a wire bypassing hood latch boom remote start started working
