Bravo for making this video! The clear instructions, pointer icons, and diagrams are seriously a blessing. Thank you for your contribution to the community and for keeping the spirit alive.
Amazing video. I would have been lost without it. It took me around 8 hours and was able to do it without a helper - it just takes patience. It turned out great with all of your tips. Thanks!!!
@@carismasociety Cheers. Is it too complicated to unplug and plug the demister? Or is it a simple test before removing the old soft top? Thank you once again!
hey man just a heads up , the bar closest to the rear window should be exposed not hidden by the flap and should rivet the rain rail to the top instead of just putting it through the studs
Thank you for the feedback! Per the Robins' top instructions, it states to rivet to the 2nd and 3rd bar and to mount to the stud by the rain guard. You're right about the exposed 3rd bar! I'll add corrections in the description when i get a chance. Thank you once again!!
Thank for the video... Man took me 3 days and 2 days in the sun to fully close the soft top... The most difficult for me was lining up the metal retainer with the rain rails
I was able to do it in 8 hours, including a little time to clean all of the panels and carpet while out. A cordless drill with proper bits and sockets helped a lot, along with a trim removal tool, sort of like a 2 pronged fork. eBay $370 top.
@@tschuette1442 good to know. Using a tutorial like this makes me think it might go a little faster thanks to the OP. How do you like your new top? $370 sounds much better than $1000 like I have been seeing, but if it takes 8 hours I'm not sure I want to do it twice if the top doesn't fit as well.
@@carismasocietyit took me 8 hours total with breaks. The only thing I want to mention is when I got done the top didn’t close all the way it was about two inches from closing. I read on a forum to force it close by hand because the new top needs about a week to stretch. It’s been a week and my top is working like OEM! Thanks man I really appreciate the video saved me 1200$
@@carismasociety its also how you turned it on and off during voiceovers. Plus that music belongs in dental offices not a video on honda s2000 soft tops 😂

That's awesome! Glad the video was helpful.
Hi mate! Do you happen to know if this soft top comes with a rear windscreen demister? Thank you!
@alexisnaranjo7979 Mind did not, but because that was the option I chose. They have one with it!
@@carismasociety Cheers. Is it too complicated to unplug and plug the demister? Or is it a simple test before removing the old soft top? Thank you once again!
@@alexisnaranjo7979 it appears pretty simple, just an extra step of unplugging it from the glass and routing it through a small portion of the top
Amazing video. I would have been lost without it. Got it done solo in 1 hour, turned out great with all of your tips!!! Thanks!!!
Glad I could help!
It only took you an hour? What in the world 😂😂
No way you did this in an hour dude hahaha
Thanks making this video.. That will be my winter project.
Great video, very thorough!
Great video. I'm not built for this. I'm a take it to a shop. Thanks for showing me how difficult this can be. It got dark on you bro 😅.
I took way too many breaks, haha
This looks intimidating ngl 😂😂 but I’m going to try it. I guess the key is to stay organized
VERY WELL DONE.
Thank you!
Nice work!
Nice Job!

Mate, absolutely brilliant video. But I wonder, is the new top equipped with demister for the rear windscreen? Thank you!
I thought I answered! They sell them with it but I chose mine without it because I have a 2001
What is the install time (roughly?)
Nevermind, you answered in the video. Thanks for that. Great video.

Love my eBay $370 top. Made in USA, all holes fit perfect, way better than expected and has a glass window. 10/10.
Great video 👌🏾 looks like a pain to doo
It was!
Was hoping this video was going to make the task somehow look less miserable but nope, still looks like a complete PITA.
It was a nightmare the first day!
15 hours? lol dang I’m going to need to grab a rental car so I can go to work while working on this
Haha, I think you'll finish sooner! It only took me so long because I was recording and did extra things

2 cool
The music gotta go but thx for the tutorial
There's always a complaint about music because everyone has a different taste. It's impossible to avoid, but you're welcome🙏🏼

I thought I'd try something different this time 🤣 still figuring out what works best!
