You look so beautiful in all your uniforms I just flew in Lufthansa last week from Frankfurt to Chicago and I’m always impressed by how the cabin crew of this airline look they always look so polished 👩✈️🧑🏼✈️
Thank you! Oh did you? I'm so glad to hear that. I worked the Chicago flight from Munich a few months ago. And I was in Frankfurt for a training day last week.
Thank you so much Michelle! I'm so glad to hear that you enjoyed my content. Wait, Canadian airlines doesn't have hats? I didn't know that (but then again, I don't really wear mine a lot). Stay safe and take care!
A great video. I was flying with LH yesterday. I was wondering the hat you have can you choose to use it or not? Can you have it on during boarding? Does the ground staff got the complete same uniform as cabin crew? Is it just the wing that shows you are cabin crew? Cause in KLM ground staff got a different color on stripe the jacket. Like yellow.
Thank you! I hope you had a good flight with LH! Yes the hat is optional. We can wear it outside of the plane and during boarding, but not during the flight itself (e.g. during service). The ground staff uniform is a little different from the cabin crew uniform. They don‘t have any stripes on their jackets and I‘m pretty sure that they have different shoe policies too (at least from what I have seen at the airport as I am not familiar with their uniform regulations).
Hi Verena, I think all of your uniform combinations are so classy and professional looking. I really like your uniform shirt, but my favorite is always your dress. Love your pillbox hat, too! Thanks for showing them to us!!
Thank you! I agree, I feel like my airline's uniform does look very classy and professional. You know that the dress is my favorite too. It's just so comfortable to wear and it doesn't get many wrinkles so I don't have to iron it that often (I'm lazy, I know).
Love the uniform, i love the skirt and blouse, and dress, im a crossdresser and like to dress as cabin crew when i can, always with tan glossy tights, but i get what your saying about stains x
Thank you! Someone mentioned on one of my other videos that they'd like to see what different uniform combinations are possible and I couldn't really find any similar videos online so I decided to go ahead and film it.
Hi!!! I just found your channel, loved this video!!! I’ve watched lots of flight attendant vlogs and I’ve never seen a uniform video so I loved it!!! Definitely liked the dress most, liked the shirt over the blouse and everything put together with the cute hat is awesome!!! Thanks for a great video 😊 Edit; oh the pants look great on you too!!! They would look terrible on me lol I hate pants, but you looked great in them especially with the shirt! 👌
Aww thank you so much Symmone! Someone had commented on one of my videos that they'd like to see the different uniforms that we can wear and I did some research and couldn't find a similar video, so I went ahead and filmed it. I like the dress most too, it's just so comfortable and doesn't get wrinkles easily, so I can get away with not ironing it (I'm lazy haha). I honestly don't wear the pants that often because I feel like the dress looks prettier. However, when it's really cold in winter I usually wear the pants because I don't want to be freezing in a dress and tights. My airline recently came out with a newer version of the pants (they have a tighter fit), but I haven't ordered them yet. Thank you! :)
I like the dress best too because it is very comfortable to wear and it doesn't get many wrinkles so I don't have to iron it very often. But the pants are more practical in winter when it's really cold outside and we need to stand at the doors for boarding.
That is so professional, love all the ways you style. The best of the best, have you ever tucked in the end of the scarfs into the top coat or vest, they will look like a double croissant's, half moon elegance. I just kissed my fingers and pushed that to you. Perfection
Beautiful, Verena... how wonderful!! If your airline was smart, they would have you Model their uniforms in catalogs and such. Just my opinion... You look marvelous! :)
Thank you! I just saw on another flight attendant's video that some airlines actually have catalogs where they show all of the uniform parts. As far as I know my airline doesn't have any catalogs, but we can see all of the uniform parts and styles in our online shop. Thank you! Honestly, it wasn't really my intention to model the uniform parts, but someone had commented on one of my other videos that they'd like to see the different uniform styles and how different uniform parts can be combined and I couldn't find a video on that so I decided to film it.
@@Austrianontravels: My honest feeling, Verena - you really make those uniforms look so amazing! And I was being truthful when I say you could model for a catalog (if your airline had one). Perhaps you might suggest, and use your vlog as a reference point...? Just a thought... :)
Thank you for the video. Do you wear gloves during your flight journey or required to wear them at certain points? Are there specific gloves you have to wear? I imagine the PanAm days of wearing white gloves are long gone LOL.
You are very welcome! We can wear winter gloves together with the winter coat, but only outside of the plane, we are not allowed to wear them during the flight. I thought about PanAm too when you mentioned the gloves (did you watch the TV series? Sooo good!). But other than winter gloves I don't think any airlines have in-flight gloves anymore these days.
@@Austrianontravels We actually have white gloves at my airline, for when we have the royal family on board. So I have white gloves for my uniform, but I haven’t had a chance of using them yet 😃
That last combo is what I prefer to wear for work. We have a work shirt but I hate the fabric so I rarely wear it. I live in cardigans in summer though, they are super easy to take care of. Why can’t you wear the cardigan during service? It looks fine.
When I'm not working I live in cardigans too, they are super practical and so comfy. It's just what our dress code is like (like in some other industries, airlines have specific dress codes). I would guess that it has to do with the blouse or the dress looking way more polished than the cardigan and also with the fact that the cardigan covers up our name tag, so passengers wouldn't be able to see it.
For my airline one stripe means flight attendant and two stripes means purser, the purser is also part of the cabin crew. However, this is different for some airlines.
I honestly didn't. I only bought some spices because I have been to India a few years ago (it was one of my first flights) and I already bought fridge magnets and stuff for everyone back then.
It's basically the exact same uniform, the purser uniform just has one more stripe on the sleeves (two stripes instead of one for flight attendants) and the name tag says purser, those are pretty much the differences.
@@manshi2561 Sorry, but for legal reasons that's obviously not possible. They sell "costume" uniforms at some stores for halloween etc., but you won't be able to legally buy a real flight attendant uniform without being a flight attendant. However, I agree, it is an awesome uniform!

Compression black opaque tights?? Does injustice to shapely legs, at least barely black or nude European sheer hosiery. Cheap tights just throws off the whole look!
Honestly, what's important as a flight attendant is that we protect ourselves from suffering from thrombosis, so I would never wear any tights that aren't compression. Also, we don't wear opaque tights, 40 denier tights are still see-through to some degree. Also, I don't wear black tights, mine are blue. Additionally, compression tights actually shape the legs. I think you are definitely not a flight attendant and don't know the first thing about flying, working in aviation and women's clothes.
I don't think that you paid attention to what I said in the video.
