Just got this card yesterday. It's not easy to get one of these here at the moment in Norway. The store price is 890 dollars, and it's not even in stock. Got mine for 950 dollars. Aside from the price, I'm very happy with the card. Looks amazing in my phanteks p600, runs quietly and has great performance.
I am from Turkey. The 3070 lineup ranges from 1000 usd to 1350 usd at places that you can buy them. So basicly it is double the msrp for reference card models of the AIB's and a whole lot more than double for the "mid-range" stuff. The top of the line didn't much make it here outside the 3090 range and they stuck around in stock since they are priced around 3000 usd.
I bought my 3070 Suprim non X for 730€, what's around USD 800. Tough I have to say that the conversion in MSRP is always 1:1, no matter the kind of hardware. Seems even the Suprim X is always running at 100% power. I undervolted mine to reduce power consumption and fan noise.

Hey Nick. I am here in NYC New York City. I got The MSI RTX 3080 SUPRIM X just before Christmas. She looks nice. And I haven't seen many, if at all any reviews on it. I don't hear much about it here at all. They say it's right there with the Strix Card. I Passed up the RTX 3090 SUPRIM X. Here in NYC at Micro Center The 3080 SUPRIM X was $899.99.

I'm quite fortunate to own both a 3080 Suprim X and a 5800x AMD CPU (would have went for the 5900x but no stock anywhere and i didn't see much of a difference. Bought the 3080 Suprim X for £820 here in England :)
Through a Christmas miracle I got this card in December. UK price was £680. Most expensive 3070 I've seen, but one of the few I've seen on sale. Founders card is £470.

Picked this up a few days ago from Micro Center. Upgrade from the 2080FE I was running. So basically I paid $180 (minus sold price of 2080FE) for an 18-21% performance increase. I would've waited for any 3080 if I wasn't selling a card to offset cost. Cost after tariffs was $819 + tax USD retail.

in other shops, it would be 1300 usd. In the first shop, I didn't had any chance to get a 3060ti since christmas, and I'm very pissed off for it.
Great video Nick! I got one of these brand new (First ever brand new GPU woot!) here in the UK for £520 from a place called CConline. Its been absolutely amazing so far and zero complaints. Upgraded finally from my ROG Strix 1070 TI, so love the aesthetic :)

@@turgut1071 I'm looking at those right now vs some TUF on Scan and Box (saw some bad reviews on ebuyer service etc). FPS is negligable but the TUFs will run less wattage on average.

Regarding the price: MSI currently lists this same card on their website at $799.95. They had them in stock at my local Microcenter store this morning for $824.95. That's a far cry from the original MSRP of $629.95.
@Berg Coin I couldn't do it. $825 puts you in 3080 or 6800 territory. Last week they had some EVGA 3070 FTW3 Ultras for $680. Much better deal
I've got the TI version of this card, my PSU is a Corsair RM850X. The PCIE power leads have a splitter/double end. So should I just have one lead from the PSU and plug both ends into the GPU, or should I have two leads from the PSU?
It cost $1100 CAD after tax, here in Toronto it may vary from province to province.
what psu u used for your tests? also any idea if the card has any power spikes during heavy load?
I have a MSI RTX 3070 SUPRIM arriving tomorrow! I live in the UK and i managed to get this for £550 , The following day the same retalier upped the price to £650. Lucky me!
the MSI gaming x trio 3070 costs around 780 USD in Japan and the Suprim costs 880 USD...
I just ordered one today. Danish prices are generally higher than pretty much anywhere else. But I found a reasonably cheap store and the premium for this over a two dam ventus version was only around 300 dkk. Its around 50$ but as the 25% cosh sales tax inflates the price quite a bit I'd say that it's very fair. For comparison it was 200 dkk (around 15$) cheaper cm the asus TUF non oc version. And I think that is somewhat of as this is MSI's to of the line card and the TUF is sort of the middle one for Asus I think I got a good deal.
Availability is here in India aswell, but the 3070 ti (zotac amp) is going for 1602$

Living in Germany I bought this card for 799€ (~969 USD). Most RTX 3070 cards cost about 729-799€. Not thinking about the price I am very happy with the card so far. :)

Bought mine for $1029 AUD in stock (w/shipping) had it since mid jan the card now goes for 1300-1899 this pricing hike is insane these days..

I own a Suprim X, but 3080, not 3070. It's gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous and stunning graphics card.
In the UK the graphics card I want, the Asus Tuf 3070 OC, is £699 or €770
I scored a 3070 suprim x for 999 in aus which was a nice deal went out of stock in 3 hours tho haha
When I bought my 3070 Suprim X, the price difference with "low-end" 3080 is like around $300
The difference with Asus 3070 Tuf, is Suprim X is lower by atleast $80
Asus ROG Strix 3070 is higher by $100
The other GPU have low VRM especially Ventus and X trio
My country (Indonesia) have insane tax rate for these stuff, so It's normal I bought it for $791 (After tax price)
Even here in Saudi Arabia, I bought it for 771 Dollars, 15% VAT included.

Just got a 3070 suprim x today, I kissed it and it looks so amazing
After really wanting to get either a 3070 or 3080 since launch I finally had to settle for this at a rather annoying mocked up price even at a legit retailer right now. 3080 stock was just non-existent these were still selling out fast even at the extreme price so I had to make the decision and went for it. Not the wisest decision I've ever made but I'm at least please with the card, bit of a squeeze in my case with my sata ports being directly below the card and having to remove one of my intake fans temporarily to fit it.
I'm hoping that I can atleast get a decent price for my GTX 1080 FE, which i'm looking at some places buying for around £315/$447 USD with potentially more on ebay and the likes which should help claw back some of the excess ive paid for this card. At the end of the day though, I spend close to or equal amounts on a smartphone every couple of years as I did on this GPU which I use near equal amounts so to me it wasn't the WORST purchase ever, obviously would've been nicer to get closer to MSRP though.

I live in india and for the 3070 suprim x i bought, the price was $1040 whereas the 3080 suprium x would've been $1400 if i had bought it

Good review. But it would be great if we can actually talk about the components quality installed as well like the MLCC capacitors and other pcb components. Gives a more technical aspect. Anyways one of the best review mate.
Capacitors have ZERO impact on performance or quality. We debunked this with Hardware Unboxed in 2020.
I bought a 3070 Suprim non X version and paid 1027 US Dollar in the Netherlands at Megekko store! But bare in mind i just sold my older 2080ti for 850 US Dollar. Eventhough the Suprim has 3gb less vram, the card and especially the cooler and temps make truely up for it! That being said, the price is just outrageous!
They are sold out now, and they made a huge profit on this GPU at that store. But i did not have to wait, delevery was the next day. So paid 200 US dollar extra for this card. And the 2080ti i did not buy new, but used 11 moths ago for 1050 US Dollar...so overal it's not that bad for me, but it's not normal that this card is about 2 times the MSRP of the 3070 FE!

Mean while the Gigabyte Gaming OC 3060 Ti sells for the price 3070 Founders of $499.99 US. Also the EVGA FTW3 3060ti the same price after January 11th markup. There's a small gap between both GPU performance but hey it your money.

Jan 1st, 2021 Trump's 25% tariff for GPU and Motherboards took effect. So you are not seeing scalper prices, you are seeing an increase in retail prices.
