@@mahmoudhaider3424 no problems but a word of advice. Once I removed the frame limiter on all games the card performs so much better. Make sure you have really good cooling. Even with the fans on 100% and a Corsair obsidian 500D TG in the best possible case setup for airflow, with air conditioning.. card can get up to 71c for me. I’d hate to imagine running it for longer without air conditioning or a cooler environment.

sold my MSI RTX3070 Ventus 2X in mid april and just got myself this MSI RTX3090 Suprim X 2 days ago haha. What I love the most is the backplate VRAM with heatpipe, it really is needed and you can feel the heat is transferred to the end of the backplate. As someone living in the equator with hot weather, those big cooler and backplate are important lol. For those that claim other 3090 as being better, well any card you can get your hands on is good with the current constantly out of stock market lol

@@TheTechTank i don't really overclock my gpu's. the increase in performance is not that big to justify the increase in temps and noise. i like them stock :D
Since it tends to undervolt pretty decently ( mine sits at 0.875V @1830-1845mhz stable for all and any usecases) you wont even need all 3 of them ^^ In theory, you should ofc connect them on 3 seperate rails.

Yeah, definitely a decent deal my local prices converted to the USD MSI Suprime x 3080 ti price was 2602,49$ the normal price for Surprim 3090 was 3548,9$ discounted price dropped it to 3075,69$. Looking at those numbers the card loses 473$ then the price difference for 3080 TI is 473$ I would say that is a decent price/quality compared to these two cards instead that there is like 1000 difference.
I enjoy the quality of the build and backplate. Really wish they would take the 🐉 logo off. I still prefer the FE design, but I got what they had available. And the style is growing on me.
Looked for a Strix since 2 weeks, hunting each day. Then a day I backordered this was one (suprim X) as it was expected to be in stock 1 month later, thinking "if I find a strix I just cancel it" . Then the next day, at the same time, I got the chance to find an available Strix on a quick deal, and also a surprise restock filling on my backorder ! Now, I received the two cards, and I really really don't know which one to return. I love so much Asus, big fan for a long time now, but this Suprim X is attracting me a lot with this great package and accessories, hear about the cooler and quieter fans.. Each video I see is changing my mind more to keep this Suprim X and let the Strix go.. It is terrible.

That is a very nice looking card and is what MSI should have done with all their cards like the 20 series ( the whole stupid polycarbonate back plate on the Gaming X family just makes them seem like entry level cards)... I have given up on watching any videos on graphics card reviews for the most part (yeah they are all super awesome and unicorns), but happy to support you on your climb up 🤘🤘💪💪👍👍
Have to agree with you there. The Trio cards didn't hit the mark for me this generation, which is hard to say because I own one 😭 It feels like they downgraded the Trio lineup at the high end a bit this time around to leave room for the Suprim cards to dominate. No worries about skipping the GPU reviews, man, I know they're a bit much especially right now when they're almost impossible to buy anyway. I appreciate the support either way! Currently working on non GPU-related stuff that I'm hoping to get out soon!
So ive got a question, im recently bought a i5 9600k, gigabyte z390 gaming x and a noctua uhd15 s off a friend for pretty cheap, and with the current gpu market, i was thinking i should buy a sub 250 card now and upgrade later, are there any you recommend. Also are there any good cases around 50$
Getting a cheap placeholder GPU while you wait for stock on the new cards to come back is definitely the right move. Anything from a 5500 XT to the 1660 Super should be perfect for that, and should run those esports titles at 144Hz no problem. As for the case, I really like Phanteks' P300A which I reviewed a while ago. Just need to pop at least one extra fan in the front and it should be a great little budget case with massive airflow potential.
@@TheTechTank Thank you for the advice, i went with a rx 5500xt since it was the same price as the gtx 1650super. The p300A is the same price here than the p400a, so it wasn't really worth it. Instead i chose a fractal design focus g, it was only 40€ and there were no other good cases under 60
does this card beat the asus rog strix? i thought the asus rog strix was the best custom card out of all the custom cards. even though this card is the most expensive custom gpu. people on newegg says the rog strix is the best one on the market, but i want to know so i buy the best one out of the two
The Strix is great, but I'm fairly confident that the Suprim is better overall. Probably not by enough to justify the price difference, but if price isn't a concern then I'd definitely get the Suprim.
Just got the card and it’s getting to 80c pretty often. I got a new case with better airflow coming in the mail but was just wondering if you had similar temps.
80 degrees is totally fine for the 3090, they run extremely hot without any issues. During testing I saw a max of 74 degrees at stock fan speed (gaming BIOS), but that was with an open test bench so I wouldn't be surprised if it hit 80+ inside a restrictive airflow case.

I already played around with the Trio 3090, but ASUS and the other companies never sent me their 3090's to test out. But, out of all of the designs for this generation I personally love the look of this one the most.

I had gotten a backorder of a 3090 Tuf Gaming from BestBuy and the very next day someone had commented that there was a 3080 Suprim on Newegg so I decided to check it out and it was gone. But 10 minutes later I checked the 3090s and the Suprim was available. So I ran around the house like a 4 year old who just saw Santa Claus and told my wife "we have to order it now!" So we did. It arrived 3 days later. I agree that it's the best looking card so far, even moreso than the Strix which I really loved. I haven't tried it yet because I need a bigger power supply, which I'm waiting to arrive any day now.

Hey, I am about to buy this card but I worry it may be too big. Is it bigger than 2080 TI? I mean in width, not length. My 2080TI has just enough room but I need to squeeze cables T_T. I'm using Lian Li normal case.
Oof, a little too vague with the information there for me to say for sure. Which specific 2080 Ti do you have, and which specific Lian Li case? I just looked it up and here are the card's dimensions: 336 x 140 x 61 mm. If your 2080 Ti is also about 14cm wide then you should be fine.
... Saran wrap? Definitely not. It should come in an anti-static bag just like the 3090 in this video. No new card will ever arrive in saran wrap. If it does, then it's not a new card, and probably not even the card you think it is.
The Tech Tank no, what i meant was the box. Not the GPU( i am aware that the gpu is in a static plastic) like when you buy a new gpu, the box are wrap in a factory seal saran wrap. I wanted to know if this one has that, like the MSi 3080 gaming x trio.
@@IconGameplays Oh! Then no, most of the cards I've ever worked haven't come with the box wrapped in plastic. For the Suprim cards I wouldn't be surprised if they did ship with a plastic shell considering how the box opens without tabs holding it together.

Hey, no, cables like that don't come with graphics cards. Your power supply should come with the right number of cables, or if it doesn't then it's not built to handle a card like this.

The best and most powerful graphics card will be the MSI Nvidia Geforce RTX: 3090 TI - Lightning Z. Just sold a 3090 FE as it had issues with backplate and vram vrm overheating, i dropped to a MSI 2080TI Gaming x trio, ive just come across one of these for sale is there issues with vram overheating or the need to undervolt this card like the FE?
I'd have to test it myself to make sure, or watch some more reviews on it, but Zotac Makes really great cards. The Suprim X is a bit of a more premium model, but both should perform about the same for gaming, might just see some minor cooler performance differences.

My first thought was that the paper that was in the the other reviews was for reviewers. I cant imagine MSI doing that for every card. That's just unwanted costs on the consumer and manufacturer

Dude, in no world would I pay more than say 50 to $100 for one thing over another purely for aesthetic reasons. In your case I'd get the Strix without a doubt. It's only when you have basically an infinite budget where you should be spending that much more for better looks but about the same performance.
So this head line calls the card the GOAT and the video is just a unboxing with a dude thats really hyped over just the AESTHETICS. YO TECH TANK in your review video you better include the STRIX and the K|NGP|N cards because I think those two are way more worthy of the GOAT title.
I have this card. Last month, I used it for a day and it was fine and the second day I got on it, it would keep crashing and giving me boot code 97 (on an X570 UNIFY). I RMA’d it and got it back yesterday and it worked great again, but then today, it kept crashing and giving me boot code 97 again... I’m genuinely lost and I don’t know what to do. I know it’s not the motherboard because I tested it with another card. I don’t have another system to put it in. If anyone knows what I can do to fix this, please help me out. Thanks T-T

I got my suprim 3080 2 weeks ago. Lol I love my strix 3090 but suprim looks amazing sadly they need to make a 450watt bios for 3080 and a 480 for 3090

Looking at those numbers the card loses 473$ then the price difference for 3080 TI is 473$ I would say that is a decent price/quality compared to these two cards instead that there is like 1000 difference.
This to me is the true successor to the Gaming X Trio lineup.

I enjoy the quality of the build and backplate. Really wish they would take the 🐉 logo off. I still prefer the FE design, but I got what they had available. And the style is growing on me.

Looked for a Strix since 2 weeks, hunting each day. Then a day I backordered this was one (suprim X) as it was expected to be in stock 1 month later, thinking "if I find a strix I just cancel it" . Then the next day, at the same time, I got the chance to find an available Strix on a quick deal, and also a surprise restock filling on my backorder ! Now, I received the two cards, and I really really don't know which one to return. I love so much Asus, big fan for a long time now, but this Suprim X is attracting me a lot with this great package and accessories, hear about the cooler and quieter fans.. Each video I see is changing my mind more to keep this Suprim X and let the Strix go.. It is terrible.

That is a very nice looking card and is what MSI should have done with all their cards like the 20 series ( the whole stupid polycarbonate back plate on the Gaming X family just makes them seem like entry level cards)... I have given up on watching any videos on graphics card reviews for the most part (yeah they are all super awesome and unicorns), but happy to support you on your climb up 🤘🤘💪💪👍👍
Have to agree with you there. The Trio cards didn't hit the mark for me this generation, which is hard to say because I own one 😭 It feels like they downgraded the Trio lineup at the high end a bit this time around to leave room for the Suprim cards to dominate.
No worries about skipping the GPU reviews, man, I know they're a bit much especially right now when they're almost impossible to buy anyway. I appreciate the support either way! Currently working on non GPU-related stuff that I'm hoping to get out soon!

So ive got a question, im recently bought a i5 9600k, gigabyte z390 gaming x and a noctua uhd15 s off a friend for pretty cheap, and with the current gpu market, i was thinking i should buy a sub 250 card now and upgrade later, are there any you recommend. Also are there any good cases around 50$
I mainly play csgo so im just looking for a gpu that can handle it cs, Valorant, minecraft, rocket league and apex at 720p or 1080p 144fps
Getting a cheap placeholder GPU while you wait for stock on the new cards to come back is definitely the right move. Anything from a 5500 XT to the 1660 Super should be perfect for that, and should run those esports titles at 144Hz no problem. As for the case, I really like Phanteks' P300A which I reviewed a while ago. Just need to pop at least one extra fan in the front and it should be a great little budget case with massive airflow potential.
@@TheTechTank Thank you for the advice, i went with a rx 5500xt since it was the same price as the gtx 1650super. The p300A is the same price here than the p400a, so it wasn't really worth it. Instead i chose a fractal design focus g, it was only 40€ and there were no other good cases under 60

does this card beat the asus rog strix? i thought the asus rog strix was the best custom card out of all the custom cards. even though this card is the most expensive custom gpu. people on newegg says the rog strix is the best one on the market, but i want to know so i buy the best one out of the two
The Strix is great, but I'm fairly confident that the Suprim is better overall. Probably not by enough to justify the price difference, but if price isn't a concern then I'd definitely get the Suprim.

Just got the card and it’s getting to 80c pretty often. I got a new case with better airflow coming in the mail but was just wondering if you had similar temps.
80 degrees is totally fine for the 3090, they run extremely hot without any issues. During testing I saw a max of 74 degrees at stock fan speed (gaming BIOS), but that was with an open test bench so I wouldn't be surprised if it hit 80+ inside a restrictive airflow case.

I already played around with the Trio 3090, but ASUS and the other companies never sent me their 3090's to test out. But, out of all of the designs for this generation I personally love the look of this one the most.

I had gotten a backorder of a 3090 Tuf Gaming from BestBuy and the very next day someone had commented that there was a 3080 Suprim on Newegg so I decided to check it out and it was gone. But 10 minutes later I checked the 3090s and the Suprim was available. So I ran around the house like a 4 year old who just saw Santa Claus and told my wife "we have to order it now!" So we did. It arrived 3 days later. I agree that it's the best looking card so far, even moreso than the Strix which I really loved. I haven't tried it yet because I need a bigger power supply, which I'm waiting to arrive any day now.

Hey, I am about to buy this card but I worry it may be too big. Is it bigger than 2080 TI? I mean in width, not length. My 2080TI has just enough room but I need to squeeze cables T_T. I'm using Lian Li normal case.
Oof, a little too vague with the information there for me to say for sure. Which specific 2080 Ti do you have, and which specific Lian Li case? I just looked it up and here are the card's dimensions: 336 x 140 x 61 mm. If your 2080 Ti is also about 14cm wide then you should be fine.

... Saran wrap? Definitely not. It should come in an anti-static bag just like the 3090 in this video. No new card will ever arrive in saran wrap. If it does, then it's not a new card, and probably not even the card you think it is.

@@IconGameplays Oh! Then no, most of the cards I've ever worked haven't come with the box wrapped in plastic. For the Suprim cards I wouldn't be surprised if they did ship with a plastic shell considering how the box opens without tabs holding it together.

Hey, no, cables like that don't come with graphics cards. Your power supply should come with the right number of cables, or if it doesn't then it's not built to handle a card like this.

Unfortunately not right now. Game wasn't stable enough for reliable numbers, and only got updated to run smoother after the card was returned.

750 Gold was enough for my 3800XT and the 3090 Suprim, even with the card and CPU running a decent OC.

Just sold a 3090 FE as it had issues with backplate and vram vrm overheating, i dropped to a MSI 2080TI Gaming x trio, ive just come across one of these for sale is there issues with vram overheating or the need to undervolt this card like the FE?

I'd have to test it myself to make sure, or watch some more reviews on it, but Zotac Makes really great cards. The Suprim X is a bit of a more premium model, but both should perform about the same for gaming, might just see some minor cooler performance differences.

My first thought was that the paper that was in the the other reviews was for reviewers. I cant imagine MSI doing that for every card. That's just unwanted costs on the consumer and manufacturer

Dude, in no world would I pay more than say 50 to $100 for one thing over another purely for aesthetic reasons. In your case I'd get the Strix without a doubt. It's only when you have basically an infinite budget where you should be spending that much more for better looks but about the same performance.

I have this card. Last month, I used it for a day and it was fine and the second day I got on it, it would keep crashing and giving me boot code 97 (on an X570 UNIFY). I RMA’d it and got it back yesterday and it worked great again, but then today, it kept crashing and giving me boot code 97 again... I’m genuinely lost and I don’t know what to do. I know it’s not the motherboard because I tested it with another card. I don’t have another system to put it in. If anyone knows what I can do to fix this, please help me out. Thanks T-T
