Definitely saved me a bunch of time, skinned hands/fingers, and general aggravation! Only note I would add is advising the viewers that the bulb assembly is a similar quarter-turn to remove from the headlight housing, since we’re still “flying blind”, essentially.

Nobody talks about how IMPOSSIBLE it is to actually get the bulb connector OUT without having baby hands or bones that bend. It's at a ridiculous angle.

Ok, so I did mine this weekend. 2014 Jeep Grand...much easier way....Turned the wheels all the way to the left or right, unclipped the molding, reached in twisted off and out the light, and replaced, took 10 minutes

I have the Overland and it has the expensive hid bulbs. I could not get them out until I saw another video. The trick is to reach through the hole under the fender and pull the bulb down to pop it off and then change it from the top. I hope this helps some people because Jeep does not make easy.

The high and low beams on my 2014 Jeep grand Cherokee went out at the same time. Repair shop said no codes come from the switch so they want to replace the bulbs. Seems strange for all 4 to go out at the same time though. Do you have any thoughts?

hey man, great vid! Q: i have 2014 gc limited sport utility, and my passenger bulb went out, are the bulbs H11? also, would you know, in the headlight, there is two of them right? Are those so called DRL? Is the other one then the high beam? thx
Not positive on the bulb number but yes 2 bulbs, check rock auto for the bulb numbers, great resource

Great video, But I have a problem, The bulb WILL NOT turn the quarter turn to remove the bulb from the housing, it's like it has seized up. I was changing both left and right low beams the one on the driver's side came right out. Any suggestions other than removing the
front grill assembly?
Definitely sounds siezed up, can you hit the backside with a little wd40 and try again

I replaced my passenger side bulb and my headlight still doesn’t work. What could be the issue? Fuse? Relay? 😕

My drivers side low beam bulb is frozen in the socket and I can’t turn it to remove. Guess I’m taking the front end off 🤬🤬

the cover is easy to get off but to get the bulb out you have to have some tiny hands, my guy! I scratched mine all up on that metal thing and couldn't get the new bulb in. PISses me off.

Thankyou your video was alot of help but god damn that passenger side bulb was a bitch. I had to pry it out with a wrench handle it was so tight. Buyer beware bought the h 11 leds n they won't lock in. I just put upgrade halogens instead...

Did the driver side ok, but couldnt twist the bulb out on passenger side. Tried through the top amd through the access hole and couldn't get a good enough grip to twist it out. What a terrible design by the engineers
