  • John from www.okraw.com/ shares the healthiest nutrient-dense vegan salad recipe + dressing you can eat.
In this episode, John will share with you how makes the healthiest salad out of microgreens instead of normal full-size vegetables. You will learn all the ingredients that he uses in the salad, and why he uses them. You will learn more about adding GBOMBS to your recipes, and how John is adding nutrient-dense GBOMBS to his salad to ensure he gets massive health benefits from all the ingredients.
First, John will make a zucchini juice-based miso tahini dressing with garlic. You will learn why he uses sesame seeds, macadamia nuts, and flax seeds instead of oil as his source of fat. You will discover why he chooses to use a vacuum blender to blend his salad dressing, instead of a traditional blender that will lower antioxidant content and oxidize any nutrients being blended.
Next, you will learn all the ingredients John uses in this super-charged salad that includes ingredients such as microgreens, mushrooms, wild rice, urad dahl beans, tomatoes, brown peppers, purple olives, and so much more. You will learn why John carefully selects each of these foods for his salad.
You will learn how John easily chops up the mushrooms and microgreens by using the toss-n-chop that allows him to cut and toss off his salad at the same time.
You will discover the amounts of some of the different ingredients that are being added to the salad and why John prefers to eat foods that are black or purple, and how important anthocyanins are to your health.
Finally, John will mix up all the vegan salad ingredients and mix them up. He will then try the salad on camera to let you know how it tastes.
After watching this episode, you will learn how to make the healthiest salad + dressing on the planet that is packed full of valuable phytonutrients and is nutrient-dense.

What a great video. Everything you shared with us was amazing. I don't think many people can achieve the level of healthy eating as you have. That was some salad! The dressing did look quite delicious. Never would have thought of using zucchini juice as the base. You are a genius! Thank you so much for all your hard work.

Thanks for the encouragement to eat more fresh raw fruits and veggies. I have recently been watching an okraw video a day for the last 3 days and get pumped about eating a nutritarian diet. I’m on a idk what diet, but love to cook from scratch and eat from my garden. Ive been following your gardening channel for several years now (it started with rock dust) and am constantly inspired to make the best soil for my veggies. Dr.Furhman is also an inspiration, I love the videos you made with him. I like what you said at the end of this video, it certainly was encouraging. The El Toro video was pretty cool too, I remember that one from a while ago. I’m currently in a gardening slump, I moved from LA to the Oregon coast. Insanely enough the growing zone is the same because I’m in this cool microclimate. But the conditions are total opposite, I went from hot and dry to cool and rainy (7+ft annually 😱, yes I said feet!). Cool thing though, we went up to Washington and toured Paul Gautchis back to Eden garden. That was epic. Anyway, thank you for making your videos, you inspire lots of people including me!

Hi John, even though I fall off the health wagon, sweet tooth. I do make sure I have a organic smoothie daily with Japanese Knotweed. Still Asthma, Phlemg and Drug free. The flu vaccine made me very ill. So I prefer to stick to organic plants as my real true medicine.
I have followed you for years and love that you cured your Asthma and skin condition with organic plants. Bravo! Thanks for all the outstanding videos.
I want to grow microgreens in Japanese Knotweed stalks. Resveratrol. Anti-aging.

by subtituting some of the water rich ingredients with their dried/powdered counter parts u can get in more vegetables and it tastes more intense/better (ye they may lose some nutrients during drying, but because u eat more u get more in after all 😇)

John was wondering how do you remove the enzyme inhibitors and tannic acid from the Flax seeds and other small seeds, and also the beans I have no problem with big seeds but trying to find a easy way to remove them... Thx in advance
Very good salad for sure I leave out cooked food from salads myself. Would it be better if you only mixed the dressing in the salad when you are going to eat it personal size. cheers

Cutting up the micro-greens for an enzymatic reaction is very interesting.
I heard similar things about people ripping up kale leaves and sealing them in a bag overnight, this kickstarts the kale's defensive mechanisms(anti-nutrients?) causing a hormetic effect/hormesis in the body when eating them the next day.
I also heard that doing this toughens your microbiome/good gut bacteria.
I wonder if any of this is true, or if it's similar to what you described when cutting the braska(?) micro-greens.
I'm sure you know a lot more about this than I. Maybe there's a common denominator, so I'm very curious!

It would be nice to see you create a full meal for a variety/group of friends to meet their tastes. #okRAWDinners
If there are self-described “carnivores” in the group, you might offer them a raw unseasoned chicken breast at room temperature with the skin* on and ask them to PROVE they are “carnivores” by eating the chicken carrion/corpse RAW like real “carnivores” do regularly. If it doesn't p' them off, it will fuel good conversation and blow up the ridiculous and divisive “vegan” v “carnivore” fallacies. Most self-described “vegans” still enjoy living off the fruits of a society built upon the annihilation of millions of other members of the #AnimalKingdom and their habitats and ecosystems; just imagine how many critters died or had THEIR homes destroyed to accommodate the most staunch bigoted self-righteous “vegans” home and they will realize they aren't real “vegans” simply animals with “vegan” diets who could care less about the wildlife (birds, insects, rodents, etc) their Western existence destroyed.

Too much fat, not enough glucose and beans are not raw and hard to digest.
