Thank you Weekender!!! We absolutely LOVE our office makeover. Ceiling is AMAZING and I think you need to be in our room live to really appreciate it. If the pattern was simple, I don't think the effect would be the same. The drawers in between us offer a sense of privacy and I would have never thought of it! We actually went through our paperwork and neatly organized everything in the cabinets. Our life is organized now and Monica's design was PERFECT :)
What do you store in the upper cabinets? I love the idea but I’m short (lol) & I’m not sure what I’d store up there. I’m not sure how often I’d want to get up there...
Fantastic results and those tips are gold. It was incredibly sensitive of you to still give them the option of still sharing a desk facing each other. It's funny how things like that are integral to people working at their best. This kind of human emotional design is why you are the absolute best. Charming couple too.
Please start including cost of materials used, even if its just paint that was used on the homeowners existing furniture. It would make a world of difference to people wanting to try out projects!
Everything was beautiful. The ceiling, storage, desk design, lighting in form of light shade and centre lighting in the form of chandelier, high neck chairs, the boards for making notes and calendar, the art pieces to balance empty walls, hanging storage space adjacent to door for mail, the art piece, the clock, the hooks to hang stuff and the greenery on the desk and in the room. Everything was so detailed and carefully thought over. Thanks am learning a lot from you.
This makeover is INCREDIBLE. My kiddo always wants in my space and I have been considering a setup to allow him space in my space and this just might be the answer. So good.
Love it! One thing that would probably be more accessible for using sticky notes would be to have made a smaller cork board on the wall space by the desk. Most people aren't going to keep sticky-notes behind them, away from where they're working.
Uhm, what is my favorite?!! There are so many!! I wasn't sure about the ceiling but I think that might be my favorite. It is absolutely stunning & the cabinets match perfectly. The room definitely looks bigger with the desk positioned where they are now. And it gives them so much space & storage. I just love the entire thing!! The color, the set up, the storage, the cabinets..........EVERYTHING!! Bravo!!!

The papered ceiling turned a work space into an elegant office and the cabinets near the ceiling with the crown molding added sophistication to the room!
A few great takeaways in this - with so many people working from home now, a lot of us need a two-person office, and I can definitely see this working for a shared room! The damask ceiling and chandelier aren't our style, but I could see a different pattern and lighting fixture working for us!

Like the wall paper, but I would have used it for an accent wall (versus the memo boards for zoom meetings) rather than on the ceiling. Extending the blue crown mould all around and adding a ceiling medallion might have been nice, and I love their idea for glass doors. The divider between desks looks very large and dark, but at least they can still see each other. I wonder how you get into the cupboard beneath the shared desk extension, and how you reach the cupboards at the top? Love the desk chairs and the chandelier. It looks so much bigger and more efficient!
I love the wallpaper on the ceiling. This reminds me of something my Mom did back in the seventy's. She used gold marbled metallic contact paper on the ceiling of our dining room. Good memories. Thanks

Absolutely love almost everything, including the colors. My only suggestion would be to move the two boards (calendar & sticky note) more in the center of the wall. Just put the second hook where the sticky note board is. That would look more balanced to me. The plant could be optional. Wonderful job though. 👍👍👍

Good example of how I see such crossover in the home decor and home organization fields. I've been watching The Weekender since Rob and Corinne's makeover and I'm loving it. It inspires me to do some DIYs instead of buying everything! I've gone back and watched all the episodes and I'm so glad they are longer now! The wallpaper on the ceiling was a genius idea! Love it!
everything look amazing but im not really sure about the wall paper color and print, I mean in daylight its great but dont know if its gonna be suitable to work with at night as well. personally i wouldnt be able to do so
I love how they have their personal space in the end and at first i didn't have any idea how the table gonna turn out. But it looked really great. I mean the table in the middle. If you have books ordocuments you need to access to, you can just put it there and try not to mess up the main table where you put your laptop, pencils,pens or notebooks.
I watched this video because of the blue cabinets in the Thumbnails, and I loved it. Use the kitchen cabinets is awesome too. Just one nitpick is that I would use the upper cabinet frame around the entire ceiling. Great work!
i usually prefer minimalist, modern design, or nordic design, but this one.......just blows my mind. it's not my usual kind of design but it looks so amazing!
The part that i love is the ceiling wallpaper, actually at first i am sucks with the art of that wallpaper, but it is doing great with the combination of silvery wall and darl blue cabinets, + the nice beautiful desk, really love the cabinet and the desk
Every time I think I found my favorite episode they come out with a new one I like more. She out does herself every time. I especially like that these are projects I could do at home.

I was frustrated just looking at that old desk set up, I would be able to stand three years of that. The new space is so much more inviting but it is more professional: I wouldn't be ashamed to have a meeting in there!
I absolutely love this!!! My favorite part: building the desk on your own and being creative with the cabinets!!! I would start including the cost for the items in the show if possible. I started to use some of the ideas but when I went to Lowe's to check on the items they were sometimes more expensive than I thought they would be. So including the budget and how much the materials cost would be really really good! I absolutely love your show and can't wait to see more!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this office makeover!! We are going to try to do something like this in our home office. Right now we have two desks on opposite walls and work with our backs to each other.. trying very hard to ignore each others' phone conversations with clients.

i love this so much, they really did the best for this space! My only suggestion would be to change those doors! feels so closed in, and white doors with white paint ruins the sleekness, maybe frosted glass doors!

Prices vary so widely. I’d recommend getting the product list from Lowe’s so you can get local prices.

The use of painted kitchen cabinets & plywood desk tops made the space sooo workable! BEST home office I've seen by far
